Earlier DME mailing policy?

Leaving 10/14. Got DME evelope yesterday with all the correct information (web-site is wrong). Now the wait for the big packet. Hopefully its right too.

DME sends out a single mailing. It's a regular business envelope with a booklet inside. The booklet includes the tags, the vouchers, and information about what to do. The envelope is the "packet." If there are more than four people in your party, you'll receive multiple envelopes.

So I'm not sure what "big packet" you're waiting for from DME.

I recieved my final package about a week after recieving my DME tags. Inside the envelope is a clear pouch with my itinerary, Hotel voucher,planet hollywood merch and meal voucher and two disney luggage tags. I think thats what you all are waiting for. Hope this helps.

Just got our DME packet today! Traveling Oct 21. Everything is exactly correct on the tags, as well as the return flight info!! This is a first for me....there has always been a little something, usually with the return flights, that has been wrong on my past DME vouchers. How are the rest of you doing that are traveling around this time?? Are you still waiting for your DME stuff?

Our DME tags were bound in the booklet last year with perforation to tear them out. The DME tags we just received, for our October trip, were separate from the booklet.

We got our DME packet today and we leave on Oct. 21st too! Everything was right except they left off the last letter of my DH's name. They spelled it Russel and it should be Russell. Do you think that matters?

I just made DME reservations 2 days ago (9/12) and Member Services told me that they mail out the DME packet 30 days in advance of arrival. We arrive on 10/22, so they are mailing our tickets out now. Good thing I did not wait any longer to make the DME reseravtions - of courseI would have made these reservations a long time ago had we not we been having an internal debate for months on this matter - care rental vs. limo drive vs. DME.

We did DME last year and I thought it was pretty painless. My wife was annoyed that we had to wait about 20 minutes or so for the bus to arrive (for some odd reason, she simply thought the bus would be waiting there for us).
But I thought it sure beat the heck out of dragging all our luggage around the airport (family of 6; we have lots of luggage to lug around ) - and we had no issues receiving our luggage about 3 hours later at the hotel.
I guess this makes us a repeat customer

It shows the correct flight number but airline unknown; from unknown airport and arrival at 12:00 AM (we arrive at 1:25 pm).

My web-site information is all so wrong. I called the reservation number and checked the info. they had. The info was right, they stated that sometimes web-site will put up strange things. So I would call to check what they have on the master computer.

I paid off my trip today, by phone. Before I did that, I went onto the WDW website just to confirm everything, and to have that screen visible when I called CRO to make the final payment. The website told me the same info as it told you -- unknown airline, unknown airport, midnight arrival.

After I made the payment, I called DME directly, which I can do now because our trip is less than 60 days away (DME's "retail" computer apparently doesn't have access to even its own info for travel more than 60 days in the future). I told the very nice CM I needed to update my flight info. In addition to what the website said, I knew that my flight numbers had changed, and my flight times had changed by about 20-30 minutes each. Guess what? DME had my correct, up-to-the-minute flight info, even if the WDW website didn't.

That was very cool to know they were so on top of things.

Thanks! Yes, they are!!!! I'm starting to get into the "better get organized and get everything I need to do accomplished so I can go and have a good time" mode!!!!
