O.K. I'm not sure where to post this, but here it goes. My parents are going to WDW at the same time as us. Is it wrong for me to book my children and DH in my parents room "IF" they offer the free dinnig promo.

I got a great rate on a garden view POLY room, and it is better than free dinning. Is it o.k. to put more people in my parents room to get some of my family free dinning (everyone, but me). Our dates are the exact same, but of course my children and DH would be staying at the POLY with me. Would I just send them over there to get checked in?

Will this even work?

I would think that would be fine. Their keys would be to the room with your parents, but would allow all the perks that go with a Disney hotel. Since we have to get two rooms wherever we stay, I had comtemplated getting one room w/dining and one room without.......and I mean paying for the dining......and then just sharing the plan. But, I think some months ago someone said when you are at the table you can not pay for someone's meal with your dining plan. Well, in the fall of 2005 we did that at R&C one night. My cousin joined our grand gathering, and we had some extra meals between the 12 of us in our party, and we treated him. No one said anything, and I never even thought it would be wrong. But, I've wondered if we could try the two room thing. It was just too much food when we all had the dining plan. If it was wrong, we would be fine. Sounds like you would be too. I think it would be fine for you to do it that way. JMHO:goodvibes .

The two things I would think *might* cause an issue is that your DH and kids would put you over the max limit of people allowed in the room (not sure if Poly is 4 or 5 or how many kiddos you have). Also, DH will be the 3rd adult in that room so you would have to pay the extra adult fee, I think around $25 per night. I totally understand about wanting to get the free dning though so it may be worth it to pay the $25 if that is the only obstacle!:goodvibes

5 and an infant at the Polynesian. And it would be $25.00 plus tax for the 3rd adult. :)

Alright, new dilema, my parents want to stay at the WL. Is it still o.k. to pay for the kids in their package, and have them stay with us?

I think it probably isn't a big deal, but am not sure.
