Drop Off

Next month, we'll be heading back to Orlando and I will be going to IoA for a day (first time) while da wife and kid go to DisneyQuest.

Since there are unreliable transportation options (Mears) from the WDW resorts I would prefer to have her drop me off and pick me up at IoA.

Their web site says they have a drop off area, do you have to pay for parking to get to that point? Are there places to drop off and pick up that are close to the entrance to the park without getting caught in a lot of congestion or having to pay?

WHEN WE WENT LAST AUGUST WE USED MEARS. THEY DROPPED US OFF RIGHT AT THE FOOT OF SOME STEPS. A LOT OF BUSES AND CABS PARK THERE. I SAW A LOT OF PEOPLE GETTING OUT OF CABS. THE STAIRS GO RIGHT UP TO WHERE THE MOVING SIDEWALK IS. YOU DON'T HAVE FAR TO GO. WE WERE RIGHT AT CITYWALK. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY.

You'll see a sign for Passenger Drop Off near the bridge from the aprking lots to CityWalk. There's no charge.Î

It's the ONLY one out there! I'm sure now that Universal's got a whole resort area thing going you'll have competition soon. But thank you so much for blazing the trail for those of us who will be traveling outside the "world" while in Orlando.

the best place for people to drop you off is the valet parking. it is just next to city walk

bring the hulk on!
