Dry hands help needed

My hands were so dried and cracked I had to go to a dermatologist. She suggested Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. It works wonders.

My DD's hands get dry with cold air and feel like sand paper and this cream works fast and leaves them smooth, it's worth trying :thumbsup2

My Dr told me to try Aquafor... I found it to be expensive, repackaged vaselline. Sticky and overpriced.

Thanx for the suggestions. Right now I'm using my curel with a pair of cotton gloves. Its helped quite a bit. The only problem with wearing gloves at night for me is if my hands get too warm or uncomfortable then I'll take them off in my sleep and won't even wake up while I'm doing it. I did see a pair of Stanley work gloves in the tool aisle tosday which are thinner than regular work gloves and just 10 bucks. But now the hands take a backseat to the stoamch virus working its way through my system.

This week has got to leave me alone. Just can't get a break anywhere it seems.

I used to work in shipping, and yeah the cardboard really does suck the moisture out of your hands!

I LOVE Burt's Bees products, so I'll second the Burt's. My husband and I both have problems with our hands getting so dry they crack and bleed, so what we use is the Burt's Bees hand SALVE. It does feel greasy for awhile until it soaks in, so it's not a "rub it on real quick and get back to work" thing, but it really works well. I think my advice would be to get the Burt's hand cream and use that throughout the day, but use the salve at night to really condition your hands.

Best wishes finding a solution. Cracked hands are a drag.

I would work on finding a thin pair of gloves for work, that will solve most of your problem. You might want to try using golf gloves. They aren't all that warm and they move with you so it would be easy to use the box cutters.

I love using the nutrogena Norwegian Formula with white cotton gloves over night. I also recently started taking 3000 milligrams of Flaxseed oil a day and have noticed a great improvement in my skin.

not sure what you can use for gloves for work, how about garden gloves with some kind of traction on it for holding the box cutter and boxes. They would be thinner then work gloves.

I also use the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand CREAM, but only at night because I think it's a bit greasy. It's on sale this week at CVS, buy one, get one 50% off. I use it every night regardless of whether my hands are dry or not.
