Emerald Reserve, if booked mini-van will 1 be there?

Have never rented from National before but so far they have the cheapest (very relative term unfortunately-we're talking over Thanksgiving week & many of the codes seem to be blacked out that week) rate for a minivan. I used the Emerald Club contract ID & a rate code from Mousesavers. My ? is, if I reserved a mini-van will there definitely be a min-van on the reserve aisle for me? I need the passenger space & don't want a suv or anything else. What happens if other people pick the mini-van yet had reserved suv's? We arrive at 10:15am & I set a pick-up time of 11am the day before Thanksgiving.

Your minivan will be in the minivan section of national. It won't be in the emeral aisle. If they happen to be empty, in the minivan section, find an attendant and have them help you. They often tell folks to go to the Alamo minivan area to pick up, or may direct your to find one in emeral aisle or executive aisle. Since you are using emerald reserve, you are reserving a minivan, so you should be ok.

Thanks for the response. I was a little worried because the Emerald Reserve info says to go to the Emerald Reserve section & pick any car there.

There isn't an "Emerald Reserve" section, like Emerald Aisle. Emerald Reserve just means you go to the row of cars you reserved. If you reserved full size, you go to the full size row, if you reserved a mini-van, you go to the mini-van row. There is no sign that says "Emerald Reserve".

Correct, just proceed to the aisle of cars that says "mini van". You shouldnt have a problem finding a van (especially in Orlando!). In the unlikely chance that National doesn't have vans, they will send you to Alamo to pick one out...

Thanks for the info. I reread the info & you're correct it says to go to the ROW of the car reserved & pick any car, so there is a whole row for mini-vans. The last time I rented a mini-van it was $199/wk. I got (with rate code & contract id) $275 plus tax came to $340, next cheapest rate from any decent on-site rental agency was almost $100 more. There are no coupons now for late Nov so I am going to keep checking and hope I can bring it down some more.
