Early October Dining booking issues?

If it doesn't open in the next couple of days, I won't be able to book BB Fantasmic until I get back from a cruise mid Sept!!
That is going to drive me crazy

I'm hoping we don't have to wait but if we do, can I help you book?

Thanks for the updates everyone! At this point, I'm hoping we actually get the reservations that we want. They've put it off for so long that I have a feeling the system will be totally swamped once they finally do open up the dates. This is our first visit Disneyland, so I'm hoping we get to do (most) everything we have planned! Fingers crossed!
I've been worried about the same

I guess one thing at least with BB and WOC dining packages if we miss out you can still see the shows with regular fastpasses.

In lieu of making our ADRs I have temporarily satisfied my planning needs through reserving Chefs Counter at Napa Rose for Monday October 5th:D

Has anyone tried in the last couple of days to make dining reservations (online) for October 1? I made one 2 days ago for September 30, but now October is still "grayed out"/showing unavailable. Anyone had any success with this? Any speculation on why?
Glad I'm not the only one! I posted about this in the October check-in thread. What gives?? This is so un-Disney.

I've now been checked bag for about 21 days! Every day, several times. Bored!!!

Worried about my BB Fantasmic dinner - only 1 Fantasmic on that week with the Halloween parties on Thur/Fri & Sunday night......hope I can get a table or I may not see it for another decade..

I'm going to start calling tomorrow. Is there a survey at the end of calls like there is when you call WDW? At least I can say 'dissatisfied' for the questions about whether the call resolved my problem.

Don't forget you can still get a regular fastpass for Fantasmic even if you can't get a BB reservation. Admittedly viewing position won't be as good and you will need to get there earlier to grab a good spot, but you will still be able to see it.

yep...only one when I am there too.
But, I will be back. ::yes::

I know, I am very keen to get the BB package though, last time I was there 10 years ago I had some very tall ppl in front and saw none of it, my husband always raved about how great that show is but I never knew why...I shall keep checking the site, BB Fantasmic dinner was going to be for our 10 year wedding anniversary.

No news today... does that mean good news is coming soon? I'm hoping so! Trying to touch base with our travel agent so we can finalize some dates for our trip.

There is a survey, but be sure you let them know that it wasn't the CM's fault for your dissatisfaction (unless you have a problem with the person you talk to). I think the CMs are just as frustrated as we are with the lack of decision from management.

Indeed @Spyral they did some updates on the website. But not on the dining part. It's possible to see attractions and character times until the 3th of october. I'm so curious why the 3th of october. The 1st I get, even 25 september I get (first halloween party) but why the 3th?

I just tried calling 2 minute ago.CM said that their inventory for dates after 10/3 hasn't been released yet and likely won't be until the end of this week.

Which is what they said last week. I don't blame the CM, they're just going by what they're told. You want to have flexibility as to when to accept reservations, fine. But then don't claim that reservations can be made 60 days in advance, and certainly don't "highly recommend" that they be made then either. If they had a one or two day delay in releasing the dates while they are figuring out hours, that's one thing, but we're now at three weeks. Unacceptable.

Maybe if we bombard the parks blog posts with questions about when the dates will open we'll get some sort of response or acknowledgement. But probably not.

I don't need reminding to be polite and to be nice to CMs. I'm sure you didn't mean to offend me, but you did.
