DVCers - What is your Disney Dream Job?

I would be happy to be a CM in one of the gift shops in any of the Disney resorts. I think it would be great fun to meet and talk to people from all over the country and the world! I wouldn't want to work in any of the park gift shops....especially any of the ones on Main Street after the fireworks...YIKES!! Wayyyy too many people at once!

The other job I'd love is to drive the boats from POR to DTD and back again..."Welcome aboard, watch your step!!"

Sigh.....wishful thinking!

Sammy

I always tell my friends I want a job driving the Jungle Cruise boat:

1. It's in the Magic Kingdom.
2. The boat steers itself.
3. I'd get to crack bad jokes all day long and get paid for it.
4. It's in the Magic Kingdom!

Nothing makes me happier than digging in the dirt!
So how much better would it be to dig in the dirt at MK or Epcot?
I love the plants and design work that is done and would love to be there at night planting and digging away!!

I have always wanted to drive a Disney Bus. DW would like to work in costuming or as a seamstress at Disney's MGM Studio's.

Maybe someday our dreams will come true.

Bob D.

Gotta be Bartender at OKW. Just have to keep me away from the "turtle Krawls"

DVC guide - no doubt about it. Second choice would be CM helping people get those dates and rooms they want -or front desk at OKW so I can say Welcome Home and hopefully get everyone's stay off to a good start.

1. diver at Living Seas
2. animal trainer at AK
3. special event planner (concerts, Food and Wine, etc.)
4. monorail driver
5. DVC guide
6. boat pilot
7. quality control
8. just about anything!!!

DH would love to drive one of the boats between OKW and DTD! I would love to be a DVC guide!

There are 2 things that really appeal to me....would love to sell DVC (my DH sells "regular"timeshare!!) or work in concierge with guests to work that Disney Magic!!

Director of Public Safety. In my far-fetched dream I would knit the Fire-Fighting, Security, Medical, Emergency Preparedness and Emergency/Contigency Response departments into a tightly integrated unit ready to meet the anticipated and unplanned needs of our guests and CMs.

That or nightly sanitation worker!

I would be a natural for dvc sales, I have already sold a few with my enthusiasm for the program.

I think it would be dreamy to sell balloons on main street, but im sure that would get boaring quick.

I need to work with people, I smile alot anyway (probably because my next disney vacation is always around the corner)
I like to solve problems and help people so maybe guest services somewhere, or some type of hotel management position would be good for me.

I guess lots of people want my job. When I retire I want to drive the boat from OKW to DD also. I would consider driving the tramps at the parking lots also. I would not let all those late comers hop on.

I think
1) Marketing Department
2) Mayor (or Mayoress in my case) of Main Street
3) Boat Pilot in Epcot

You all know there are seasonal jobs available:rolleyes:

I would love to work as a groundskeeper. They could assign me to any area of the park and I would be satisfied. I think WDW's landscaping is next to genius. Magnolias, slash pines, ect. I could be outside all day!
