DVCers - What is your Disney Dream Job?

I'm thinking that for me the dream job would be as one the piano players at Jellyrolls or a bartender at the Rose and Crown Pub.

I want to work at Castaway Kay. Or in the wedding pavilion. Either would be great! My DH and I want to retire and work CK together.

I would love to work as an internal affairs investigator. DH would love to handle the video/audio production area either in TV promotions or DVC.

I would love anything that involves singing or acting. I guess my first choice would be in one of the groups that perform at the American Adventure - particularly the Voices of Liberty.

My true dream job would be in theater and shows. Course, I would need to be able to sing, dance and act. LOL Might help! That is something I've always been fascinated by. I LOVE seeing Broadway shows when they tour to Atlanta.

My oldest takes ballet and tap, next year we'll add jazz into the mix. She also has a pretty voice. Maybe I'll get to live out my dreams through her, course she is only in Kindergarten! LOL

OMG....I totally could have written this myself!!!!!!!!!

I would love to be the "Official Food Taster" for all the WDW eateries-how cool would that be? :cool1: Of course I would then have to alternate that job with being a tour guide in the parks just to walk off the calories! :teeth:

DH would love to be the captain of The Grand One or Breathless :boat:

OK, I've been inspired. I'd like to be Official Dessert Taster, the ODT in residence. A fulltime sugar high, er, job, at Disney would be just the ticket for me! :Pinkbounc

I'm a branch manager here at home and would love to go there and be a banker inside WDW. I think there is a bank in there- that'd be awesome! I'd also like to be a dancer or even just help with the attractions.

I would love to work in the Haunted Mansion, I think greeting the guests at the door would be a blast! I think my wife would like to vacuum the carpets at the Grand Floridian, she sure loves doing out carpets at home!!!

I have every intention of becoming a chef at one of the Disney

restaurants....in about 10 years. Another year and a half of

culinary school, then eight years until my youngest graduates

from high school, and, God willing, we will be making the move.

DH can sit home collecting his retirement check from the Coast

Guard, and I will be creating fabulous food!

I'm with you brandip22. I would love to see the take from an average day. I do the deposits for a major department store and I just cant imagine how much $$$ comes through the parks each day!!! DH would like to work in Imagineering. He likes all that techincal mumbo-jumbo. The water screens in Fantasmic have really got his wheels turning on how he can do something like it at home on the pond behind our house. Our neighbors will hate us!!!

1- Bus Driver
2- Bell Services @ OKW
3- Security
4- Landscaper
5- Anything, just so I can be there, rather than here.

I saw on a tv special that some folks actually LIVE on Castaway Key. I thought about this but I guess it would get lonely after a bit...

I want to do DVC sales or work at either Goods-to-Go at Old Key West or the shop that sells the Hawaiian clothes at the Poly. This last one would let me look out at that great pool/lake all day!

PS: I only want to work part-time so I have lots of time for fun!

I would love to be a DVC Guide or work in one of the resorts

My DH wants to drive the Friendship boats that run from EPCOT, to the resorts to MGM

My dream jobs--

One of the ladies in Garden Tea Room in the Grand Floridian-- perfect hours, lovely atmosphere, guests come to relax so it's nice and slow-paced!

Well now...in my dreams I would rather be driving a bus at WDW than the school bus I've been driving for 12 years now. I have my doubts about the pay being comparable, though. But having the moms and dads onboard to make sure their kids behave would sure make the job a lot easier! Or did I see a debate about this recently...some parents let their kids run wild when they're on vacation, too!

DH would enjoy GM's Test Track as he is in the auto industry, or working at his favorite Pirates of the Carribean. And DS would make a fantastic Goofy!

I would love to be one of the costumed characters. Winnie the Pooh would be great! Except I read somewhere that Disney was having problems with their employees getting lice and the body suits underneath not being cleaned enough- EWWWWW!:bounce:

I want to be the person who sits and says "WELCOME HOME!" when you walk in the building.:p I think that would be a great job! Kind of like being a greeter at Walmart, only the surroundings would be better. I need a job with no stress, since I have been teaching for 30 years. I could also work at DVC telling people about DVC, or work after-hours changing lightbulbs;) DH would either be a bus driver or work at the golf courses.

I think I would like to be a character escort - not inside the hot costume but definitely making magic moments!:wizard:

<------------ See picture to the left over there. Dream job.
