Love that you said that! My nephew was just at WDW for his wish--it was truly a vacation he won't forget, and I pray he has many years to remember! They go above and beyond and then some more for these kids.

I would say a greyhound, as they have been raced in the USA for a very long time, and would be nice to honour the breed. That and we are addicted to the breed, currently own 2 needle noses, and will always own a greyhound.

I would love a greyhound on a postage stamp. We currently have an Italian Greyhound but would love a full size greyhound someday.

As for my 8th birthday, I don't really remember. But, usually I just had birthday parties at home where I invited classmates over to play dodgeball.

acomasdiaz, there are alot of greyhound adoption groups in the USA, and it's just a matter of finding an adoption group that works for you. We've owned 4 greyhounds since 2002, of which 2 of them have passed on due to various health reasons. I think on the Greyhound Pets Inc site that they have links to other greyhound adoption groups in the USA. Alot of the time they are getting in greyhounds from the eastern USA, so if you are interested in adopting a greyhound, contact GPI, and they can give you contacts to the greyhound adoption group in your area. I think my 8th birthday was my first big slumber party. We got into more trouble staying awake than I ever knew possible. And now, I feel my mother's pain from those days- my daughter is turning 10 this year and having her own slumber party. This should be fun......

We rarely have kids stop by our house for Halloween. We live too far off the road, about 200 feet, for them to walk up the drive. Doesn't sound like a lot but when you are doing that to all the houses, it becomes a pretty far piece to walk. I'm not buying candy but if someone just happens to drop by, I'll give them a Little Debbie snack cake.

California is where I would like to go. Realistically, the first one I'll make it to that I haven't been before will probably be Nevada.
