I arrived at Universal today. The TM at check-in at Cabana Bay told me that EE starts at both parks tomorrow (6/14/15). I asked him if it would be that way for the rest of the week, and he said yes. I don't know when it might change back to one park. I wanted to share the info here in case it helps anyone out with their planning.

makes me think they are expecting more crowds..
last year i think both parks had EE closer to the end of june.

Nice, hope it's like that for our July trip. We have not used EE in a long time so maybe one morning we will this trip.

Great! We'll be there the 18th and 19th and won't have park to park tickets, so it will be nice to get into the Studios at 8:00a.m.

Thank you for taking the time to post this. We will be there in ten days, and I was really hoping they would switch to EE at both parks by then. :yay: Now I know I can plan to start our first morning at Diagon Alley.

I'm glad I could be helpful! I've gotten such great advice here, and I wanted to do my part. :)

We did EE at Diagon Alley this morning. We didn't get to the park until about 8:15, but DH was still able to walk on to Gringott's twice in the single-rider line while DD and I did some shopping and did all the interactive wand spots without having to wait in lines. Then we rode the HE about 9:00 as a walk-on and were able to walk around a relatively uncrowned Hogsmeade for a while. DH rode Dragon Challenge as a walk-on then did a walk-on FJ single rider while DD and I did a very leisurely castle tour. Then we took the HE back to King's Cross (just had to wait for the train to make it back-we walked right up to our numbered gate section). We went to the Leaky Cauldron for lunch and had to wait about five minutes for a cashier, and the dining room wasn't crowded at all. We went to MIB (10 min posted wait) and did a little shopping, and about 1:00 came back to Cabana Bay and spent the rest of the afternoon swimming. So, EE really worked out well for us!

I checked the wait times this evening and nothing was very long. I hope it stays that way all week, as this is our first summer trip, and I've been really nervous about the crowds.

I'll be sure to post again if I get any more good info!

My family are down there at Hard rock and were told that both parks will likely remain early entry till August .They are expecting it to be more crowded this summer.

Thanks for posting, i really really hope that the EE can stay until September when we go... I really want to ride Gringots without waiting half my life for the pleasure.

So excited :)

Touring Plans said they confirmed both parks EE through August 2, only IOA after.

Oh darn, well we'll still be able to get to Diagon Alley 1st thing or stay and ride it last thing before closing.

I was at RPR this weekend (and Monday) and had no clue that US was added to early entry! Now it makes since why DM had a 90 wait on Monday and 9 AM! :rotfl:All of the signs at RPR still just said IOA EE.

I thought early entry was just for Diagon Alley? But is it for the whole park?

Hmmm, well thats good to know but will cause a big change in plans, lol. I'm offsite and have an express pass and wanted to hit DM, Mummy, Tranformers, and even ET in the regular lines to checkout the themed queues without hour long waits first thing in the morning... I guess I can sleep in now.
