Last I had heard it would be late spring to early summer. But that was in October. I will hopefully know more in January when I go down to be a CP, and post what I can. I hope this helps.

"…The opening cast member team for Expedition: Everest has been selected. They will report for work on January 8, at which time they will begin learning all about the ride and their duties. This would seem to point to an early February soft-opening. Everest merchandise will include plush Yeti figures, which may ruin the surprise as to the appearance of the creature if spotted before actually going on the ride."

I've heard a rumor about Earth Day or Spring. And I've heard soft openings start Feb/March. These are just rumors though. I'm sure disneyworld.com will start posting that info soon.
