DVDs through security?

We're flying SWA next week, & will be transporting some self-made DVDs (i.e., not professionally made movies). Do I need to have these hand-inspected or will they be fine going through the x-ray? I couldn't find anything on the TSA website. Anybody know?

I can't speak about self made DVD's but last December when flying home I purchased 2 DVD's and they were fine while in my carryon bag. When the TSA searched threw my bag they saw them and took a look at them for a quick second, so not sure if this will help you out in any way.
