Back to the room I went to wake up the troops as we had lots to do today. By the way had I shown you our stash...
I will have you know that nothing came home with us. (not sure if im supposed to be proud about that or not LOL)

Friday- Castaway Cay Double Dip Day part 2
After we filled our bellies, we decided it was time to head back and get the boys from
We found that it was lunchtime for them, and so we went to get them from the lunch area.
P had made some friends, of the opposite sex, he was sitting with about 5 girls... unfortunately by the time I got my camera out he had got up and cleaned his plate. When asked why he was sitting with all girls, he said thats who he got stuck with, as a smile formed.. YA RIGHT!
J on the other hand was with boys and there was no talking for that boy, he was all business... knee deep into his lunch
Once they were done, we found we were just in time to join the crab races. (Mozart you can take a nap now, I know this isnt your cup of Beer!)
Well not just in time we had about 5mins to wait and you would have thought it was 5years for the boys... they started fighting and getting cranky.. I was about to take them back to the ship for a nap but I didnt want to miss anything LOL
We were able to get a crab and name him...
1st option was Mickey but seems someone from our cruise thread had already nabbed that name

Our crab was #8... lucky number 8?
Now their nice and energetic

We made it into the 2nd heat but lost. The boys had fun though. Once the crab race was over, we decided to make our way back to the family side of the beach and hit the water. It was hot and we all needed a cool off.
I bet you Es gonna go snorkeling .
After a while of sitting in the water I decided I wanted to hit Heads Up Bar. I hadnt on our last stop and though I have to at least have 1 drink from there. Called the boys in to see if they wanted to go with me. They did, Surprise surprise. So off we go.
We took advantage of the emptiness and got some photo ops in.
Obligatory hammock shot of the feet (its a DIS Boards standard, its in the rule of starting a trip report, Its right before though shalt not pee in the Mickey Pool. Apparently no one reads after the 1st rule LOL)

We actually ended up seeing E out there snorkeling through it
it started to get gray and cloudy, after this pic we tried to flag E down to come in
We wanted to go for a bike ride and I didnt want to go alone with the boys, thought it would be fun for all of us to do, and a great memory. We FINALLY got snorkel man to come in. And off we went to find the bike stand.
Once we check in and found right size bikes we took off to find the tower I had read about here on the DIS (where else lol)

On our bike ride it started raining but not bad and we all were fine with getting a lil wet, being that we had just got out of the water. So we kept looking for the tower.

Nope still no plane, but makes a great photo op to send home and make people jealous
We finally found the tower and climbed to the top to get pics, unfortunately no one was around to get a group shot of us so I just got the boys.

When we got back to the mainland of the island we found that most people had headed back to the ship due to the rain. We decided to stick it out. Since it had stopped raining we kept our place in the sand and headed back into the water.

Looks like you guys had a real full day out there! I wish our short day on CC had been the second day not the first. I hate cutting it short to go back and PACK (and just the depressing feeling when you hit CC that this is the last day.) I really liked having CC at the beginning of our cruise as opposed to the end. I think I'm going to mark that on my comment card next time...

**have to say last night I answered a bunch of post, didnt want yall to think i was ignoring you and woke up this am to see its not there.. so made a note to myself, dont do things online while half asleep.. its ALMOST as bad as drunk dialing/texting.. all Im saying**
Once we got back to our spot on the beach the boys jumped into the water and had the whole play sturckture to themselvs, basically. E went out there with them (and no he didnt go snorkling for once LOL) I pulled up a nice chair into the water and just relaxed... listened to the waves and enjoyed every last moment of that awesome day.
E and P put a lil peer presure on J to jump from the play area and before long he was a jumping FOOL. P kept trying to do the rope climb but siad it hurt his hands so one time was good enough for him.

After we had been their a while the worst sound in my whole life sounded... YUP the horn to head back to the boat. You could tell everyone of us was hating this part, but we packed up and made our way back to our big beautiful home on the sea. I swear you could see everyone that was by us dragging their feet.

Best Vacation EVER photo (dont mind E thats his best ever face, and smile face, and OMG face, no way face etc.. thats what happends when you marry a marine its in their contract NOT to have any facial exprecions LOL)
Once we dropped our stuff in the room we knew we had to get ready for tonights show and dinner, so I hopped in 1st, and came out to see the boys had made a run up to the top deck for pizza and hot dogs. Arent they nice to get me... NOTHING oh well more room for dinner.
Took some time to get pics of how messy we got our room over a week. It was so organized when we 1st unpacked, and by now it was like a tornade came through.
See all those magnets... those were the daily ones that I changed out.. ON TOP of having the OUTside of the door complete covered.. can we say OCD?
Hope there's no unmentionables being mentioned
the top of the steamer trunk 8 pairs of sunglasses were housed there.. why 8..duh we have 2 eyes LOL no we brought our spares incase we lost a pair
After taking pics, I started getting ready in between doing some slight packing. Made a mental note that next time we will not be bringing as much stuff. When the boys were ready and E had his chance to clean up, we all pictched in and did some quick packing. Figured if we did some now it wouldnt be as bad after the show. HA
E realizes its time to get a move on as the show is starting and oh look at that were gonna be late again... SO off we run. Glad we kept it consistant all week, luckly this time its not so hard for me in jeans and flops and not too "hydrated" LOL. J and I went to save seats (Ya ya ya I know no saving) P and E ran to get drinks. They got back to the theater just a few mins after the lights had gone out and it was pitch dark but they had found us in the usual spot top right as your looking at the stage. E and I pulled out the secret sauce and juiced up our drinks, while watching the show.. it was kind of like a recap of all the people we had seen during the week. I thought it was cute.

If you listen closely you can hear me laughing hysterically. (By the way, sorry for the horrible editing, windows movie maker has been giving me a hard time so this was the best I could do without it shutting down on my ever 2 seconds.)
The boys still today act out the ventrilaquest act. I dont know how many times I have heard I LOOOOOVEEEEE OOOOORRRRAAANNNGEEE, BUT I dont get sick of it, they take me back to our happy place LOL. After the show I ran back to the room to pack some more. Told E and the boys I would meet them for dinner. I got about half of it done and realized I need to make my way up to Animator's Palate as dinner had already started. I got there just as drinks were being ordered so not bad. In time to get a soda to water down.
J got a lil sleepy waiting for dinner so our server GiGi made him right at home by giving him a table cloth to lean on and cover him with.
Igor (HA im such a school kid laughing at saying his name LOL) Started some magic for our table.
For dinner we had a few things...
started with a soup (cant remember if it was liked or not? nor can I remember what it was LOL)
Then had the spinch dip (I know I loved this! E did too!)
E got a steak of some sort
I got the chicken? Duck? some type of bird LOL
Then came the parade of servers, and chefs with the flaming baked Alaskas. This was fun as our section cheered on our servers and they came over after for hugs from all the kids.
Then they snapped back into action as it was DESSERT time. Of course we wanted to try the Baked Alaska, I had never had it. I also got 2 others.. well I made E get one so I didnt look like the lil piggy that I am.

It was then time to say our good byes. We gave Gigi and Igor their tips just incase we were late for breakfast and didnt make in time. This was the only part of the dinner I didnt like... Gigi our main serve went on and on about how to rate them on the rate/review questioner thingy (there I go being descriptive again) I almost wanted to mark them lower for doing this. But didnt want to ruin it for Igor (LOL) more on this later though.
E went back to the room to finish packing, and was back up in the Atrium to meet with me with in 15mins. HMMM that was fast, he said it was all taken care of.. OH joy cant wait to see what those bags look like LOL He put them out for our room steward and we were the 2nd ones all ready to be kicked off the ship.
NEXT UP: Shutters has nothing on me, Do we book or dont we rebook?

lolOH it was, now we gave eachother a gift for mothers and fathers day to get a massage were hooked (well I always was LOL)
it was so peacefull in the am alone, let me gain my thoughts before starting each crazy day.. also allowed me to wake up and over come the hangover (or keep drinking to not allow it to come into play lol)I love your early morning pictures when no one else is around. EXACTLY.. trying to finish this one up in time to start a pre trippy But with next week going to LA to see a friend, the 4th we are going to San Francisco (I need a getaway before I hurt people at work LOL) theres not much time left. reaDrea - it looks like you have finally pipped me to the post - and finished your trippie before I finish mine - I still have 2 days to do from the cruise and 2 days back at the parks. ....will I ever get it finished remains a mystery...
I really loved your last day - apart from the packing bit - thats alwasys horrible. We did the bike ride on CC and even though I hadn't been on a bike for about 30 years I really enjoyed it. I am so sad that your cruise (AND AMAZING TRIP REPORT) is coming to an end

E met back up with us and he J and I went to to Shutters, P went off with his new friends for one last time in the club. J didnt feel like going. At shutters well that was a mad house also. We had purchased an 8x10package, and a 6x8 package. Along the way we got some pics that we didnt want to lose in the shuffle but now it was down to the nitty gritty. It didnt take long for us to deceide really, all the pics I looked bad in got trashed, had rolls or double chins were out. Pretty much only left a handful.
But not wanting to lose any moment I deceided to document the other 500 pics we DIDNT get by taking pics of them. They all turned out bad cuz of the lighting and flash etc but I have them and in a nice slideshow to boot. LOL. A few ladies around me said omg thats a great idea and before long they were joining in on that. E eventually got up he said he wasnt going down for copyright infringments he has a military carreer to look after LMAO. Actually he and J were going to catch the good bye show in the atrium.

When I met up with them, I THEN got in line with all the other people that waited till the last minute to rebook *YEAH* happy dance. While in line I was able to get a few pics. Not great considering I had pics I was holding, "water bottles" and soda cups. OH OK Ill admit a lil intoxicated too.. WHAT it was my last day of crusing! LOL.
While in line I saw many peeps from our cruise thread. Even met one that hadnt met before all WEEK. So we chated while waiting our turn to drop more money on the mouse. Once it was my turn, I dropped to the seat and said cheapest cruise ya got next yr. We knew we wanted to cruise again, BUT with E's oh so lovely DEPENDABLE schedual we knew better then to just pick a date, so give us the cheapest and if it ends up working GREAT lol. IF not we knew we could change it. SO we got the Sept 26th 2009 Eastern a year from the time we got on the boat this time perfect, YET we didnt want the boys to miss ANY more school anymore (the fitting in homework is a drag on vacation both for them and us LOL, but we would play it by ear.
Once that was done we walked over to the center of the atrium by the escalators and finished watching the Goodbye skit thingy. P found us and we all watched it together. Then we walked back to the room, feeling we had the greatest vacation together.

Before I forget we had 2 towel animals

We got the boys in bed and E saw that they were having something in Diversions, so he said lets go (which surprized me cuz he's normally the one to call it a night.) I looked at him then the boys and told him to go ahead since they were out of their clubs and in bed. He said they will be fine here, P dont answer the door we have our key. P was fine with that got to be in charge and be the babysitter to a sleeping J. I hesitated long enough to fill up my glass with "water" and off we went.
We got there a few minutes after it started and missed the begining of the crews lil skit/song. Basically someone comes out sings a sentence about what/who they are and has some type of "movement" to go with it. Mix that up with a lot of drunk adults and you have us laughing uncontrollably.
After it was over, I talked E into walking the top deck for a romantic moonlight stroll. Saw a bunch of others doing this too. I dont remember us saying much but talking about the day I believe. It was on the way back to the room that I told him I was glad we did this, and he said me too. Thanks for all your hard work and planning. (ya I about fell on the floor) After he picked me back up, we walked to our cabin, where it was then I realized CRAP... all the door magnets need to come down LOL... where am I going to put them.
Once I got that fiasco figured out I put away anything else that was left that we didnt need for tmrw in one of the 12 (not a typo lol)bags we had left. Kissed both of the boys that were asleep, and got into bed with E. I then proceeded to tell him, I was to excited to sleep cuz tmrw would be the start of our 3 days at WDW! Thats right the fun doesnt stop when we get off this boat.... or DOES IT?
NEXT UP: Our ride ditched us, shall we hitch hike to Mickey's House?
But not wanting to lose any moment I deceided to document the other 500 pics we DIDNT get by taking pics of them. They all turned out bad cuz of the lighting and flash etc but I have them and in a nice slideshow to boot. LOL. A few ladies around me said omg thats a great idea and before long they were joining in on that. E eventually got up he said he wasnt going down for copyright infringments he has a military carreer to look after LMAO. Actually he and J were going to catch the good bye show in the atrium.

When I met up with them, I THEN got in line with all the other people that waited till the last minute to rebook *YEAH* happy dance. While in line I was able to get a few pics. Not great considering I had pics I was holding, "water bottles" and soda cups. OH OK Ill admit a lil intoxicated too.. WHAT it was my last day of crusing! LOL.
While in line I saw many peeps from our cruise thread. Even met one that hadnt met before all WEEK. So we chated while waiting our turn to drop more money on the mouse. Once it was my turn, I dropped to the seat and said cheapest cruise ya got next yr. We knew we wanted to cruise again, BUT with E's oh so lovely DEPENDABLE schedual we knew better then to just pick a date, so give us the cheapest and if it ends up working GREAT lol. IF not we knew we could change it. Omg Drea, I love your TR! Lol, never been on a Disney cruise but went on a Mexican Riviera one last March; there's a pic of me still on my camera of me copping a feel of a statue outside the theatre ...a strawberry daquiri MAY have been involved......alcohol + cruise=

We were woken up by that RAT telling us there was lots to do today, but really he was hiding the fact that he was kicking us off his ship. He was just MEAN lol. So I got up 1st and started to get ready. Next was E. I took pics of the boys one last time enjoying there beds on the ship

While I was doing my hair I turned on the tv to see ya were were docked, there was a beautiful sunrise happening and some funny ship parked in front of us
The boys got ready and we did a last check of the room to make sure we had everything. We found our room steward, and gave him his tip, told him he did a fantabulous job and we loved him and what he did for us. (his name... no clue I forget) I also had a box that I was leaving with one of our cruise meet tread peeps that was doing a back to back (ya you can say it.. JEALOUS!) I put their cabin number on it and asked if he could take it to them when he had a chance, which he said was no prob. It was our blow up rafts, shovel and pail toys. I knew we would just throw them away (got them for a $1 so no real loss if so) But when I found out she was doing a back to back, asked her if she knew a family that wanted them, she was happy to pass them along and I was glad they would get another use out of them.
We made our way to the elevator for one last ride up, hey look its that cute lil Cuban kid we picked up
Breakfast was at Animators Palate (this is what kind of pic you get after carrying a billion bags with you
Tonya and gang were already at our table it was pretty somber through the whole place

While we were sitting at the table I started filling out my survey. I tried to mention my peeps that helped us by name, and answer everything as good as could be as fast as could be. There wasnt room to write too much so I did what I could to make sure people that made our trip a dream come true got the recognition! .. Like our room hostess that I cant remember now LOL
Today GiGi and Igor were all over getting us our food asap. No time to chit chat like normal. I believe the boys got some kind of pancake or waffle thing

When we had coffee, we all finished the kalua with a toast of having a great vacation. Tonya and Mike thanked us for letting them "crash" our vacation, and we told them we were glad they did it was so much fun with them, and we know the boys enjoyed having friends already once on board.
apparently this pic is from the night before LOL cuz Im wearing something different the next day (this is what happens when you dont take notes and drag out your trip report for MONTHS LOL))
I found it funny that all the dinners were slow as molases, but todays breakfast was like wham, bam, thank you mame'. I felt like I didnt have time to chew. Even E said he was holding onto his plate incase they were coming around to take it from him and he wasnt done LOL
Once we had finished we figured it was time to get a move on, no need to drag on the inevitable. So we again thanked our servers, and got them for pics with the boys

We then walked towards the atrium it felt so slow and sad.. like doing the walk of shame or something LOL. Everyone around us though was doing it too. I know I spotted a few adults clinging to railings with their kids telling them to knock it off. As we got to the atrium we saw the saddest site
So we posed infront of it (see wearing something different LOL)
Then we made our way across the gangplank. J was already getting tired so E carried him. I have to say this was a smooth way to leave the ship. We were on a RCCL 3day before and it took HOURS to get off the ship. I was worried this was how it would be for us and that the boys would be dragging by the time we got off but this was easy and the only things hard was actually picking up your feet to leave the ship.

Once we were in the area to collect our baggage we found a kid that grabbed all of our stuff and whisked us through customs so fast (again much quicker then that RCCL one we took, and we had less baggage then and it was just the 2 of us.
Its when we got outside that things went from BAD to WORSE. We found a spot to unload, and looked around for our Limo. Tonya and I had surprized the boys by deceiding to get a limo to take us from the Port to the Pop. I had done it online and printed out the reservation number and everything. So there we waited and waited and.. waited some more.
Finally I called FL Tours and got an answering machine. So I tried back. Nothing, finally got another number from a driver and called that and got someone, gave him my name and he said I dont have anything for you.. WHAT I reserved this MONTHS ago. I have a reservation number let me give you that. He tries it and nothing. NOW im flamming mad, I told him I booked this online and you have nothing how do you run a business like that. He tells me I should have called him ... (now in hindsite ya I should have to confirm I guess. BUT seeing as I got a reservation #, I wouldnt have done that with any other company. I didnt for the hotel, car rental and airfare but oh well im off on a tangent now)
So the guy proceeds to tell me we dont have limos big enough to fit 8people and luggage what. You advertise it on your website though. He tells me thats why you need to call and confirm, NO YOU should have confirmed with me. By now I have raised my voice and Im pissed. He tells me he can get a van out to us in an hour, for the same price as the limo (granted we didnt pay ahead Per their website that was the only good things going for us at this point) I said so we have to wait later then when we would have been picked up in a VAN and not a LIMO for the same amount. ... thats crap (I used another choice favorite word of mine, not very dis like!) He then said I dont appriciate being talked to like this and being harrassed and hung up on me.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
E and Mike find us another guy willing to take us to the POP so they get that arranged. Mike says we should call them back and tell them to come pick us up and then just leave with this guys..I didnt want to but since everyone else was in for it.. why not... Great idea (ya i know not very mature but we were pissed) So I call back and tell them fine come pick us up we need a ride. I get a quote that he will be there in 1 hour.
Im feeling like a big jerk at this time cuz I said I would get this taken care of here we have no ride, im upset and frustrated, the cruise is over, and were in the hot heat going NO WHERE. Tonya, Mike and E all tell me its not your fault dont worry it doesnt ruin our time, the guys dont have to drive and we have a ride to WDW. No harm no foul. We'll all take care of FL Tours when we get home.
While making small talk with our new drived we found out that he has heard of FL Tours doing this to a lot of people in fact the people he had just prior to us had the same thing happen to them. NICE!
Thank god we didnt tell the boys about our limo, they would have really been bummed. Its bad enough I was for them.
Before we start throwing things into the van, we see by now the boys have passed out and this is what came to mind
