Early Dec- when are you going?

We'll be there 11/25 - 12/9 but the poll wouldn't let me choose 2 weeks. We can't wait. We're hoping for low crowds but will just be happy to be there!!! We've never seen the parks all decked out for Christmas. 8 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you really are nervous aren't you IMO it's the same group of us checking out every new response to that thread

it's in my siggy 12/10-12/18 and i voted for the 11-18 week - a poll that includes christmas week would give you a real sense of just how many people will be there on a relative basis.

ETA - I made ADR and childcare resi's as recently as today. i can't get into le cellier but pretty much anyplace i'm in. and i just rented a car w/no problem today too.

LOL, you're right on every point! I think the problem is that I have nothing left to do for this trip. Ressies are made and paid. Bags are nearly packed. ADR's are settled. Carriage rides are reserved. Nothin' to do but sit and think about what could go wrong. Oddly enough, I've been in the heat and crowds of the summer, and it was a fantastic time. I remember 3 hour lines, but I don't remember crowds. I just remember being really, really happy. I need to get back to that happy place!

Just remember to check the weather channel for weather in Orlando. Next week a cold front is coming through and will drop temps in the 40s at night and 60s during the day. No heavy coats dress in layers. Its easier to tie a sweater around the waist then deal with a big coat and don't forget about gloves. At Disney they sell them for about $8 (just plain black knit gloves) probably can find them at Wal-mart for a couple of dollars. I love when it cold in Orlando when we go to MVMCP it makes it seem more Christmasy. Oh and yes I'm a Floridian so 40s is cold to me. LOL Heck its 81 right now but it feels like 84.

i'm in exactly the same boat.

i've been keeping it to myself but my irrational worries include:
-what if there's a snowstorm when we're leaving
-what if our kids won't nap when we want them too
-what if we get sick
-what if we oversleep on soarin morning
-what if our luggage gets lost
-what if the box we ship doesnt get there till mid-week
and like you ... what if there are giantic crowds

i'd also wager that some of the Christmas week people are looking at that thread too.

Oh my goodness, that's my list of worries! Ditto on the naps, the oversleeping, the luggage....

12/4-12/11. Split stay with 4 nights at the BC and 3 nights at the Poly with a friend of mine from Chicago. I'm a recent FL transplant.

We arrive on 12/3 and leave on 12/10. I too have these same sort of worries but I am trying to believe that it will be the same or even better then all our last trips.
