OK Guys-- I was wondering if you could help me figure out where to eat (TS) on our full day at Epcot.

We are on the dining plan. I have two boys (ages 4 and 6) and my parents will be with us, making it a party of 6, with me and DH. When we first booked, I made ADR's at Akershus for dinner (I've still got this ADR). Our last trip, we also ate one "princess" dinner at 1900 Park Faire, and we all really enjoyed it. So, I figured one princess meal would be fun (besides, our last trip in '09 was also my first time at WDW, and I'm reliving my childhood just a little bit ;)!). Well, we found out that my cousin and his family will be at WDW for the first few days of our trip, which we are thrilled about, but they really want to eat at 1900 Park Faire with us one evening, which brings my princess meal total to 2. 2 princess meals may be a little much for my motely crew, so I'm trying to think of other possibilities for our Epcot day.

ODS really wants to eat "at the place with Mickey where the forest goes by"--Garden Grill, but I can't get an ADR. The rest of us weren't that thrilled with the Garden Grill food anyways, but for DS, if we can get an ADR, we'd do it. My dad's request was "to eat at that steakhouse again" (Le Cellier)-- Can't get an ADR there either (no surprise, since we only planned this trip about 5 months out). Any other suggestions?

We're looking for a meal for 6 at or near Epcot (not in anotehr park, though, since we don't have hoppers) on December 20th. It can be breakfast (a late breakfast, like 11ish), lunch or dinner. Any thoughts outside of the box?

Oh, here's our other ADRs:
December 16th: Teppan Edo dinner
December 17th: Tusker house Breakfast and 'Ohana dinner
December 18th: 1900 Park Faire Dinner
December 19th: T-Rex dinner (OOP)
December 20th: Akershus (this is the one we're thinking of changing
December 21st: Chef Mickey's (either late breakfast or dinner-- I have both booked-- yeah, flame me now :rolleyes1)
December 22nd: Mama Melrose lunch (F! package)
December 23rd: Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner

Thanks for any help! --Katie

Since you're doing an oop anyways, how about doing Yachtsman oop and finding a ts to replace t-rex

How about instead of the place where the forest goes by, the place where the fishes swim by? Coral Reef.

I was going to suggest Coral Reef, too. I've not eaten there yet but our friends said the steak was better than Cali Grill (our fave). At Epcot we usually do Biergarten.

Just saw a 7:45pm Cape May Cafe ADR available. Close to EPCOT and lots of food choices. I've never been there before but I will be trying it myself in 3 weeks!

I have eaten at Coral Reef several times and never had a good food experience there. Having said that the atmosphere is really cool and kids would love it.
We have really liked Biergarten. The buffet is very good and there is a German band....the kids that were there loved it because they were able to go down on the floor and dance their little hearts out. Plus they do the chicken dance :)

We love Cape May! We've been there for breakfast and dinner....Love them both!

However, my first thought was Coral Reef....It's good too, but mostly for the atmosphere.

How about Kouzzina or Restaurant Marrakesh? Not sure if your eaters like adventuresome flavors or not, but those both at least have availability for that night.
