I had one in my cart at 730 am central- I immediate tried to check out and by the time I got to the last page it said it was no longer available! I was so disappointed because I thought if you had it in your cart it was yours and I didn't even wait to check out. Frustrating.

Yep. Same thing happened here so I called customer service thinking the website had crashed our something...not so much, just sold out already.
I can't help but think Frozen merch has been really mishandled. It's no secret that Frozen is huge, so adapt to that. Whatever Disney thinks is a good amount to make, they should've doubled it.
Also, I keep wondering how many will go straight to little girls and not on eBay for double/triple the price...

I set an alarm for 2:00am central time & got up around 2:20am this morning to be online at the Disney Store.I was able to get my daughter the Elsa in a 7/8 for our trip in early May. I also got an Elsa dress 5/6 for my niece, but little did I know my sister was ordering one. Now I have an extra one I can't cancel because its already processing. Oh well I am sure I can find someone who wants it. I have been on the Frozen hunt for surprise gifts for our daughters at WDW. So have I have the Elsa dress, Elsa & Anna doll, 18 inch soft Elsa doll, books, Shirt/Skirt outfit & finger puppet set all from the Disney Store! Only thing I want to get is the Elsa sunglasses & the Frozen Disney Package will be complete. lol For now...

Im pretty sure you can modify the purchase, I have been able to do it in the past and stopped something from being shipped.

Normally you can, but I called them today & they said the order couldn't be changed because it was sold out & they can't just put one item back online. They told me I could return it at the Disney Store.

I read on the Disney Store Facebook that the Disney Store online updates at 12:00am pacific time & that is 2:00am central time. The lady also said that it won't happen right at 12:00am on the dot it may be more around 12:30am. So I just hoped they would have some since they released the movie that day. It's a hit & miss game...

Actually no, it was my first & only time I have done that. I just didn't see getting one at regular price another way before our trip in May so I tried. We have 4 Disney Stores near us & they haven't had any Elsa dresses in since December. One store told me they won't be expecting them in stores again until around Halloween!

I was looking for a dress for May too. I have my son(1) to thank for getting the elsa dress. He was up at 3am so DH reminded me I was going to get up to look for the dress anyway. Lucky for us it was there! I tried to order the shoes too but it said "not available". I took that as It would be put out later in the day, because it didn't say "sold out". I went back and checked and they're sold out in our size now. Booo. BUT shipping was like $8 and I didn't want to pay that on 2 separate orders anyway.

I was able to score an Elsa dress yesterday around 6amEST on the disneystore site. I haven't gotten the confirmation email (but when I log in, it shows me order).

Of course, DD really wants the Anna coronation dress (green and short sleeve). Hoping they have it at WDW when we are there in May.

I see on ebay (not buying one there) that there are 2 coronation dresses. One is marked as deluxe, but some people have in their listings they were bought from the Disney Store and got an email that the dress could bleed colors. The other one I see is probably from Disney Parks. Is there a 3rd version out there too?

Almost the same story here. Our crazy little dog woke me up at 3:30am and being a poor sleeper I just couldn't fall asleep. Hit "refresh" on my iPad search of the Disney site and saw the dresses and grabbed one. I guess I should thank my dog!! LOL!! No shoes, though. Reviews say the fit is odd and that they might be uncomfortable. I actually got some very cute crocs for her instead. They almost look like ice and I think will work well. I was able to get a 5/6 although I was hoping to get a 7/8 so it would last her longer...I can't figure out the darn sizing of the Disney Store but whatever, we'll see if it fits. I was supposed to set my alarm clock for 3am to check but forgot but instead a early-rising construction crew woke me up at 5am....they were already sold out of 7/8 but I got the 5/6 and the shoes. So thank you, construction crew working on the gardens outside my 25th floor window, your loud trucks woke me up cranky but eventually I got over it. Now i just hope the dress fits!!

Oddly enough, I couldn't sleep that night and as it creeped closer to midnight. My DW suggested to go grab Frozen on Bluray since it was being released at Walmart at that time.

As we returned with it and popped it in, she soon fell asleep and I happened to just log on to the Disboards to find a post stating dresses were online. So thanks you Disboards

My Anna dress from JCP is now backordered. A friend told me hers was backordered and then canceled a month later. Crossing my fingers over here. So much for dd's birthday gifts.

not sure which Anna dress you are after, but there are still Anna dresses and her boots on the site right now. I almost bought one but, instead, am going to hold out and hope to get the Elsa dress at some point.
