Elsa costume

I bet by the end of the summer there will tons of Frozen stuff, I will wait then and get it at a reasonable price.

Shame on those who buy up children toys and try to make a profit on Ebay.

not sure which Anna dress you are after, but there are still Anna dresses and her boots on the site right now. I almost bought one but, instead, am going to hold out and hope to get the Elsa dress at some point.

Thanks. She's need a minimum of a 7/8 (10 to grow into) and they are sold out.

Right?! Ugh.

My Anna dress from JCP is now backordered. A friend told me hers was backordered and then canceled a month later. Crossing my fingers over here. So much for dd's birthday gifts.

Did they email you about that? I just checked on my Anna and it says "in stock" and pending store delivery. (I opted to pick up in store to save on s&H)

Nope! No email! I was checking the status (mine was also ship to store).

Hi all,
I am not quite done, so I will post pics when I am, but I went to the second hand store (Salvation Army here) and bought a wedding dress that was white lining with white organza over top. I took it in a little to fit my DD, and of course had to shorten it. I dyed the white lining blue and am in the process of using glitter on the organza to make snowflakes. I bought some additional organza at the fabric store to make the flowing train.
The dress was $12 and the rest was very cheap, I think the whole project will be under $25.
I found the most beautiful bridesmaid dress that would have worked perfectly for less work, but it was a little too big, and I am not super crafty, can really only do basics.
Anyways, just an idea.

I ordered 2 Elsa dresses on 2/14. The ship date was postponed, and then they canceled the order. I called as soon as I got the cancelation email and they were able to resubmit the order. I FINALLY got them yesterday. My friend, who ordered her dresses the same day as me, had her order canceled the same day, and she called and they told her they could not re-process the order, that they were discontinued. Eekk... JCP doesnt know what its doing. Point is, if they cancel it, CALL THEM ASAP and they may can do something. BTW, for those wondering about sizing, IMO they run big. I ordered a Small (5/6) for my petite 6 year old, and its going to be way to big. But we will make it work!

I read on the Disney Store Facebook that the Disney Store online updates at 12:00am pacific time & that is 2:00am central time. The lady also said that it won't happen right at 12:00am on the dot it may be more around 12:30am. So I just hoped they would have some since they released the movie that day. It's a hit & miss game...

Where are you at in Texas? I am in Austin and desperately need a 5/6 for our May trip. I'm hoping to score one before then or get one at the park. My friend went last week and was able to get the last Elsa dress at BBB but no guarantees they will have it when we go.

I was able to order an Elsa dress in size 5/6 yesterday morning a few minutes before seven. I haven't heard anything since though, so I'm nervous that I will get an email that they couldn't fill my order. I'll just keep my fingers crossed, I guess!

I can't sew a stitch! LOL I looked at some Etsy dresses, saw a pretty one and showed dd. She said it was very pretty but she didn't want it bc it's not the "real" one. She knows very well what the disney dress looks like bc she sees girls wearing them at the park all the time.

The discount costumes sites have a decent looking Elsa one out for preorder now. I wonder how long before it's in stock? I imagine this is the start of nicer non-Dinsey ones being available widely.

The one such site I saw the other day had a back in stock date in May...

I preordered one back in February at a costume site, and it was sent to me last week. It is a lot nicer then the ones at Target/Walmart.
