We live in Williamston - near Lansing. Raised in Dearborn, raised my family downriver - in Woodhaven and Allen Park.

I have a DD and family in Wyandotte and another DD and family in Kalamazoo.

We live in Grass Lake, which is a small town near Jackson.

I lived in Grass Lake for several years, my parents retired out there and lived there until my mom passed a couple of years ago. I still have family living in GL. I loved living there in a lot of respects, nice rural community and not too far from two good sized cities. We still drive through there on our way out to visit FIL a couple of times a year and check it out to see what's changed and to stop in at Rudy's in Michigan Center.

Just had to share this story with the Michiganders. I came to visit over the Summer for a family reuinion. On the way out of town I stopped at the grocery store and loaded up on Vernors and Faygo. Love me some Rockin Rye! We don't have either of those in NY. The cashier was looking at me like I was nutso with all of that soda I still have some in the garage...I'm drinking it VERY sparingly!

my fiance used to live in Wyandotte when he was younger!!! His grandparents are in Lincoln Park and we go down there a lot to visit his aunt (who is in wyandotte) and his grandparents. Darling fiance also works in Wyandotte as well. He lives in Livonia now.
