Epcot has been opening at 11 AM (posted opening time) since the park re-opened in July 2020. No changes have been announced so I would anticipate this to continue as park hours are currently out until July 24th.Hi, wondering if 11am Epcot opening is consistent or if it’s possible it may change by summer. I remember reading about early morning hours now as an alternative replacement for extra magic hours...is that a thing yet?
Also, what time the the skyliner start running?
All parks start opening about 45 minutes before the posted time as well, so Epcot is usually open between 10-1015. The specific early morning event hasn't started yet that will allow only onsite guests the early access. The announcement for it makes it seem likely to start closer to the 50th anniversary celebration.Hi, wondering if 11am Epcot opening is consistent or if it’s possible it may change by summer. There aren’t any pre-park opening ADRs currently. The parks open to all approx 45 mins before the posted opening time.Any advice on MK? Hours are 8am opening so assuming they will open 7-7:15am? And I have t been able to get an ADR earlier then that time to get in line. What’s my best option?
So, since Hollywood Studios opens at 9 AM, I started taking a bus around 8:30 AM and using the walkway to the boardwalk resorts. It was only a 15 minute walk and was an excellent, relaxing way to start the morning. Most days I also had time to grab coffee and a pastry at the Boardwalk Bakery before heading to the World Showcase entrance of EPCOT.
I haven't been since the Skyliner has opened so this may not be possible....but why didn't you take the skyliner from HS to Epcot? We're going in 3 days so planning things like this out myself.
It is. We had the exact same strategy last month & it worked great (although SDD had a delayed opening of about 30 min)For DHS, if we were to do SDD and then jump over to MFSR, does anyone know if the back path between Galaxy's Edge and TSL is open right away? The last time we were there in 2019, I remember that path was sometimes blocked off for entry into GE.
Basically what I did. 3 days HS, 3 days MK, 1 AK and have park hoppers. Relying on rope drop to hit the headliners and will hop to EP becasue of the late close. Will us the hop as a chance to go back to resort to beat the heat as needed.I know it's hard to predict, but I noticed that people were mentioning EPCOT isn't worth much to rope drop because it's essentially only a fast pass for a single ride. We're going in October when Ratatouille is open and I currently have two days set for EPCOT and two for DHS. Trying to figure out if I should make three of those DHS since EPCOT isn't really worth using rope drop on?
I would think with the new ride, you might want two days. One day do the two headliners in the world showcase and the other day do the two headliners in future world.I know it's hard to predict, but I noticed that people were mentioning EPCOT isn't worth much to rope drop because it's essentially only a fast pass for a single ride. If you are arriving before the posted park opening time (i.e. 45 mins before posted park opening time), Kilimanjaro Safari will not be running. It doesn't open until the posted park opening time. If you arrive then I would recommend joining the FoP group.Need RD strategy suggestions for AK. Looks like FOP is consistently very high for wait times at 9 AM. Is it much better at 8? Or should we go to safari at RD and hit FOP later?
