A friend brought her dinner to work last night and shared a taste of it with me. Wow! This was awesome and easy to make! Hopefully I can duplicate it!

4 Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)
1 pkg cream cheese
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 packet of dry Italian dressing mix

Throw it in the crockpot all day, and serve over bowtie pasta. Yum!

That sounds awesome.... Let me know what you think of it after you make it.

Yesterday was crazy. I was gone from 5:30am until 8:30pm working the election. I did come home for lunch but stopped and got a pizza for dinner because I was way too tired to even think about cooking/heating anything up.

Tonight we are having crock pot chicken teriakyi. I found the recipe on pinterst so I hope it is good.

Sunday night we had leftover stir fry
Monday was chicken noodle soup
Tuesday was Swedish meatballs with egg noodles
Tonight will be spaghetti and sauce
Thursday will be pizza and salad
Friday is my birthday so I am not sure what I want to cook yet. :confused3
Saturday we are going out for sushi with my best friend and her family
Sunday will be a chuck roast with potatos and carrots

Last night was a school night so the family fended for themselves. Tonight we are using a Groupon for a Mexican Restaurant. Friday we have an absolutely free Yelp party with a whole bunch of free food and drinks. I don't plan on going food shopping this week. I have a whole chicken in the freezer for a Sunday meal and plenty of other food to hold us over.

Mmmm so good. We call it Angel Chicken pasta. I use for golden mushroom soup and some wine in addition. It's a favorite of ours and so easy too. Your dish is probably the same and oh yes, it's awesome as you said. I've made it for parties as it is fancy enough for company and yet simple enough for everyday. Here's my favorite: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/angel-chicken-pasta/detail.aspx
I haven't fixed it in quite some time and you reminded me how good it is. I think that will be on next week's menu now. Thanks for sharing! :flower3:

Bumping this thread up to the first page

Tonight we are going to a fish fry at my cousins school.

Struggling as DH has started working evenings- So it's just the kids and I for dinner. This week we had regular meals but it's going to change. I am going to simplify the dinner thing. I just have to work out how I am going to do this. This week I made a plate for dinner for dh. He ate it but stated that he gets home so late he would rather eat lighter. like a sandwich. :confused3 I have 4 kids so we still have to eat. I don't know.

We went to a Yelp! party last night. It was cool because there were a bunch of local food vendors there and we got to try a bunch of different foods and drinks for free. We also won some stuff like a t shirt and a wine caraffe.

Before that we ordered Papa Murphy's new cheeseburger pizza. It was yummy and inexpensive, my two favorite combinations!

Tonight is "whatever you want". We ended up going out to lunch while we were out and about so we know we won't be hungry for a real dinner. I picked up some sushi and spring rolls at Fresh Market for myself.

I am addicted to sushi myself! Tonight am making some of Aartis' Indian dishes from Foodnetwork. I will post the review tomorrow.

I have done horrible at trying to eat at home. My husband is finishing up his 60 day juice fast this week and is going vegetarian. While he was on his juice fast, my daughters and I have eaten out so many times...far more than usual, usually $25-30 at a time. I really haven't planned meals at all. I plan on eating some of the meals he makes, but I have also planned and shopped for some meals as well. Working 7p-7a the next 4 nights, so I am relying on my crock pot mostly.

Tonight - we had chicken with pineapple fried rice from pioneerwoman.com--was good!

cheeseburgers

chicken spaghetti casserole (I already have this prepared and frozen, just needs to be put into the oven)

Italian drip beef sandwiches

the recipe posted recently for the chicken in the crockpot with Italian dressing/cream cheese/cream chicken soup with bow tie pasta

homemade pizza

corned beef dinner (on Saturday)

I'll make salads as I go to eat with these dinners.

I am so far off this track, I think I forgot how to cook. I have to go food shopping tomorrow but I am stuck on what to make for this week. I am half tempted to buy a loaf of bread and some cold cuts and just make sandwiches all week.

Edited to add:
I decided to place a grocery delivery for tomorrow and have the following items on deck for the week.

ziti with meatballs
hamburger on english muffin
grilled chicken with vodka sauce or maybe chicken parm style since I'll have defrosted sauce.
jack daniels pulled pork
english muffin pizza
mac & cheese

it will be tuna salad or turkey sandwiches for lunch, cheerios & yogurt for breakfast.

We leave for Florida a week from Tuesday... :woohoo: So we have an easy week of meals since I will have a few nights of working late and packing to do. Here is what is on our menu this week for DH and the boys - I will be eating a lot of salad. :cheer2:

In no particular order:

Fish & Chips
Eggs, Bacon & Toast
Chicken Parm Sandwiches and salad
Corned Beef & Cabbage
Cheese Burgers, Chips & coleslaw
Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup
Pancakes & Sausage
Minnestrone/Pasta Fagoili Soup & Biscuits
Pizza

I am sure I will have to run and pick up a few last things for our trip and will grab what else is needed to make it through....

Would you mind sharing the ginger glazed pork recipe? That sounds really good.
