Just b/c of my bad experience with JCP, I would contact them. Did you receive a ship by date or a back order message? If it's past those dates, and you haven't received it, they might cancel it. I just don't want others to go through what I did, I hope you receive it and if it's been cancelled you can reorder it. Good luck!!

I got a ship by March 5th. After seeing this thread I just checked the tracking link and it says it is on back order. So, it would not surprise me at all if they canceled my order after that date - how frustrating!
Of course, when I ordered it, it said it was in stock. They claimed to only be sold out in the size 7/8.

Aft one have the recall email and can post it regarding the Anna coronation dress? There is no way I'm returning it as it is stunning. Does the black run on the skirt? I won't wash it but if it gets rained on, I don't know...

Both the e-mail and the CM I spoke with didn't really specifically say how the colors run or how extensive the problem may be. They did say to try to avoid steam, heat, or liquids and not expose the dress to light colored fabrics. I asked the CM exactly what the complaints were and she didn't know (which I thought was kinda silly!!). She "thought maybe" it was like when you wear a new pair of really dark jeans and they turn your legs blue. Ugh! I kinda want to keep it but I really think it's silly to pay $90 for a dress that isn't high quality KWIM?

I stopped to talk to a CM at our local Disney Store today about Frozen costumes. He said they did have a few of the Anna coronation costumes and the manager had ok'Ed them to be sold as is to customers that asked. But it would be a final sale and you wouldn't be able to exchange them also they aren't out so you would have to ask about them. I asked him if the redesigned costume would be out by the time our May trip rolled around. He said no he wouldn't be surprised if wasn't available again until the holiday season : (

Just reporting back that JC Penney did indeed cancel my order for the Anna dress. It kept saying that it was shipping on the 5th, and then on the 7th I got an e-mail that the shipment was canceled. I appreciate the heads up.
Thanks to the warning I got on here, I kept looking while waiting to find out what happened with the JC Penney order. I found a size 4 at my local Disney Store. I think a 5/6 would have fit better, but my niece is able to wear the dress and loves it. There isn't much room to grow, but I really wanted something for her for now. If she is still Anna obsessed when she can't fit into it anymore, I will buy her another one.

I posted this on the family board, but I'm also going to throw this out here. I know this dress is probably not a licensed Elsa dress, but my 5 year old LOVED it...the chasing fireflies website is where I found it.

I'm pretty sure it VERY closely resembles an Elsa, in that people will probably be able to recognize it.

Yes I have seen it this week several places (only sizes XXS and XS though) and I don't like it nearly as well as the deluxe version, which we have decided to keep for now. They have had quite a bit of Frozen stuff this week: pins, books, dolls (Barbie size), t-shirts. But I haven't seen an Anna or Elsa dress larger than xs.

I also have 2 elsa dresses ordered from JCP.com. I placed the order on 2/14. It had a ship by date of 3/5. I called on 3/5 and they said it would ship on 3/6. Still no sign of it. I called back today, and was told it had a ship by date of 3/12. They basically have no idea when they think these items will ship!! I too have had orders canceled from JCP.com in the past. I hope this doesnt happen again.

The Emporium at MK had Elsa costumes back in stock this past Sunday (although they were different and IMHO 'cheaper' looking than the ones they had in stock before the movie came out.) I believe they are $64.95. But they are still pretty sold out on most things Frozen within the parks-- Castle Couture still didn't have the dresses out for sale.

I just returned from our local Target and just for fun, looked in the toy section at the Disney merchandise. They had about 8 Elsa dresses and no Anna dresses (except one including a doll dressed like Anna). Sparkly blue frilliness everywhere and no sensible Norwegian ethnic influence at all. Must have been a new delivery. They appear to have new merchandise for Rapunzel, Sophia and Doc McStuffins too.

I have absolutely no use for any of this stuff since my youngest DD is 26. Check today at your local Target. It appeared as if the stuff was just put onto the shelves.

For those needing a costume later in the year, I found this one on Birthday Express's website. It looks like you can pre order. IMO, it is far an above the Target/Walmart dresses in style. Hope this helps some.

Well the disney store put them online at midnight pacific coast time. They were sold out by 6:40am central time. - smh!! Knew I should've set my alarm for 2 am to check...wonder if thy will rerelease before our May trip??? Good luck! Anyone successful?

I had one in my cart at 2 am this morning, but didn't purchase it then. Wish I would've. But, I need it here by Thursday night because we're leaving for Disney Friday. (and I didn't want to pay $27 for 2 day shipping!)
I hope some of the stores close to me have some this morning and will ship. Fingers crossed.

I was able to order an Elsa and an Anna dress around 6 am this morning! Crazy.... I just wish they had the short-sleeve deluxe version of Anna's dress but happy I was able to at least get the long-sleeve one.

I got the Elsa dress for my daughter last night around 2:45 a.m. central time. She is going to be thrilled! Now, finally I can sleep at night and quit checking Disney Store.
