Is it still possible to book Port Orleans for 5 on Disney.com, that mnight be a better option for anyone with families of 5 but their free dining offer won't be released til next year.

Think we are going to book OKW, but I thought I would just pass on some info, sorry if you already know this....

I looked online for the price of just hotel and tickets and it came out cheaper than the mods ( 2571.00) but I thought I would look at the cost with flights, this came out way more expensive than the mods.....I couldn't understand this, so I phoned the booking number. They told me that if you book filight inclusive you go through a UK agent and theydo not have the discounts. When you book hotel and park tickets you book with Disney US and they recomended that I book my flights seperatly.

I thought this was interesting.....so I willl definatly be booking seperatly

Same with Virgin hols, just had a look and SSR is more expensive than AKL. Far better booking your own flights for OKW/SSR.

We just booked with CO today £200 cheaper than Disney site SSR in Feb with free DDP.
First time we have booked with them, they were really nice & answered all my many questions.

Thanks for all the info guys on this, just booked SSR for next May with DDP for 16 Days - managed to book flights with BA as they were the cheapest and also use some of my Airmiles so flights were meant to be £1800 but managed to get for £1045 flights and Accom £1900 Tickets £900 ish so all in £3800.00 ish so impressed we paid £3000 for Pop Century 2 years ago so we are now so looking forward to my 40th Birthday next year.

I have booked with disney, OKW 3 weeks next Aug. It was a little bit more than CO but you get a few extras and because its first time i am doing this (last time we went with the family over 10 years ago) its just handy to book direct with them

I've not been on the boards for a while. Just logged on today and got the news I was hoping for.

But.....now I'm thinking is it worth it....as there may not be any desserts included, we have tickets left from previous trips and the UK tickets are non transferable. Also does anyone know what the cancellations charge should we want to make any last minute changes, as DH works for an airline we'd travel availability. But we would like to stay at Saratoga Springs and have the Dining Option as we loved it last year.

No, we won't know until Disney officially releases dining plan info in August. However Disney UK is now reportedly sporting details on the revised 2011 plans in their 2nd edition brochure. I have ordered one, but you can download a copy on the website and I am sure all the info will be in there.

I think if you do a moderate resort and get QSDP you seriously need to rethink the value, but with deluxe and the regular plan (which has the least rumoured impact) may still be a good deal as only CS is speculated to lose desserts. Sadly I prefer QSDP and didn't book deluxe this year JUST because you can't downgrade to QS.

Looks like next year may be POP on the US site for me or a good room discount and meals OOP.

If the offer is on for your dates you will find a rate of around £117/nt if not on it will show around £240/nt
