EARLY CHECK IN: December 15th, 2007 - Seven night Western - 12/15/07

I meant to wish Andy a happy birthday yesterday. I cannot believe he's a year old.
:bday: to Andy...one day late.

The pictures are precious.

I think one stocking per family is great. How many do we need to fill? Thanks for organizing this.

For the stocking exchange here is who I have down (I included the kiddos and ages just in case):

dutch_girl_scout (DS15, DD12, DS1)
Cristit14 (DD12, DS9)
PinkPrincess (DD7, DS9mos)
FeinFam (DD12)
Queen2 (DGD11)
KCWildcat (DD6)

I'm sending out another mass e-mail so that we have a final manisfest (we only have 30 days to go, people should know by now whether they are going or not!) so we'll see what we end up with.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Andy, it was a fun day. Can you believe all that's happen in the last year, not to mention since this thread started? Is there a way to print out the thread and keep it for a journal or something? Ok, I'm feeling mushy so I'll stop now.

Here is the link to Andy's pictures: http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/store.aspx?p=22667The password is andyman.

So I'm driving the swim team carpool this afternoon and it dawns on me how insensitive I was when I came up with the goodie exchange. I automatically called it a Christmas exchange and involved Christmas stockings. I realized this afternoon that not everyone celebrates Christmas and it was very presumptious of me to do that. I'm sorry if I offended anyone and would like to rename the planned goodie exchange "the goodie exchange". I will also be making official DIS goodie pouches to hang from the fish for any family who wants to participate (in place of the stockings). Again, please accept my apologies if I made anyone feel excluded.

One Month to go!!! :sail:

I'm loving that new smilie! I have the time set on the boards to my time zone, so you were all posting at 4 in the morning my time.

Happy birthday to Andy, and congratulations to John for sleeping well.

Stacie, we celebrate all holidays that involve food or presents. Where I live, there are so many different religions and cultures represented that most people call the Dec-Jan time frame "the winter holidays." Since the whole ship will be decorated for Christmas, it would be really hard to ignore what holiday Disney is promoting! But you were sweet to think of everyone.

Stacie, it was so thoughtful for you to think of the exchange. What ever you call it still count me in:banana: . did you need any money for the collecting(Stockings or pouches) items. I'd be glad to help you out.

I looked at Andy's pictures. He really is a ham. They are all so cute. I would have to buy them all.

Stacie ~ I like the goodie bag idea. I've seen some photos of things hanging from the fish, so I think it's a great idea. It is easy to forget about different cultures and traditions on such a large board.

The professional photos of Andy are great. I love the star Mickey outfit. His eyes look a lot like John's. I'm looking forward to them meeting.

John went with us on a field trip today and didn't take his nap until 3. I fully expect to have trouble tonight. Maybe I should go to bed now...

See everyone in one month!!pirate:

Stacie, goodie bags or stockings whichever way you want to go is fine with me.

Those pictures are so cute. I love the really close up one of him.

Can't wait to meet everyone!!! We will have already had our first dinner onboard in 1month.

Another restful night at our house. :cool1: John slept until almost 6:30. I really wasn't expecting it last night after our busy day. I'm so hoping this is the start of a new sleep pattern.

Hope everyone has a MAGICal weekend!!

:cheer2: Yeah John!!! :cheer2: Two nights in a row!!

We are going to DH's Mom's tonight for supper so she can see Andy. She only lives about 15 miles away but is married to a guy who refuses to go anywhere except McDonald's or his family. It's easier for her if we pack up everything and go there. :confused3

The first swim meet is tomorrow. I'm doing the concession stand again, although I've been promised they'll be people to help me. Not sure what I'm going to do with Andy. I plan on bringing his stroller and maybe his pack n play. There better be others to help or all the little kiddos will be dissapointed because all the sugar will disappear back into its boxes and be toted away.

Kathryn--I didn't have your family down for the goody exchange did you want to be added to the list?

Hope everyone has a good weekend, after tomorrow they'll only be 3 more Saturdays!!!

Yay for two in a row! Hopefully this trend continues for you.

Good job, John!!!! Let your Mommy get some rest!!:cool1: :cool1:

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I don't post very much, we only have dial up at home and it's too slow to do mostly anything. :headache:
I just went through all the posts and I must say all your kids are too cute in their costumes.
Only four weeks from tomorrow. We're very excited!!
We haven't received our papers yet, but our agent told us our room # is gonna be 6050. We are in second seating for dinner.
Are any of you going to decorate your cabin door? I'm trying to figure out how to do it by going through the posts here.
My kids and husband have zero interest in putting together an outfit for pirate night, so will we look out of place if no costume. I read somewhere that they give out bandanas at dinner which will be cool to wear. pirate:

Welcome! You will be just down the hall from us. We are in 6060 and also have late dining. There are lots of people that don't wear a costume for pirate night. You won't be out of place. How old are your kids?

We will do a couple of door magnets. I just need to find the program that I used last time. I printed mine off on card stock and then just used stick on magnet tape for the backs.

My son Aman is 10 and my daugther Kiran is 4. Both are registered in the kids clubs, so hopefully they will like that (I'm hoping alot) and give mum and dad a break!!
You're cardstock idea is a good one. I was thinking of getting them laminated or purchasing that magnetic paper which I have'nt got a clue how to fit into a printer.lol.

I'm going to be kinda close to you all too. We are in 6087!

Bumping us back to page one. This close to the cruise we should always stay on page one. :)
What is everyone up to this weekend? The kids and I just got back from helping at the community ministry food bank. Every year our girl scout service unit goes and helps make Thanksgiving boxes. This year I dragged Jacob along too and he had a good time helping. The kids have to work on their rooms and the play room this weekend and I have to work on the rest of the house. Brad has his final paper due tomorrow night for the class he is taking.

Who else is ready to start packing? :yay: I know it is too early, but that is all I can think about.
