DVCers - What is your Disney Dream Job?

Well, MK Resort Monorail Driver would do it for me. Just to spend a little time with all those families who are so excited to "sit up front". Plus, my DW says I've been going in circles for years ....

I'd love to do statistical analysis. See and get dirty with the REAL data. Discover what the optimal distribution of Fastpass tickets are, where and when can we place "events" to keep lines moving. See what the relationship between discounts and spending and profit is. How often buses should run to meet the goals of efficiency, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Course, that's what I do for a living, just not theme park related.

Well my dream Disney job would be quality control. I would want to spend my days in the parks riding the rides, eating the food, and interacting with guests to make sure everything is up to snuff. Something tells me that isn't a real job, but they should create it just for me!

I'd like to be one of the streetmosphere people at MGM. Lots of bright red lipstickand crazy clothes!

I wanna write software for Disney!!!

Wanna help them make the CMs more able to serve the guests better and faster. Or maybe get into automation systems for some of the attractions.

I'd like to help design pavilions that combine rides with educational content. It's close to what I do now as a corporate instructional designer--but more fun!

I would like to be an operator/driver on the monorail. I wanted to do that at 4 years old and still want to at 34.

For years now, I've been the person all my family and friends come to when they need any advice and info. on WDW -- trip planning, where to eat, when to go, which WDW resort to stay in lol. I keep saying I'd love to be a professional WDW itinarary coordinator. You know, help guests with scheduling their days while at WDW, set up PS's, etc. So technically, I guess my dream job would be to work Concierge at BC or GF. Isn't that pretty much what they do lol? (have yet to stay concierge so only have an idea how it works - never seen it in action) Since I love to do that stuff anyway, I'd definetly love to be at WDW all the time and get paid to do it:teeth:

Too bad to try and get that job I'd have an hour and a half drive to work everyday:rolleyes: I guess I'll just have to settle for being a guest and not a CM. Not a hard job to be the guest though;)

I think I would love to work in the Haunted Mansion. Ahhh....air conditioning and you are not expected to smile all the time :teeth:

With my luck I would end up at the raceway..sweating and sucking exhaust fumes every day :(

I'd like to work on their web-site... That team really needs some help.

Where exactly is their site managed? Is the team even located in Florida or is it managed out of California? Other?

Ohhh. I forgot the 'streetmosphere' people. I could do that. Or work in the Haunted Mansion. I'm multi-talented....I would do anything. Dh, although he has said he wants to pilot the pontoon boats, also would like to work in landscaping. He's always working in the yard at home. That would be a terrific place for him. Great ideas!!!

..... so I can say things " Hey moron, I guess you've never used in-door plumbing !!" or " Just how exactly did you expect those three trees worth of toilet paper you used to actually make it thru the pipes" or " Maybe you should try sitting rather then squatting before you spew last nites tex-mex dinner".

KNWViking

I am ROFLMAO:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I would like to be a wedding planner and work with brides to be. Of course, that means dealing with mothers of the bride which can be a nightmare so maybe not. My second choice would be a DVC guide.

DH would love to work at any golf course or probably any job outside.

The job I would want is BTMRR - I like the costumes.

The job I would never want - Small World (for all the obvious reasons!)

Hubby would probably want to be a barber on Main Street.

I would probably want to be a character. I'm extremely short. I think once I read I meet the requirement for ducks and mice. LOL
I think I'd be a great Minnie.

I also think I'd do a good job at Alice, but being I'm already 32 I don't think that would work.

My true dream job would be in theater and shows. Course, I would need to be able to sing, dance and act. LOL Might help! That is something I've always been fascinated by. I LOVE seeing Broadway shows when they tour to Atlanta.

My oldest takes ballet and tap, next year we'll add jazz into the mix. She also has a pretty voice. Maybe I'll get to live out my dreams through her, course she is only in Kindergarten! LOL

Back when I was in high school and college I wanted to go into animation. After two years of college I dropped out. Bad me! Doesn't much matter anyway, today I sure would be hard pressed to find a job at Disney doing this!

Imagineer or DVC sales.

A planner/guide would be cool too, "Group, I know we've been to EPCOT every day this week, but we have to ride Mission space one more time to get the full experience." :D

I would like to be one of the dive masters at the Living Seas Pavilion. I would love to take tourists on the Aqua Tour and Dive Quest Tours. I would not even mind having to spend time cleaning the artificial coral in the tank.
