Happy Super Bowl everyone! Go Pack!
I just tested out some fried pickles. They were awesome! I can't wait til company gets here. My pineapple terraki chicken wings are bubbling away in the crockpot. I am going to serve those over rice to sop up all the juice. I also have Franks' hot sauce buffalo chicken dip ready to go in the oven. My neighbor is bringing a cheese plate and I made some low cal chocolate brownie muffins this A.M. The Bloody Marys are locked and loaded lol Have a great time today:)

I am struggling with tonight. Crazy weekend and my dinner plans ended with Sat. Tomorrow my boys and I go out to lunch--Noodles or somethig like that--as we have lots of apointments. tonight I have to come up with something!

Then i will have time to plan for the rest of the week.

I am not feeling very well today so mom is making the chicken paprikash soup. Tomorrow we will probably have the leftover pork bbq my grandma sent home with us yesterday.

Here's my plan for the week:

Monday - BBQ drumsticks (slow cooker), Wacky Mac, broccoli
Tuesday - Turkey shepherd's pie (fish sticks for picky DS), peas & carrots
Wednesday - Pizza (homemade - 1 marinara, 1 pesto or foccaccia), salad
Thursday - Meatball subs, corn
Friday - Costco chicken, brown rice, salad (not too exciting but oh well!)
Saturday - our usual breakfast for dinner! This week it's corn pancakes - half regular, half blueberry; also turkey bacon and smoothies
Sunday - Lemon garlic turkey tenderloin, garlic bread, carrots

ok the weekly plan

Sunday we had a rotisserie chicken from Costco - corn and baked potatoes

Monday- spaghetti and meatballs- leftovers from Friday I think? And I still have more in the freezer!! Love that!

Tuesday- leftover chicken from Sunday is being turned into Chicken Enchilladas with rice

Wed. Crock Pot Pot Roast with noodles

Thursday
Sausage and peppers - either pasta or subs depending on the mood that hits me and I'll make double so that we'll have whatever one we don't have this night on Saturday (so if it's pasta thursday it'll be subs on Sat!)

Friday- Tacos with hopefully leftover rice from Tuesday.

Have to say loving having a plan- no wasting time running to the store- or staring into the pantry. And still no eating out!

Hear, hear! I said to DH last night that it's SO much easier not to have to worry about what to make! I KNOW it will be helpful when I get a job, too! :cool1:

Hi everyone,

I'm joining you guys for a while in an effort to shed 10 vanity pounds and save some cruise money.

I plan to take the leftovers from the night before to work for lunch the next day (alternating with the occasional sandwich).

Oh and to make things interesting, I'm vegan.
Here's my plan for the week:
Tonight- Chili and salad with garlic bread
Tomorrow- Veggie stir fry
Wednesday- Enchilada casserole
Thursday- Sphagetti
Friday- Pot luck/ clean the fridge night (my 3 bffs and I do this every friday instead of going out. everyone brings something out of their fridge or that they made that they don't want any more)

I'll be out of town Saturday and Sunday so I guess I won't be able to do eat at home then.

Okay, the grocery store shopping is Wednesday morning so my menu starts there.

Wednesday: Penne with Shrimp and Herbed Cream Sauce and Garlic Bread

Friday: "Fried" Chicken, Biscuits with Honey Butter, and Corn

Sunday: Italian Sausages, Baked Beans, and Broccoli Salad

Monday: Beef Stew and Fresh Bread

Not the healthiest week, but that wasn't on purpose! Some weeks are just better then others.

Tonight's plan is leftover pork bbq with potatoes and apple slices.

The rest of our menu is

Wednesday- Chicken and dumplings ( made from the rest of the whole chicken my mom cooked yesterday)
Thursday- Baked macaroni and cheese with salad
Friday- My Birthday!!!!!!!!!! So we are going out
Saturday- Having the family over to celebrate my b-day with a spaghetti dinner
Sunday- Leftovers from Saturday
Monday- Pork chops with apple gravy, baked sweet potatoes, and glazed carrots
Tuesday- Vegetable beef soup with biscuts

I'm so late in posting this week. I had an interview on Monday and little league practice started Tuesday so life has been crazy, but I did follow my menu.

Monday- Leftover Italian Beef sandwiches
Tuesday - Hot dogs with chili, chips
Wednedsday- Crockpot roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, fried cabbage
Thursday- Chicken parmesan, spaghetti with marinara, green beans, garlic bread.
Friday -Fish stick tacos, cole slaw, baked fries
Saturday - Pancakes, turkey bacon, and eggs for dinner - DS has a birthday party this day.
Sunday - Grilled burgers

Monday we had sweet and spicy meatballs, lipton noodle packet and frozen brocolli
Tuesday was black bean/chicken in crockpot with corn chips
Tonight we are having a pasta/chicken/asparagus "stir fry"
Also on my list for the rest of the week is:
chicken pot pie
taco salad
spicy asian chicken tacos

Tonight we are doing leftovers rather than macaroni and cheese. We have been busy cleaning stuff out because we are getting a new (well new to us) recliner on Sunday.

Since the beginning of January we have not eaten out once during the week.... that is huge for us! :cool1:

Sunday was a taco pitch-in for Superbowl
Monday was spaghetti and meatballs
Tuesday was Pot roast with potatoes and carrots, green beans and biscuits
Wednesday was leftovers
Tonight was scrambled eggs with onions, mushrooms, and cheese, and ham biscuits (leftover from Tuesday)
Friday - baked chicken, perogies, and broccoli
Saturday - Chuck E. Cheese for ds's 4th birthday.

Great job!:yay:

Man, I hate eating at home. We've been SO BAD about it since 2011 started... and we were SO GOOD for the second half of 2010.

I need to get back on the bandwagon.

I used to eat out so much more but then we bought a house.

Wednesday was stuffed peppers
Thursday I had a big lunch so just pasta for dinner
Friday using leftover roasted chicken to make soup and we have leftover stuffed peppers.
Saturday - we have to go out for the day so we'll eat out. DH wanted cracker barrel but to save $$ we're going to Pizza hut.
Sunday - might go to inlaws and we will cook meatballs and pasta for them.

I made stuffed peppers this week too! Sometimes the old recipes are the best:)

I used to love stuffed peppers, but can no longer really enjoy the old family recipe for it because I have to limit the amount of tomatoes I eat (especially sauces and the like). I have been looking for a new recipe, but I have had no luck so far finding something I like.

Great job!:yay:

Thanks! I feel I may need to clarify, though....... We have not eaten once during the week days.... We have continued to eat out on Saturday. Once a week eating out is big for us..... It used to always be at least twice a week.
