I found it in a Taste of Home magazine...would you like me to send it to you?
It is basically chicken, mushrooms, onion, roasted sweet peppers in thawed out frozen roll dough. I am making it for the first time tonight.
Will let you know how it turns out.
I am making soup to go with it.

I'd love this recipe too if you don't mind sharing. Sounds like something our family would love!

Tonight we are grilling shrimp kabobs. I detest going out on Valentine's simply because of the 2+ hour waits. I'm finally coming into my own concerning cooking, and at the ripe old age of 31.8yo, lol, I have decided that I would rather cook than spend the money eating out. I bought a very nice set of stainless steel cookware from Costco, a nice nonstick Tramontina pan for cooking stuff like hashbrowns and eggs that are a pain to do in a stainless steel pan, and a scour the internet for recipes of stuff that we liked to eat at Olive Garden, Applebees, etc. It's actually become a lot of fun. DH always cleans up the kitchen. Which is a good trade- he hates cooking, and I hate cleaning the kitchen!

So, I'm making skewers of shrimp, and skewers of onions, peppers, and mushrooms. I will probably put some teriyaki marinade on them (from Costco). Serve with rice. Yummy!!

Tonight is Beef Stew in the crockpot because I have class.

Tomorrow will be a late lunch at Miso Teriyaki House for a late valentines day celebration. We love Miso because it is really inexpensive (if you don't do sushi) and it is SO tasty and filling.

Wednesday is Teriyaki Chicken Noodles with Egg Rolls.

Thursday is left overs because I have class.

Friday is out with my dad for my birthday! No idea where yet.

Saturday is out with my boyfriend for my birthday! We will be going to Carrabbas since it's one of my favorite and I have a free dessert birthday coupon.

Sunday is Chicken fried Steak, roasted potatoes, and milk gravy.

Monday is fend for yourself since I have class.

Tuesday is whatever my boyfriend and I decide on.

Wednesday is grocery day!

Just came back from the grocery store and we only spent 86$ this week. ( I had 20 to put towards the bill from a return i had made) So here is my list

Tonight- Beef bake
Tuesday-Chicken and rice
Wednesday- Shepherds pie
Thursday- American chop souy
Friday- Pizza and a movie
Saturday-mac and cheese
Sunday- taco's

1/30 no eat out days

figment i like how how are tracking your no eat out days as part of your posts.

we have been doing much better with the eating out compared to before. i used to go out at least 3 times a week. now its been once a week or everyother week with either a restaurant.com coupon or cheep buffet. even those add up though. i am trying to cut costs as much as i can. if i can skip the eating out all together that would be amamzing.

tongiht i am having psta with vegis.
tommorrow i am making turkey chili taco soup for dinner.

for the rest of the week im am going to go through my pantry and freezer and take it from there.

Hear, hear! We used to do it maybe once every week or two but even THAT adds up, as you say. DH and I are going out to dinner on Sunday 2/20 to mark the 17th anniversary of our first date...but we haven't had a dinner out alone in I don't know how long! Then next month he is going out of town for a weekend and I told the kids I'll take them out for dinner somewhere (Friendly's or a diner) and it really seems like an event since we don't do that any more! :thumbsup2

Here's what we are having this week:

2/13 Turkey tenderloin

2/14 Teriyaki drumsticks

2/15 Pasta

2/16 Quesadillas

2/17 Meatloaf

2/18 Rice & beans

2/19 Waffles
