Everything Rope Drop

We were at CBR late April. We used The Riviera buses in the mornings

Thank you. That sounds like a good suggestion. The one caveat for us is that our room is a Pirate room that we got through our daughter’s CM discount. I understand that those rooms are in the Trinidad section and that looks like a pretty long hike to the Riviera. Might still be worth the walk to get to a single stop resort.

Request building 34 or 35. 36 was good too. That's where we were in Trinidad. The walk was about 10 min. To Riviera.

We were there and March and they were letting guests into the park super early. Is that still a thing?

Heading to EPCOT in a couple of weeks and will be staying at BWV. Have been to all parks post COVID except EPCOT and believe I read someone here (yet can't find it!) they have been letting people in prior to 11am opening time. However, not sure 1) if this still is the case, and 2) if this has been the case at the International Gateway entrance? Any guidance and tips appreciated! Thank you.

IG opens in sync with the front gates.

There is a dedicated Sticky Post near the top of this forum specifically regarding Rope Drop at all parks. “Everything Rope Drop.”

Thanks. That post had some posts from awhile back regarding the same so will repost this question here to see if anyone has current information.

Post 1 is kept current. Parks are opening approx 45 mins before posted park opening.

You have received current information, the IG is the only entrance accessible to guests staying at boardwalk area resorts and therefore opens concurrently with the main entrance.

Post 1 contains current information about Rope Dropping parks.

I'll try asking this for the third time (3 strikes and you're out, right?), and if no replies, then I'll assume no one knows and I'll find out when I get there and report back. But, to re-ask,

Boat or Bus from Wilderness Lodge to rope drop MK? Do the boats start the same time as buses?
I have asked this same question on multiple boards and haven’t had a response for WL. What did you find?

Good morning. I found from the Transportation board that the boats start running about the same time as the buses. Still not sure which would be "faster", but who can beat a boat ride in the early morning, right?!

Hello all! Not sure if this is the proper place to post this, but I wanted to share a tip for those rope dropping EPCOT while staying onsite at WDW (excluding the boardwalk resorts).

On the EPCOT days during my trip, they opened at around 10 AM. I was staying at Old Key West, and the EPCOT bus didn't start arriving at my resort until around 10 AM, so by the time I arrived at EPCOT, the lines to the rides had already built up.

So, since Hollywood Studios opens at 9 AM, I started taking a bus around 8:30 AM and using the walkway to the boardwalk resorts. It was only a 15 minute walk and was an excellent, relaxing way to start the morning. Most days I also had time to grab coffee and a pastry at the Boardwalk Bakery before heading to the World Showcase entrance of EPCOT.

I was at the front of the line to enter EPCOT at 10 AM, and was able to ride Soarin/Frozen and Test Track before the park had officially opened.
