Sounds like you are still al little peeved about the FL Tours debacle. I don't blame you a bit! What a bummer to have it end that way, but then again I know it didn't really cloud your cruise memories (since as you know we were stranded afterwards too).

Love your pics of a pic. I wish I had done that but we had issues in Shutters and I think by the time we saw you guys I just wanted to get out of there (we had lost our package card, and even though we brought our pictures down to show them what pics we had (and we were honest and brought them ALL!) They could look at our onboard account and see what we had paid for but still would not allow us to have any more pics without our card. Thank goodness Ron did find it under the nightstand or next to it or something eventually or I woul dhave been REALLY mad if they had not let me take any of the rest of the package I had paid for....

That is priceless! Sorry your trip ended on a sour note - then crud at WDW, oh my. I guess we should have waited until the last morning to tip our steward. We left her almost double the suggested amount, and there was no animal, no turn down, nothin' after that. In fact we saw her in the hall and she gave us a dirty look.

When we last left off, we had been kicked to the curb by the Disney Cruise gang, ditched by our Limo driver, but found a nice guy willing to give a a ride to the POP. 3 more days of fun was about to be had... or was it?

The boys found the drive to WDW so exciting.... all of them.

Soon we saw another great sight

Coming from Cali you dont realize how large WDW really is. I can do California adventures and Dland in a day. I can get a room across the street from the parks and walk there if I wanted to, we dont we just go for the day and drive home LOL. But im saying I could if I wanted too. But driving around the property you get the idea WOW it really is its own WORLD

Next stop was the POP

We got checked in and saw a few people from our Cruise doing the same. Luckily they had our room available for us. They asked if we wanted to be next to Tonya and of course we did why not keep the party going LOL.We were in the 90's building, far from the main building and food court but close to a pool and across the parking lot we could walk to catch the buses. Not bad.So we threw our stuff into our room and the plan was to relax a bit then head to Dowtown Disney (DTD). But 1st photo ops.

We deceided to check out the POP

J LOVED playdo so this was right up his alley

But now we started to hear some whining from P. Its hot, Im tired, Im Hungry bla bla bla, so like any good mom I turned around told him to be quiet and I didnt want to hear a peep from him again. And YAAA that worked for about 5mins... if that

So we kept moving around the hotel

Well after enough whining we went and got on a bus to DTD. Thought we would get something to eat at Planet Hollywood since I had a coupon for $15 worth of free food. Thought we would do an appitizer and a drink then walk around. WELL as soon as we got there P started crying that he didnt feel good. So E had enough and thats when he felt him and ya he felt hot.. but not like October in Florida hot like HOT HOT, so he felt J to compair and ya P was surely hot. So he said he would take him back to the hotel and give him some meds and let him rest. *yes the guilt then came in on what a bad mommy I was... it went away quick though since there was plenty to do in DTD with J LOL*

Then he found his meca... the LEGO store (which I dont know why he made such a big deal out of, we have one here at home LOL)

How could I say no to letting him play for FREE go for it

We did some window shopping, we went into the stores but just looked around well except he did the sweetest thing, said since P got sick he wanted to use his souveniour money to buy him a present. He got him a mini football with mickey and gang on it. (got to love moments like that!

Then we hit Goofy's Candy Shop OMG.... HEAVEN.... So I was talked into letting him get something and he was nice enough to say you can too mom .. thanks LOL

So he found the make your own sugar thing

He made me get one of every color and then some for him

I got a Rocky Road brownie. It was then we wanted to eat them but I pulled out the mommy card and said lets go get some real food 1st then this is dessert. For my boy that loves to eat this was no prob. He happily oblidged.

So after pulling the mommy card (its like in soccer getting a red card LOL) we went off to Planet Hollywood. I saw that you could catch a boat to the other side of DTD, and KNEW J would love that. We got in line and caught the next boat. OH but that was after he begged me to let him ride the train.. seriously that lil train... we are going to go to the parks and ride tons of rides and you want to get on that lil train that goes in a circle.. REALLY. yes really. Being that we were on a "date" I said yes. I mean really how could I say no to that cute face doing the puppy dog thing after he just bought his sick older brother a gift? I couldnt so off he went to ride the $20train.. OK it wasnt $20 but Im sure it was pretty close to it lol

After he rode around 3times in a circle on the train we went and got in line for the boat to take us to the other side of DTD

we had the whole boat to ourselves

Since it was just the 2 of us we had no wait to get a table for dinner, there were a few larger parties that you could tell were a lil peaved we just walked in and got sat.

As we walked in I tried sharing some of the paraphanillia (sp?) with J but most of it was before his time LOL. There was a few things he did get though and some he even pointed out to me.

I ordered a sandwich, figured it would be good to take half back to E since he was at the room and when I called said to bring him back something, P was still sleep.

J got spagetti his fav or one of LOL

I asked the couple across from us if they would take a pic of us on our "date"

We also had a certificate to get a free gift so when we were done we walked to the gift shop where they gave us this teeny tiny keychain that said Planet Hollywood. Nice lil momento, that I would put in the scrapbook if I could find it now LOL. Im sure its in one of the boys rooms somewhere?

Since we had a big 3 days planned ahead I decieded we should call it a day and make our way back to the hotel. J agreed. But before we did we took a few more pics along the way.

When we got back to the room, P was awake and feeling a bit better. So he was now hungry, I sent E off to the food court to get him something, he called and gave him the choices and of course a cheeseburger was chosen. I told him to pick up a milk for me and he got a soda for himself. Since we were on the dinning plan, it was all "FREE" well it was paid for but ahead of time LOL. E thought it was great that he just had to go give them his card and "free" food

By now E wanted to go do a lil swimming (I think he was feeling like a fish out of water since, he hadnt been in a pool or ocean in some time LOL thankfully he left the snorkle gear in the room LOL) J went with him and P and I stayed to relaxe and watch some tv. Oh and eat, hey I had a yummy brownie to dive into with my milk

As P was eatting his burger, his tooth fell out. We figured with all the excitement of the cruise and the loose tooth that is what must have made him sick. Cuz after he ate his burger he was like a new kid.

He felt so good that he wanted to go swimming with J and E, so I told him to go for it! (ya the guilt of yelling at him still was in my mind )

I joined them for a bit after straigtening the room and getting a lil more organized with our 12dozen bags LOL. I found a table to sit at and opened my book to enjoy. Which I did for a while until I saw this lil bugger. And when I did. I told the boys see ya Im going back to the room. They called me a chicken and I told them HECK YA I AM. I heard them laughing and balking at me the whole way back up to the room

Drea I just want you to know you kept me up half the night last night reading your trip report!!! We are taking our first DCL cruise in August and I have two boys 7 and 9 who remind me of yours (the expressions of your boys and mine are very similar on the numerous photos I put them through). My husband is Hispanic and your Mexican wedding reference also was funny to me (I hope my family will do the chicken dance w/ me!).

I refuse to read your WDW part yet until we get back since that will make me too jealous since we have not been and won't go to WDW til next year. I'll read that after we get back as I start planning for a Christmas WDW trip for December 2010.

You are hilarious and I can only hope we have half as good of a time!!! Only problem is my husband does not drink (have never figured out why) so I'll be drinking my "water" by myself. Oh well!!!

Glad to have ya aboard (bad cruise joke LOL) Yeah! I have a reader that stayed up to catch up.. I was/am that reader on many trip reports here. I say go out there if there isnt anyone in your family to do the dance with, you might be able to get them into the mood if you start it

You will have a great time, its really what you make of it! You can get hubby the virgin equivalent of the Drink of the days. Which mostly is like fruit juices but still put it in a disney cup and thats half the magic LOL.

Once the boys came back from the pool, one hopped into the shower and the other watched some tv, then switch. While they were doing that. E said maybe we shouldnt do the 3days of parks, maybe we all just need to use this time to relax. But we have 3days on our passes that we paid for. He ask me about saving them... I have no clue so he gets cleaned up and heads to guest services to ask some questions.

I use this time to have the boys work on and finish the homework they have been given.

I work on some trip report notes also. E comes back after sometime and tells me if we dont use our passes they never expire. BUT as soon as we use it they do in 14days. So he says lets just do a day instead, and buy a 1day pass. This actually took us a matter of minutes to both agree to do with but we both went down to guest services 2 times to ask 2 different people total of 4, to make sure our passes would be good for another time. Once we were satisfied that the answers they all gave were ok (they all said the same thing but we didnt trust that for some reason LOL) We deceided we would relaxe tmrw which was Sun, Monday to a park, relaxe again on Tuesday, then Weds we fly out.

Now which park to do. So we left it up to the boys. They all said the one with the castle. But we kind of have a park like that at home in Cali. Dont you want to do Hollywood, or Epcot, or the Animal park? NOPE just the castle one. Ok fine by me its the one that makes me think essential Disney experiance any how. Plus I figured we would need an extra day for any of the other parks to really explore, this one we kind of know the ins an outs since it basically like Dland.

Once we figured that out we got ready for bed and figured once we got up we would figure out what to do then. (you know this was really hard for me to not to have a plan of attack LOL.)

When we woke up on Sunday it was a tad late, and the boys 1st thoughts were POOL. So we all change over to pool gear and head down. Our pool was pretty empty, so we had it all to ourselves basically. I layed out for a bit and read my book then got in with the boys long enough to hear everyone was hungry. So off to the food court we went. No clue what we all got didnt have my camera.

After we ate, we went back to the room, to rest and have the boys read a lil. I walked to the POP store to get some stamps for the post cards I had made out earlier. Looked at a few things and then went back to the room, once everyone was nice and rested, we thought we would go back to the pool but seems the rain gods thought otherwise.

So instead we called it an early day and took showers and got ready to head to Shades of Green (the military resort) to buy our 1 day pass's to save a lil money since its no tax for military. Then we had Advanced Dinning Reservation (ADR) for Captian Jacks and thought we would walk around DTD since E and P didnt really get to explore it.

Well getting to Shades of Green (SOG) was an adventure... over and thru the woods to gma's house it wasnt. We grabbed a bus to the MK (magic kingdom)

From there we had to walk around to find the other resort busses as we got dropped off in the front by the monirail. We waited for the SOGS bus and finally it came, found out we could have just walked across the parking lot across the street and be there OH WELL. Get to SOG and E finds out we just saved a few bucks thanks to the military HEY a savings is a savings. (I can buy that shot glass I was eyeing now LOL)

Since we were there E asked why we didnt stay there since its for the military.. well hunny its cuz it goes by rank and unfortunatly (yet fortunatly LOL) since you are a high rank that means high price... the POP was MUCH cheaper! OH he says. Ya OH (you just leave the planning to me sir)... I will say it was a nice resort and had the price been right, we would have stayed.

We then take a bus from SOG back to MK. Instead of waiting for a bus since we have time we catch the ferry since I had read some on the parks and resorts thanks to the DIS I knew that it would take us to one of the hotels and we could catch a bus to DTD

Once we finally got to DTD we do some window shopping, then its time for our ADR

I remember getting crab cakes, E got a steak, and the boys a hamburger and nuggets... no surprise there right?

While we were waiting we played the what would you be doing right now if you were on the cruise game that the boys thought up (we play this a lot now that we are home too)

Not even 2days off the ship and they miss it already

After a yummy dinner, we get dessert to go, E didnt want any but I told him YOU WILL GET SOMETHING and yes it was a threat LOL. We do some more shopping, we get a xmas ornament, and P then gets a sugar stick also. (im sure their dentist would love hearing that!) Then we call it a day and deceide to head back to the POP since we will have a long day tmrw.

Then the boys caught us doing this, they asked us to stop cuz we were embarrising them

I think any night that ends like this is pretty good in my book!

Today was our 1 park day. So you know me I was the 1st one up and getting ready. Then E, than the boys. Our secret Mickey on the cruise, was awesome, She got us ears with the boys names on them (which is great now they earned there ears both at Dland and WDW ) We also all got 1st trip buttons, and a $25 gift certificate to use while in the World.

Once we were finally dressed and ready we headed out of the room to the bus stop, hopped on a bus to MK.

We didnt make rope drop but FOR us we were still early. About an hour past the drop. Not bad. They were doing a song and dance at the castle. Since Dland doesnt have that we stopped and watched.

Along the way we found a couple photopass peeps and took advantage of them.

by now we had hit enough photopass peeps.. and the boys were ready to HIT ME.

So off to the rides we went. Autotopia was 1st as there was no line.

Next we went to the Orbit Blast. (isnt that what its called? LOL) I squeezed into a seat

Next was Buzz lightyear (I cant think of the EXACT name... I know how bad am I what kind of a Disney Freak am I?... never said I was HA lol)

I will admit E even took pics and still whooped my behind

We did a few more rides in Tommorrow land, then made our way towards Adventureland and lookie who I spotted.. another photopass peep

We then went to Tom Sawyer Island... its never open when we go to Dland, so we took advantage of it.

By now it had got warm and humid and E wasnt feeling well so he told us to go exploring and get him when we were ready to move on

Its like were back in LA seeing bumms on the street.. keep it moving people nothing to see here.

The boys started running (no clue how they had the energy as I was dying in the heat but them and about 20 other kids took off and us parents just sort of sat at the bottom and waited, eventually a few of us took off to find them so we could do something else LOL

Finally I found the boys and we got Sicky (thats the long lost 8th Dwarf, that no one talks about LOL) and caught the next raft back to "civilization". While we waited the boys found a game.

So we walked and got some chow, Pecos Bills I believe??? Dont quote me on it.. its only been what 8yrs since I started this thing LOL. Once we got some food and cold drinks into E he felt much better. Not great but became a better sport to keep up and go on rides.

As we were leaving we noticed the Parade was starting.. CRUD I hate Parades unless its a night one. IMO it waste good riding time! But E, and J wanted to watch ... so they did. P and I went and were going to get fast passes for a ride which I cant remember but they were gone already. Great. So now E & J were stuck on 1side of the Parade and P and I on the other. So we had to wait till it was over. Only good thing is E did get it on video. I wont bore you with it though.

Boys were getting hungry again.. but this time requested ICE CREAM.. So off we went to find some..

Next we went on to find Pirates of the Caribbean. OH but 1st P wast starting by now to whine about it being hot, so he wanted one of those squirt bottle things with a fan... only $20 at WDW... That was his souviner. But we all enjoyed it shhh dont tell him I said that cuz the whole time we were telling him not to waste his money on it LOL.

Before we rode Pirates we noticed another photopass person. And the boys loved this one.

Eventually we got into the Pirates line and it wasnt to bad.

We loved it in pirates.. it was cool LOL. I noticed they had added Johnny Dept to the ride and wondered if it was the same in Dland... its been a while since we went there.

WELL when we got out of Pirates it was POURING. not just sprinkeling or a slight shower.. NO Catagory 5 rain storm... El Nino, Nina, and all the other chaqito's were out to play and we were caught in the middle. E ran to get the stroller so it wouldnt get SOAKED. And thats when I remembered.. I had taken the wallet on the ride since we didnt want to leave it in the stroller, and all our money (triple digits) credit cards, gift cards, debit cards, military ID's and Driver's licences were left on the boat. Cuz I didnt have them. SO I told the boys to say right there, and RUN back through the entry saying excuse me a MILLION times and people are yapping at me to not cut, so I yell Im not I left my wallet. Then one guy becomes my hero and yells HEY EVERYONE MOVE TO THE LEFT AND LET THIS LIL LADY THROUGH (he's my hero cuz 1 he called me a LIL lady, and 2 cuz he made people move and they LISTENTED!) So I make my way up to the CM's and ask if someone turned in a wallet, they have me describe it and the guy says here ya go..... THANK YOU and I hug him, LOL Then I proceed to look inside to see if the hug was warrented or not. Im near tears shaking by now.. and open it up and thankfully someone was watching out for me and I consider that MY PIXIE DUST MOMENT as everything was still there! YES! THANK YOU MICKEY

I run back out to the boys just in time to see A) its still pouring and B) E run over. I admited my error and he took the wallet and said YOU are not in charge of it anymore.. FINE BY ME lol We waited out the storm for a while then realized it wasnt letting up so we tell the boys lets head back to the room to cool off and relaxe then we can go back for EMH's. They were all for it.

Once back to the room, E turned back into Sleepy from being Sicky. J and P both took a nap, and I read some of my book and I think I did a load of laundry. I a few hours later got a call from T saying they went back to the MK as they had taken a break also since it was pouring and were just getting there and it was done raining. The pop was still sprinkling so I wake up E and he's all no its still raining lets just stay here.. UM NO Im going back to the MK.. if you would like to be a dud you can. Boys im leaving you with me.. and of course they were. SO the 3 of us took off and went to the bus stop. Eventually as we were waiting we see E make his was towards us. (YA thats what I thought buddy LOL).

When we got back we did a few more rides then caught the Fireworks show. After that we did the EMH's and did a few more rides. Of which I cant remember and apparently I didnt take the camera cuz I have no pics of that night??? GREAT!

Then we got P whos a big chicken to ride Splash mountain... J was all for it and he was just the right size... Well after the 1st time, HE LOVED IT.. and we then rode it 3 more times LOL. We ended up just as soaked as before when it was raining LOL. But had a great time, and P realized he's not as afraid of rides as he thought he was.

By now they were kicking people out so we took our last stroll through the park and headed to the exit to grab a bus back to the hotel. We all commented that even with the rain it was fun... but next time their better not be any rain LOL
