Easter week fireworks?

What are the current guesses there would be pyro mid week after Easter
April 6-10?

Not sure where spring break is falling most heavily this year and what they might do…

I’m going to say likely not. The week leading up to Easter is the big week for spring break with LAUSD being off that week.

Nightly fireworks start March 20. Is it usually two weeks? If so, it should end on Easter Sunday.

That is silly. It should be the week before & the week after since that is when most schools have their breaks.

You base that statement on school districts where? It looks like the Anaheim school districts which are closest to Disneyland have either the week of March 23 or March 30 (the week before Easter) off. I believe someone already mentioned LA Unified is off the week before Easter. Some of the major school districts serving the San Diego area have the week before Easter off. Several northern California school districts have the week before Easter off. The school district in the town that I live in is taking the week of March 23. All but one of the California state colleges gives their spring break in March, many of them choosing that week before Easter. Most of the University of California college campuses will be taking the week of March 23 as spring break. So as far as local California based schools, I'm not really seeing any that are taking the week off after Easter. While people travel to Disneyland from all over, the bulk of visitors are from California. Furthermore, the rumored agreements that Disney has with the city of Anaheim suggest that they are to minimize their use of fireworks on weeknights during the school year so since the closest local schools that I could find are having spring break either of those last two weeks of March, that would make sense for Disney to choose to run fireworks then.

Yep, I remember Easter and spring break being together when I was a kid, but that was a long time ago. When they were growing up, my kids' spring break was usually aligned with what is now Cesar Chavez day or whenever the week before Easter fell. Before Easter still works for a lot of districts but fewer and fewer seem to be choosing after. School schedules are different from when I was a kid. Many districts start as early as early August; some districts finish just as June is beginning. Break times have shifted and changed as these schedules have changed. My nephews are off all week right now for what their district calls Presidents' Week and some call "ski week". They will be off again the week before Easter.

Yes, and people are expecting Disneyland fireworks that week. It's the after Easter break that seems to be disappearing, so it makes sense for Disney not to do the nightly fireworks that week.
