Would like a recommendation on which restaurant we should try next at Epcot. We've tried the Living Seas, United Kingdom, France, and Morocco. What would you suggest next? We're thinking of the Biergarten because we like the sound of the entertainment there. Would that be a good choice or are there better ones to try next? Thanks for any opinions. Can't wait until August!! :jumping1:

Hi mavinlly,

Well, you're probably going to get 20 different answers to this one!

It depends on what kind of food you like and if you want entertainment or not. Everyone has different taste in food, so I could recommend my favorites, and the net person will recommend his/hers, but ultimately you have to decide what sounds good. I suggest you go to

and pick what you like by the menus.

Enjoy!

Hmmm....my fingers did something wrong there I think. Sorry for the incomplete post. Bob, thank you for the link. I had no idea that you could get all that information. I think when my husband sees sauerbraten, the decision will be made. His mom used to make it for him; rest her soul! Thank you, thank you!

Biergarten's entertainment is wonderful -- my two year old is still doing german drinking toasts 4 months after the fact. I highly recommend it -- the only negative thing I can think of is that the food is on the heavy side, probably more so in the heat of August.

Yep, you'll get all sorts of opinions here! I can only tell you we had alot of fun in both the Germany and Japan. Our kid's, DS4 and DS7 had a good time. The host and chef in Japan entertained them from the moment we walked in! My husband joined one of the silly contests during in the Biergarten on won a shirt for blowing in one of those L O N G yodeling horns! It was something to remember!

We have eaten in country except China in the World Showcase, and for the most part, have loved them all. DH really enjoyed Biergarten. I was not enthralled with the food (just didn't appeal to my tastebuds, quality was fine) but I would go back for the atmosphere, dark German beer and desserts. At Rose and Crown, we also didn't care for the food, but loved the atmosphere and received great service. We have been to Le Cellier twice. The first time it was phenomenal, the second was disappointing though the bread and cheddar cheese soup were still wonderful! Teppanyaiki and Chefs de France are our must do's, but we have not been disappointed by any World Showcase meal. My recommendation would be to check out the menus and se what food sounds best to you as I am sure you will find the atmosphere at any place delightful! :wizard:
