Here's the schedule of narrators for the 2009 Christmas Program at the America Theatre. We have seen this program every year since it's creation - when they held it at the Main St Train Station at the MK. It was moved to Epcot IIRC in 2000. This is MY holiday tradition!

Schedule & Narrators
American Gardens Theatre (5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 8:15 p.m.)
11/27–11/29 — Isabella Rossellini — NEW!
11/30–12/02 — John O'Hurley
12/03–12/05 — Steven Curtis Chapman
12/06–12/08 — Anika Noni Rose — NEW!
12/09–12/11 — Andy Garcia
12/12–12/14 — Vanesa Williams — NEW!
12/15–12/17 — Abigail Breslin
12/18–12/20 — Whoopi Goldberg — NEW!
12/21–12/23 — Brian Dennehy
12/24–12/26 — Edward James Olmos
12/27–12/30 — Angela Bassett & Courtney B. Vance

Out of these narrators I have seen Steven Curtis Chapman and Edward James Olmos. My very favorites were Charlton Heston & James Earl Jones.

We have tickets for a CP Dinner Package for 12/3 with Steven Curtis Chapman. We love his music, and he lives about 2 miles down the road from us, so that seemed a natural fit. Really looking forward to it!

Dave, I've really admired you up until this point...now I'm plum envious!

We went 2 nights in a row in 07. The 1st night was the kid from growing pains. Kurt somebody lol. I'm sure all the girls know who he is. The 2nd night was Edward Olmos. IMO he was great. I would imagine that's why he's there for Christmas this year. I never got to see Gary Sinese but heard he was really good. No matter who is the guest, the show is really nice.

Donnie, that would be Kirk Cameron and yes, every young girl who grew up in the 80's knows him.;)

He married a girl from the Buffalo area (where I am originally from). That and his primarily Christian-oriented film work makes him OK in my book. :thumbsup2 I think it helps when a CP narrator actually believes what he/she is saying!

You are from Buffalo, you lived in FL at some point, now you're in Franklin. Boy you sure do get around!:rotfl:

I had the privilege of meeting KC over the summer as he did a seminar at my church. He was a class act. So often "Christians" are about as narcissistic as Hollywood movie stars. KC was about as humble and laid back as they come.

Did I mention that part of my envy comes from that fact that you are leaving for the Fort in less than a week?!?!:sad1:

We are so excited, but until yesterday we had a very good chance of having to cancel the trip! :scared: Things at my company have been a bit shaky (common story these days!), and we were expecting some big news yesterday. Well, we got the news and it wasn't at all bad...so we are still on for our trip! We leave Tuesday morning. I'm picking up Bob at the Love's in Columbia, heading over 840 to get Frank and Denise, and if you want we can swing east for you guys.

Wow, this sounds familiar.....where have I heard this plan before? :confused3 Oh yeah, from last month when Bob and Frank ditched us and left us here in TN! Well to heck with them...I'll just pick you up Liv! (Sorry guys...just kidding!...:rolleyes1).

Ohh,,So now it's our fault that we ran late gettn outta here and you didnt stay at the pick up spot long enough . Okay,, sure,,we're to blame.:lmao:

Dave, you're going to be there 12/3? Why is the castle not going to be up until 12/14? I'm very confused!

We will be seeing Anika Noni Rose lead the Processional.

OK! Theres the opening I was waiting for!:yay: I didn't want to broach the subject of the pick up too early. I was gonna wait a few more days to bring it up. :rolleyes1But since you are offering....... I am soooo sorry we miss the pick up spot last month (all forgiven?):flower3: OK this time though if its raining I am gonna be waiting inside, the last time I was soaked and a funny truck driver was giving me the eye. Bags are all packed, ready! :teeth:

We saw it twice. First was Edward James Olmos and the second time was Gary Sinise. I have to give a slight edge to Gary. The music is exhilarating! I had tears in my eyes it was such a wonderful experience! Wish I was going down this Christmas! :sad2: Wife got beat out of Christmas week because someone with more seniority wanted it this time.

I thought Davein TN and Castle Dave were two different Daves? Now don't go getting me confused!
Yep, two different Daves. I am the incredibly untalented of the pair. :lmao:

Shan, you may have confused us as you met both of us last December, and both of us were staying with you in the 500 loop. But I can assure you, I was as amazed and awed by the castle as you were...and had absolutely NOTHING to do with it!

I REALLY wish Castle Dave was arriving before we depart on 12/5. :sad2:

Who the hell are you again?! LOL You're right I did get y'all confused! But I remember now, you are the good looking guy with two lovely daughters, right? Hey, glad you'll still be around when we check in on the 3rd. We should be on 300, look for my sign (or the big guy in red looping bellowing "Ho, Ho, Ho!").

Good looking?? You CLEARLY have me confused with someone else! :lmao: But I do have daughters...four of them. We met you at the first site in the 700 loop out looking at lights. You are EASY to spot in a crowd!
