Once years ago we were really really broke. I saw a sign for 5 dollar haircuts and told my husband to pull in there. He gets out sits in the barbers chair and the guy starts up te flo be. The guys hands shook from something, most likely DT's from the look and smell of the guy. Well his hands shoock so bad he balded a spot in the back of DH's hair. He had to wait like 4 weeks to have it grow enough to get it recut. I laughed my butt off over that onel

Classic case of "you get what you pay for". And on that same note, at the salon that fixed my mess yesterday, some of the stylists have T-shirts that read, "We Fix $7 Haircuts"! So true, except in my case, it was a $15 haircut they fixed.

I have had my share of bad hair cuts.
I have a LOT of hair, it's rather dry and it's curly. Oh, and I'm not handy with a blow dryer and the like.
Until recently, about no stylist knew what to do with my hair.
Now I found a salon where they can handle it. But sometimes I'm in for a surprise!

Couple of weeks ago, I went to ahve my hair cut a little + more curls, and it had to be dried nicely, because I had to go to a wedding.
I went in with hair looking a bit like Julia Roberts' hair in Pretty Woman and I left looking like Keira Knightley in the Chanel commercial (well, at least my hair style looked like hers!) Talk about a "shock"! But it looks good, and I have bought a new hair dryer that makes it easier for me to style it!
