I love to go on road trips! We tend to go visit James in Lubbock (6 hours) or down to San Antonio to visit Joe's older sister (5 1/2 hours). We plan to visit my cousin and her husband in Oklahoma soon (5 1/2 hours).

I also like longer road trips. We may take one in the Fall to Henderson, it's outside Las Vegas. Joe's cousin and his wife live there. It's 18 - 19 hours from here. I want to drive and sight see, I think Joe would rather fly.

I have over the years but apparently none were memorable enough for me to remember.

My husband, and I tried to pull off a prank to our daughter today, but it did not work. I think it also had to do that she was not feeling well, and she hit herself with the side of the car door.

Have you ever done anything for Earth Day? If so, what? And what sort of thngs would you recommend doing with boys and girls that are 8 and 9 years old?

This sounds so sad but when is Earth Day?

I think that I would go for a hike and talk about what you see. Maybe plant something or do some trash pickup.

Earth Day is on April 22nd. Wish there was a place for us to hike, but sadly there is not. I was thinking that maybe we could plant tree saplings, or do something at a walking path in town. Maybe plant new plants/herbs or pull weeds....

I've never done anything for earth day other than nature walks or something in elementary school, but they were fun! You could always adopt a tree and plant it in a local park, a lot of people in my area do that.

They're okay but I don't go out of my way to buy them. I usually purchase store brands and nothing for full price.

I've been MIA because of the athsma attack I've been having. As for earth day, there are lots of little things that you can do, such as going down to the local beach (if you have one) and picking up garbage, or simply picking up a piece of garbage when you see it lying on the ground. As for todays QOTD: I don't buy designer, simply for the fact that I can't justify the expense.

Not really into designer clothes.... To work it is my Ann Taylor suits, that is about as designer as it gets lol. I do have a love for Vera Bradley products though. If anyone has any they want to part with, please let me know :)

Vanilla ice cream (nothing on it) a very close second is coconut cream pie.
