Ok, I'll work on it!! Maybe you can procrastinate on Monday!! If I don't get busy with this TR, we will NEVER get through all 14 days before my next trip, and with my memory, I will have to change it from the "true version" to the "things that might have happened but I'm not really sure version"!

Oh if I'm in the office and not out on the road...I can procrastinate at any time!! Totally forgot that this was a 14 day trip...and you are on day 1 still! Good luck with that!!!

Now seriously.....get BUSY...hahahaha....we are still only on Day 1??????????????/

I think I'd take the beeping battery alarm in my house over your no AC, bad electrical, foul-smelling water ordeal!!:rotfl2: UGH!! It's a good thing the house was at least clean when you got there!

I was wondering what you all were talking about with the Cinderella pose, the pin trading, etc...Then, I was talking to Teresa on the phone and realized I missed an entire section of her TR!! :scared1: So, I had to go back and read about their super-energy feat of returning to Disney after 1900 Park Fare!

:rotfl2: That was funny, yesterday when you realized you had missed an entire section!!

We are so much fun people, that we were on the phone with each other, and I actually waited on the phone AS she read my trip report!!! :rotfl: Then, she waited while I read another trip report.....Oh, we are SOOO fun!!!!

LOL, that's totally what mine's become. Only mine is "Ask the 14 year old, because she isn't senile like I am." LOL

I will need to start asking Corey soon! Already, our Epcot day is completely jumbled, I'm sure! But, do you guys REALLY care if I tell you the correct order we did everything????

you do?????

To Stinkin' Bad!

:Snooty:

Just remember, mine's the TRUE version, so I differ from Hether's report, remembr who to believe!

Thanks!!! They were funny!

I awake to the sounds of music, because I remembered to change the alarm settings. yeah! I hop out of bed, and head to the kitchen to get me some coffee!! Oh yeah! This time I got mine right away!! I then wake up Brian and head for the shower. I emerge fresh and clean! We are making decent time, so I make some oatmeal and then start heading over to wake up the girls, but I hear that Mom has beat me too it. They hadn't woke up yet, so Barbara and I took over. The girls woke up quite quickly.

Heather had made everyone (except Henry, who was being a party pooper) really cool shirts with our names on them and the Disney characters perched atop the letters, so we were all wearing those in the morning. The backs or mine and Heather's also had a lime green Mickey head that said, "Do you Dis?"

DSC08084.JPG

Oh yeah, we were STYLIN'!!! Even though Henry wouldn't wear the shirt with his name on it she had tricked him into matching us all anyway by buying him the same style and color of shirt as the guys all had and laying it out for him to wear on that day. She is a clever one, that Heather!

I helped get the girls ice cream cone outfits around and we pack them to take with us. Our plan was to have the girls change at Epcot before we took a boat to Beaches and Cream sometime in the afternoon.

I helped brush hair, slather sunscreen and get breakfast while Brian once again made us some lunch. Barbara made sure that Brian was packing plenty of water and granola bars. She got really thirsty in the parks, and had been drinking quite a bit of water. I then woke up Lydia, got her dressed and sun screened and fed and checked on Corey, who was about ready.

We had planned on leaving at 8:00, at 8:00, Heather came in and cheerfully said, "It's 8:00! Do you need help getting the kids ready?" Thankfully, the kids were all dressed, brushed, sun screened and fed, so they were pretty much set, except last minute potty breaks. We started loading our gear and crews into the vans. Mom kept telling me "We have to go!" Brian had forgotten to put his sunscreen on, so he was doing that, then Lydia realized that she didn't' have her sunglasses (a necessity in the Florida sun!) Mom kept frantically saying, "We have to go." So, I told her that I was not going to stress myself and my family out by yelling at them. To which she replied, "Well, we have to go." So, I told her, "Well, you can go ahead and leave without us then." We both knew I didn't mean it.

I went back into the house to grab Lydia's sunglasses, and walked out of the house and saw that everyone had in fact, left us!

Now, I suppose for most families, this wouldn't be a big problem, because they would have cell phones or at least have set up a time and place to meet later in the day. But, we had no cell phones, and had not set up a specific time to meet. I was really upset, for one thing, I wanted to spend the day with the family, and I had worked really hard on all the ice cream outfits, and now unless we found them somehow, we weren't even going to be going to Beaches and Cream together.

Brian saw how upset and close to tears I was, and started making jokes in a failed attempt to make me feel better. The kids knew I was upset, and got upset and started crying, I was crying, it was a mess. Corey was just really quiet in the backseat, and I could hear him saying things like, "Why would they leave us?"

Then, as we were driving down 192, we saw them both turning at a light up ahead!!! I was so happy to see them! But, we were still quite aways behind, and as we knew from the previous days experience in the Magic Kingdom parking lot, it is hard to find people in the parking lot unless you pull in right behind them. We lost site of them until we were approaching the troll booths at Epcot. They were waiting in line, as we pulled up to an empty booth, payed and took off.

Ahead of them.

heheheehehe

I asked Brian to go slow so that they could catch up to us. He saw them rounding the corner, so we went ahead and pulled up to the parking line. We got lucky, and were close to the end of the parking row. Mom and Dad pulled in shortly after, and Heather and Heather pulled in as we were getting the strollers out of the van. Unfortunately, Heather and Henry pulled up just as our row filled up! So, they pulled into a spot right behind us. The parking attendant rushed over to them as they were getting out of the van and told them that they could not park there, and would have to park at the end of the row. Henry refused to drive to the end, and the attendant let them park in the reserved spot at the beginning of our row.

So, we were all together again, and I was happy and excited!!!!

We walked up to the entrance, and the park had not opened yet. yeah!!!!

IMG_0442.JPG

But then, someone had to use the bathroom, then someone else had to go, and another, and then my DAD had to go!

Let's just say, my Dad does NOT take quick bathroom breaks...... and apparently, neither does David...

So, we waited for them,

SANY0445.JPG

and waited....

SANY0446.JPG

and waited some more.....

SANY0447.JPG

I suggested that we might as well enter the turnstiles and then Dad could join us on the other side when he came out.

Unfortunately, David had his family's tickets with him in the bathroom, so Barbara had to wait by the bathroom. But, Brian and I made it through, and we decided to have our picture taken by the Photopass guy while we waited for everyone. Unfortunately, the Photopass guy was really slow, and by the time he was done, everyone was out o the bathroom and waiting for us.
Actually, I'm wondering if we ever made it to the photographer, because I can't find this picture on the photopass cd, but I would have sworn we did... hmmmm...

So, we missed rope drop, but we were inside shortly after they had opened, so it wasn't too bad.

We headed for Soarin first. I really LOVE this ride!!! It is so much fun. There was a small wait, but it wasn't too bad.

My Dad got a little Goofy while we were waiting!

DSC08045.JPG

We were all having a pretty good time. It appears that Heather and I were laughing at a joke only us girls "got" because Brian is giving me his, "you guys are insane" look.

IMG_0444.JPG

While we were in line, we spotted a large group of people with lime green shirts, with the distinctive Home Depot paint chip Mickey head shape on them, in white. Heather and I discussed whether or not they may be Disers for awhile, and then we asked them. They were not, but one of them had a brother, or brother in law, who was one of those nutty Diser people. He had apparently warned them that if they wore lime green shirts with Home-Depot-Paint-Chip-Shaped-Mickey-Heads on them, that people would ask them if they were Disers. Apparently, they didn't believe him. I don't remember what they said the Disers name was, but it seems like it sounded familiar...shoot, I wish I had wrote it down!I keep thinking his username had an animal in it, like wolf or fox, but I could be totally wrong!! Hey, did someone out there have a group of relatives go to Epcot in May???

I dubbed them the "Reverse Disers"

I took a picture of them but I can't find that either!!
ETA: found it!
DSCF2867_640x480.jpg

When we approached the front of the line, we realized that we had scored the coveted front row!!!! Woo Hoo!!! No feet!!!
soarin.jpg

Heather was going to leave her shoes on, but I talked her into taking them off and leaving them on the floor, because it's cool to come back down and have your feet go into your shoes! I am easily amused...

Everyone loved the ride. Of course, who wouldn't????

And we came back down, and Heather and I giggled because, our shoes were right there at our feet!

I guess she is easily amused as well!

Then we headed over to the Living Seas!

I really enjoy the whole underwater theming of the line. And I think the ride is really cute. So much better than the little blue cars that use to go on the track in the carpeting!!

We hoped into our clam shells and we were off on an undersea adventure!!!

It looked like everyone was enjoying it.

DSC08048.JPG

Heather took that picture, and as you can (or maybe you can't, so you will have to take my word for it) see, the entire line of clam shells is filled with our family! I thought that was pretty cool! (easily amused, remember?)

We exited the ride

DSC08052.JPG

and headed over to Turtle Talk with Crush.

S6300139.JPG

This is a cute little show. Crush even talked right to us! Which was fun! As I recall, he had said something about raising your fin, and then he commented that the ladies in pink in the front row weren't doing it! ]

That was us!!!

Crush talked to us Dude!!! (That's for you Angela!)

Sawyer started fussing a bit during the show, so Heather or my Mom gave him a mint, and the show was over shortly after.

We walked around the aquarium for awhile and took some pictures with the shark

DSCF2865.JPG

(That's my hubby, Brian)

and looked at manatees,

IMG_0457.JPG

and sang "Barbara manatee, you're the one for me." a few times. In honor of UtahMama.

Corey and the girls looked into the aquarium trying to find hidden Mickeys they found one, which made them happy.

Lydia started complaining about her bun, and asked me to take it out. I put her off for awhile, trying to get my money's worth out of it! But, then I figured that I did it to make her happy, and if it was bothering her now, I should relent and take it out, so I did.

IMG_0474.JPG

It took quite awhile!! There were about 25 bobby pins stuck in there!! I'm pretty sure her bun would have lasted several more days if I hadn't taken it out!!! I wish I had taken a picture of all bobbi pins, because it was pretty funny actually! I just kept pulling them out, and pulling them out, then I'd find some more!

Tessa decided that she wanted hers out too, and once Heather saw that I had taken out Lydia's she went ahead and took out Tessa's. I think Heather was afraid she would hurt my feelings if she took it out too soon. She's pretty sweet like that.

I like the Living Seas pavilion, but there is only so much time that I can spend in there, so I was glad when we decided it was time to leave.

Heather and Henry went off in search of some food, and we decided to meet back up at the Imagination pavilion.

We were really thirsty, so Corey suggested that we go to Club Cool and get a drink. We went inside and started sampling the drinks. Then, I got an idea into my head...hehehehehe....

"Hey Courtney, if you drink this pop, I will pay you a quarter!"

Oh, yes, I am an EEEEEVIL aunt!!!! I was paying her a quarter to drink

The Beverly!!!!

heheheheehe'

She took a nice big gulp!!! We got it on video even!(Heather has the video, I'll have to get it from her, so you can all see it!

She made a horrible horrible face and tried to wipe her tongue off!!! And said, "I don't like that!"

Best quarter I EVER spent!!!!

We then talked Casey into trying it. She took a big gulp. NO REACTION

AT ALL!

We asked if she liked it, she said, ''Yes"

So, we asked her if she wanted more, and she quickly said, "no"

Now, my Mom, she actually thinks the Beverly isn't bad. She would rather drink it than the watermelon flavored one. Go figure....

We had had our fill of pop, and were nicely cooled off, so we took off to meet up with Heather at the Imagination pavilion. We went inside to the activity area to look for her and play around awhile. When we were all back together again, we started heading for the ride, but first me, Dad, Henry and Brian went to see about getting Fast Passes for Honey I Shrunk the Audience. There was no line, and it was starting soon, so Henry went back inside to ask everyone if they wanted to do that right then. We waited quite awhile for him to come back, and then we saw the rest of the family getting ready to get into line on the Imagination ride, so we went in to see what was up. They hadn't seen Henry, but decided they wanted to do the Imagination ride first, so we went back to get Fast Passes for "Honey I Shrunk the Audience".

Henry still hadn't come back, so I waited near the activity place for him to let him know what was going on. After my Dad got his Fast Passes, I told him to wait for Henry so he would know where we were and went to join the rest of the family.

Apparently, Henry was inside looking for everyone, and they must have just passed each other as he came in and they went out. He then had problems with the Fast Pass machine, so it took awhile for him to join us.

S6300145.JPG

Yeah, that's me waiting behind the glass.

Soon enough, we were all back together. We began entering the line, and another family attempted to jump in the middle of us. We told them that we were all together, and they got rather peeved that we were all going ahead of them (even though we were already entering when they came up to the entrance!) We encountered a lot of that sort of attitude on our trip. People don't like to see large groups! It's not like there was much of a line for this ride anyway!

Lydia had become obsessed with Figment on our last trip, so she was pretty excited to be going on his ride. I was slightly less thrilled. It's just ok, if you ask me. I can barely remember what it was now, and it hasn't been that long since I went on it! But, the kids liked it, so I'm glad we went on it.

We then went into Honey I Shrunk the Audience.

Yeah, we realized that Fastpasses for this attraction were rather pointless! We had no trouble getting in, and I seriously doubt that there is EVER much of a line!

Can I ask

, HOW LONG are they going to keep this movie???!!!???!!!

The humongous glasses,

the 80's style clothing...

I mean come on, I do believe that Disney has the money for a NEW 3-D movie!

I say

bring back CAPTAIN EO!!!

And, wasn't there another one? I remember kids running through a field of flowers...

as the red red robin comes bo bo bobbin along...

Wake up, wake up you sleepy head,

get up, get up get out of bed,

Live love laugh and be happy,

now when I've been blue I've been walking through fields of floooowers,

as the red red robing comes bo bo bobbin along....

along....

Whoa! Sorry about that 2nd grade concert flashback!

Brian had to go do something near the fountains, don't remember what it was,

S6300146.JPG

Maybe someone had to use the potty???

but I told him that I was going to get the stroller, and to meet us when he was done. So, I got the stroller, and then waited with the rest of the group for Brian. He didn't come, and didn't come, so I went up by the fountains to see what was up. I found them:

S6300148.JPG

S6300150.JPG

S6300151.JPG

S6300152.JPG

At least they were having fun! He had thought that I had said I would meet him up there. So, we went down to the rest of the family.

And, we were off to do some globe trotting!

IMG_0476.JPG

Our plan was to hit a few of the countries, then go to Beaches and Cream to have the "Kitchen Sink"! mmm, yummy ice cream!

On the way to the countries, we spotted a little kidspot, not the ones with the masks, but one where the kids could color a little packet of flowers and take them home. It was getting REALLY hot now, so we all tried to huddle underneath the shade umbrella.

IMG_0488.JPG

It was a little cooler under there. The kids really enjoyed coloring the flower packets. I didn't realize that they had also been coloring on rocks with Sharpie markers though. Their little hands were all sorts of different colors, and Tessa was very upset that she had gotten marker on her shirt. She kept apologizing to Heather for it.

We looked at the beautiful gardens for a bit:

IMG_0489.JPG

IMG_0480.JPG

IMG_0498.JPG

My kids like to do the Kidcot areas and color the masks and collect the stamps from each country, so I suggested we look for a few of those next. I saw a sign at the Canadian pavilion for the Kidcot Fun Spot, so I suggested starting there.

DSC08071.JPG

Mom didn't really want to go to Canada, but I'm not sure why. I don't blame her for not wanting to make the climb though! Brian and I usually start on the other side of the countries, at Mexico, so we had never made it over to Canada before. So, we climbed up to the top, which isn't very easy, and were greeted with a very pretty waterfall.

IMG_0502.JPG

DSC08072.JPG

Unfortunately, after we climbed all that way, we realized that there was no Funspot up there, so we had to go back down again. On the way down, Tessa tripped and fell and started crying. She scraped her leg up pretty bad, so we were all gathered around her. Corey was looking really mad, so I asked him what was wrong.

He said, "That lady there," and pointed to a lady who was walking away from us, "just said, 'There's nothing wrong with he, and she wasn't crying at ALL until everyone started making such a fuss' then she laughed! And, I feel like slapping her! I mean, LOOK at Tessa's leg!"

S6300162.JPG

(You can't see how bad it was in this picture, it started looking MUCH worse.)

Corey is a very quiet kid, and doesn't get mad that easily, unless it's at his sisters, so I thought it was really sweet of him to get so upset about the way someone was treating his little cousin. Don't worry, he would NEVER actually smack someone! He was just letting me know how upset he was! You can see how badly she scraped her leg up in some of the pictures.

It was really really hot, and people were getting a bit grumpy. So, we decided to just head on over to Beaches and Cream.

But first, Brian took some pictures of the kids in these things.

IMG_0504.JPG

SANY0450.JPG

IMG_0506.JPG

SANY0449.JPG

Once again, I was told to "Lead the way!"

The year before, Brian had gotten really sick, so one day the kids and I went resort hopping, and went to Beaches and Cream. We then got on the boat and road over to Epcot, which we thought was a lot of fun. We didn't actually go IN Epcot, but we got off the boat and hung out by the turnstiles awhile. We saw Chip and Dale while we were there. Good times, good times.. So, I had a general idea of where the boats were, very general, and very vague, because for some reason, I thought they were on the opposite side of the World Showcase,

IMG_0487.JPG

until Corey reminded me that they were near England.

When we got to England, we took the girls inside the restroom to change their clothes

IMG_0509.JPG

While we were in there, my brother David bought a chocolate bar and shared it with everyone. So, when Lydia and I walked out, we saw that everyone was eating chocolate.

"Woops, we forgot about you two!." they said.

thanks guys, appreciate it.....really....

But, David snatched us a piece just before one of the kids swallowed it and gave it to me and Lydia. It was really good!!!! MMMM... yummy....chocolate....

Lydia's hair was a mess, so I decided that I needed to try and brush it.

IMG_0519.JPG

So, I warned her that I would be brushing her hair soon, to giver her some time to get use to the idea, and then I brushed Arminda's hair

IMG_0521.JPG

Then, started on Lydyy's

UGGH!

There was a LOT of hair product in her hair from BBB!!! It was white and flaky, and when I brushed it, it flew all over the place! I was coated in it by the time I was done! Lydia hates getting her hair brushed, and it was extra hard because of all the gook, so Aunt Barbara held her and talked to her while I brushed the hair.

IMG_0525.JPG

What a sweetie Barbara is!

I finally finished, and handed out little ice cream cone pony tail holders that I had brought for the girls, to go with these outfits. They all looked SOOOO cute!!!! I had decided that the girls HAD to have outfits for Beaches and Cream last year after I found the Disboutique thread (over on the family board). Alicia, AKsunshine, had posted an adorable ice cream dress that she had made for her daughter Isabelle. I then became obsessed with finding ice cream fabric and making outfits for all 5 girls! I also became obsessed with the Disboutique thread in general!! Hi ladies and Tom!

I then looked around for Brian, and spotted him sitting in a chair, sleeping.

IMG_0526.JPG

So, I took his picture while Corey went to get him.

We then quickly found the boats,

IMG_0529.JPG

IMG_0531.JPG

thanks to Corey and hopped on for a a ride to the Beach Club!

The kids were all hot, hungry, and getting fussy at this point. Sawyer was reaching melt down mode. He was tired and really needed his nap, but he couldn't sleep well in his stroller, because it didn't recline. There was some discussion about whether or not I was SURE that Beaches and Cream was actually at the Beach Club resort, and wasn't it really at Boardwalk....

I was persistent though, and was not swayed by their doubt! I made sure everyone stayed on the boat to the Beach Club.

Here are the girls in their adorable ice cream outfits!!! Tell me, have you ever seen such an adorable bunch??

DSC08091.JPG

DSC08093.JPG

They were excited and started acting silly:

DSC08087.JPG

DSC08090.JPG

IMG_0534.JPG

IMG_0535.JPG

Of course, I was again told to lead the way. I told them that I wasn't exactly sure where it was located, since it is sort of hidden from the main walkway. So, we asked someone who directed us to go around the pool. So, our group of 15 people trudged through the deck of the pool, where people were swimming and sunbathing. We all felt a little silly! I believe we passed Steph's VORTEX OF DEATH! as well. (Hey Stephres!) (you will need to read her trip report to know what I'm talking about though)

We reached Beaches and Cream, and entered the door. It was blissfully cool!!!! The family waited in line awhile, and I got to thinking that something didn't look right, we hadn't gone in that door the year before. So, I went outside and told the CM at the other door if we were waiting in the wrong line to eat inside. She didn't speak English very well, and kept telling me that we could eat inside. We miscommunicated for quite awhile more, and she finally understood that we wanted to eat inside. She asked how many we had, and looked shocked that we wanted to get 15 people inside the restaurant. Another CM came over told me that it was a small restaurant, and we would have to wait awhile for them to have enough seats. So, I went over and got my family out of the take out line, and we sat on the porch to wait for our beeper to go off.

IMG_0541.JPG

We are an excited looking bunch, aren't we!

IMG_0540.JPG

IMG_0592.JPG

Sawyer was barely holding on at this point. He really needed a nap, something to eat, and to cool off.

We didn't have to wait too long before they had seats for us, so we got to go inside the air conditioned coolness!

IMG_0565.JPG

The kids and I had had so much fun in here the year before when we ordered the Kitchen Sink! We loved the way they made a great big deal of bringing it out, and the chant they said as they did it.

"Here we have the world Famous Kitchen Sink! With 8 scoops of ice cream, EVERY topping we have, and a WHOLE can of WHIPPED CREAM!!!"

"A WHOLE CAN??!!!??"

"YES! A WHOLE CAN!"

The kids chanted that all year, and we couldn't wait for them to do it again!!

Corey and I had decided that it would be really funny if we asked for extra whipped cream this year. So, when the waitress came to take our order, we told her that we wanted "Extra whipped cream." We expected a laugh, but she said,

"Huh? It comes with a whole can on it." Our joke sort of bombed!

Half of us hate bananas in our ice cream, so we ordered two kitchen sinks, one without bananas and one with.

Sawyer was in full meltdown mode,

I believe he had just thrown Baby Simba, and Arminda is giving him a talking to! He had also just smacked them all upside the head with the menu Mom kept handing him...

IMG_0565.JPG

so Heather took him outside to walk around. The rest of the kids were on the verge of losing it as well.

IMG_0551.JPG

Not a picture of Lydia losing it, but she does look pretty cute, don't you think?

Tessa told Lydia a secret:

DSC08096.JPG

Which, apparently, Lydia found very funny!

IMG_0566.JPG

The girls decided we needed some music, so they went to the juke box to pick out some songs:

IMG_0559.JPG

Just before they were to bring out the Kitchen Sink, I went to look for Heather and Sawyer to let them know, but I couldn't find them.

I made it inside just as they brought it out! The lights started going, and the waitress said,

"Here we have the world famous Kitchen Sink."

Then she put it on the table.

Plop

IMG_0572.JPG

WHAT??? That's it???? No big tadoo???

Nope, just, "Here's the Kitchen Sink" plop.

She told us which one didn't have bananas, so I dug into that one! There seemed to be a very very small amount of ice cream in our Kitchen Sink! Which we all thought was odd. It was mostly toppings.

IMG_0571.JPG

So, I dug into my bowl, eager for some yumminess! And, I bit right into a BANANA!!! YUCK! I don't like bananas in my ice cream! What to do, what to do!!! Should I swallow it, or was there anyway to discreetly spit it out?? Such a dilemma.

IMG_0547.JPG

The rest of it was fairly good, although there was a disturbing LACK of actual ice cream!, and we were all enjoying ourselves.

Heather came back with Sawyer, who was still not doing too well.

I got another scoop of ice cream from the other sink,

IMG_0574.JPG

the one that SURELY would have NO bananas,

and once again

bit right into banana!

Come on!

IMG_0576.JPG

It was about this time that Sawyer lost all control and hurled his bowl of ice cream!

Right

into

David's lap!.....

David had to excuse himself to go clean up...

Ok, check out this picture that was taken JUST before the hurling happened! I am PRETTY sure Sawyer was upset that David was digging into the ice cream, and Heather appears to be telling Sawyer to wait a minute. Look at the LOOK he is giving his Uncle David! A plot was forming!!!

IMG_0578.JPG

Mom was done with her ice cream, so she volunteered to take him (Sawyer, not David) out to give Heather a little break.

IMG_0593.JPG

When he left, I think I heard crickets chirping... it was so quiet!!! LOL!

Heather looked a little frazzled, and someone asked what Sawyer had done. Heather replied that he had thrown his bowl and it had landed right on DAVID!!!

I started to giggle.....

Heather looked at me like I was crazy....

Henry started to laugh....

Brian was laughing....

Heather's face broke into a beautiful smile, and she started giggling....

Soon, we were all busing out laughing at David's misfortune!

Poor David....

IMG_0580.JPG

We were having such a good time together, we started being very silly and taking pictures..

Look, Heather and I are eating an entire Kitchen Sink all by ourselves!!!!

IMG_0583.JPG

And, then we thought it would be funny to act like we were feeding each other...

IMG_0587.JPG

We were laughing so hard we could barely hold the spoons still for the picture!!!!

DSC08109.JPG

It was a really good time!

Everyone except for Brian and I and Heather and Henry were outside waiting for us, so we figured we should get going!

And, in case you think I'm leaving out the part where the people working at Beaches and Cream commented on how CUTE five little girls looked coming into the Ice Cream parlor dressed in outfits made with fabric that had little ice cream cones on it and ice cream pictures so painstakingly appliqued to the front, I didn't. Because, they didn't.

Not a word, nothing, nadda, zip, zilch, nuttin..

So, I too, Lydia over to show the CM working at the podium, She then told me how cute it was. Even though the CMs didn't say a word about the outfits, we were stopped several time by people telling us how adorable they looked!

IMG_0597.JPG

We gathered everyone around, and decided to walk on the porch instead of around the pool again! We got quite a ways, then realized that David was not with us,

DSC08113.JPG

so I went back to check on him. I found him in the arcade next to the restaurant, not a big surprise! David likes video games! He told me that he had put the money in the machine, but it didn't work, so he was waiting for a refund. He had lost $1. I went back out to tell everyone what was going on, and Heather offered to give him a dollar so we could get going! Sawyer was exhausted and crying, and it was hot! But, he came out quickly and we were on our way.

I was asked how long a walk it was back to Epcot, so I pointed to where the bridge was that we had gone under in the boat and said it was over there, and that we would have to walk back to where we got on the boats. I had never walked it before, so I had no idea how long it would take to walk it. It was decided that we would ride the boat back.

While we waited, Henry had fun with the kids with a safety cone

First, Sawyer tried it on

Then Tessa:

I was a little concerned that the thing would get stock on their heads, and we would become an episode of "America's Funniest Home Videos" but they were ok!

Sawyer was really really tired, so I had a stroke of genius!!! Since his stroller didn't lay down, why don't we put him in my stroller that fully reclines!!

Why we didn't' think of that sooner, I don't know!

Heather put him in the stroller, layed it down and he was sound asleep withing a minute or two.

SANY0464.JPG

Poor little guy had been completely exhausted! He was still clutching part of a granola bar in his hand when he fell asleep, and he looked so sweet! I rocked the stroller, to help put him into a deeper sleep.

IMG_0528.JPG

As were docked at Epcot, I asked, "Do you think he will stay asleep?" to which Henry replied,

"If there is a Lord in heaven he will!"

Which made Heather and I break out in peals of laughter! It was so unexpected coming from Henry!

Thankfully, our laughter did not wake up Sawyer!

We hoped into the rather short but extremely sloooooow moving line to re-enter Epcot.

Heather and Henry were having issues with a CM of unclear gender.

So, the rest of us hopped into another line, and made through while Heather was still dealing with the CM.

It seemed like it took FOREVER before the CM let them through! I don't know what was going on exactly, but I'm sure Heather will explain it in her Trip Report, so you will have to read hers to get the full story!

As we entered the park, we saw Pluto!!!! Now, Casey LOVES Pluto, so she was pretty excited!!!

So, they got some pictures and some autogrpahs:

Doesn't Lydia look sweet in this next picture!?

Apparently, Arminda was getting tired!

IMG_0610.JPG

We had decided that we would go to Test Track and then Heather and Henry were going to go back to the house. David had earlier said something about going to Mexico since it was Cinqo de maio, but first we were heading to Test Track. Since my Dad was retired from GM, we were able to get passes to get right into the Fast Pass line, so there wouldn't be much wait.

As we were heading around the World Showcase, we spotted a little path near the UK, and at the end of the path we saw Alice and Mary Poppins!! So we decided to stop and get some autographs and pictures.

I looked around for Brian and Arminda, and couldn't find them. So, Lydia and Corey went with everyone else, and I took off to try and find Brian so Arminda could meet the characters. I looked around England a bit and didn't see them, so I took off and walked to the end of the World Showcase, then walked a little more and didn't' see them. So, I walked back to England, and they weren't there either.

Apparently, apparently, everyone was having fun though, because the pictures are pretty cute!

This is Lydia's very excited, yet nervous pose:

DSC08149.JPG

So, we started heading for Test Track.

Casey found a Pluto Topiary!

IMG_0627.JPG

Like I said before, Brian always finds me. I knew that even if we didn't find him before the park closed, I would find him at the van when it did. On the way to Test Track, we were distracted by a gift shop and the promise of air conditioning! We looked around a bit, and then Tessa spotted a squished penny machine!!! She was so excited!!! I didn't have any quarters of pennies with me, so Tessa gave Lydia some money to make a squished penny too. She is a very thoughtful little girl!

I was keeping a look out for Brian while we were in the shop, but I didn't see him. When we left, I walked ahead to see if he had taken off for Mexico to find himself some Corona. I went inside, but didn't' see him, so we continued to Test Track, making a pit stop at the bathrooms. When I came out, Brian was sitting there,

S6300172.JPG

he had found us just like I knew he would. Apparently, he had thought we were heading to Mexico, so he had just kept walking,

IMG_0613.JPG

(that's him in the blue shirt pushing the stroller)

not realizing we had stopped.

They waited for us there, and then rode the ride. Arminda was disappointed that she had missed Mary Poppins and Alice, but I think she was also happy that she got to spend some time alone with her Daddy!

I was starting to not feel well at all, so I volunteered to stay with the sleeping Sawyer while everyone went on the ride.

DSC08160.JPG

I think the waiting area of Test Track is the most loud obnoxious place in all of Disney!! Do they REALLY have to have that noisy machine going??? What is it, boom, clank, boom clank boom clank..... Thinking back, I should have waited outside for everyone, but I was really not feeling well, and wasn't thinking clearly.

The Boom CLANK woke up Sawyer, but he just layed in the stroller as I sat on the bench and gently rocked him in the stroller. It would have been nice had it not been for the CONSTANT

BOOM CLANK!!

BOOM! CLANK!!!

By the time the rest of the group came out, I was feeling better, so I decided to go on it with them. Tessa was very excited to get to ride next to me, which made me really happy!

DSC08156.JPG

Here we are on the ride!

image317.jpg

See Tessa covering her eyes!

Before we left, we had to look at the cars for awhile, because you can't do THAT at HOME!

In a car lot...

where there are even MORE cars....

That they actually let you DRIVE....

yeah, you see why we had to stop here now, don't you?

IMG_0660.JPG

Mom and the kids really wanted to see the butterflies, so we headed over that way.

We stopped for a moment at the car wash to cool off:

DSC08165.JPG

I am a bit freaked out by butterflies, and do NOT enjoy having them land on me with their sticky little feet and icky little eyes looking at you!!

Ick, just big ole bugs with wings! I was not eager to get too close to them, and neither was Heather, so we sent the kids with everyone else, and went to the bathroom. Heather had to change Sawyer too, so she had a good excuse!

When I entered the bathroom, I saw a girl and though, "Hmm, something about her looks like a Diser." I looked, but didn't see any Lime Green Mickey heads, on her, so I didn't say anything.

While Heather was changing Sawyer, we heard, "Are you Disers!?!" from behind us. I turned to see the same lady that had struck me as Diser-like! Cool! Our fist Diser spotting!!! Good thing Heather put the Diser heads on the back of our shirts! We introduced ourselves, but didn't take any pictures. We were excited to meet her. Her username was Marsh0013

When we came out of the bathroom, everyone was already out of the butterfly house, darn it all! And, the girls were playing in the playgound.
S6300193.JPG

Remember what they were wearing???

DSC08093.JPG

and I had forgotten to pack the shorts that I always have my girls wear under skirts! UGGH!! We let them play awhile anyway, then called them down.

Heather and Henry had had enough, so they decided to head on home. Corey wanted to head to Club Cool again. Brian had decided to take a bathroom break, so I waited for him while Corey and my parents walked over to Club Cool. When we got up to my parents, they were standing in front of the fountain, without Corey. Club Cool had been closed already, so Corey went back looking for us. I was NOT happy that my parents had just lost my son. Yes, he's 15 and all, but he didn't know where we were, and had just taken off looking for us, and no one that he had gone with had a clue where he went. Who knows what that boy would get it into his head to do? I pictured him wandering around the park to find us. After what seemed like forever, he came back to where we were standing.

Since Club Cool was closed, we decided we would head on home. But, while we were passing Spaceship Earth, we decided to stop and go on it. We were eager to see what sort of changes they had made to it. As we were entering, we saw Henry standing with Sawyer at the entrance. He told us that Heather had just gone inside. By the time we got inside, she was already on the ride, so we didn't see her and Tessa. I rode with Lydia. We both enjoyed the ride, and liked the interactive part of it. When we got off the ride, we saw Heather and Tessa's picture up on the big screen. They looked pretty cute!!! We played in the interactive area for awhile, and then we decided it was time to go home.

It wasn't too late, but we were pretty tired, so we were glad to be heading home. Our house wasn't very far away, about 10 -15 minutes. Unless of course, they are doing construction, and you get into a huge traffic jam!

Then, it takes about an HOUR!! UGGGH!!! It was awful!!!! Thankfully though, our rental van had air conditioning!

Our van at home's air conditioning broke on our trip to Florida two years before JUST which we discovered just as we were entering Florida! Do you have any idea what your hair looks like after 19 hours of driving with the windows down???? You really don't want to know.....

But, in this car, we had air!! We were living the high life people!!! We had a/c in the house AND in the car, neither luxury we had at our own home in Michigan. Living the High Life People, living the High Life!!!!!

We went into the house to find a note from the very helpful Berry, the emergency contact. He had been to the house, and turned on some lights and such. He said there was no problem, and explained to us that some of the lights turned on slowly, since they were fluorescent.

Yeah, he thought we were some sort of idiots who didn't know the difference between a light turning on slowly and a breaker going out! I thought about calling him again, but decided to just let it go, it was obvious he wasn't going to listen to us. But, I did write a strongly worded letter to the owner of the house, and asked for a refund or at least pool heat while we were there. It was hot, but the pool was pretty chilly. I didn't receive a response from him until a few weeks after we got home. Basically he told me that we signed a contract saying he wasn't responsible for anything that happened at the house, and that Berri had assured him that everything had been fixed in a timely manner. Never mind that we couldn't drink the water for three days, the a/c didn't work for a day and half, and we could NEVER turn on two things at once in my parents room! Everything was hunky dory according to good old Berri, and that was good enough for the owner. He told me that he had been doing me a favor letting us rent the house after he bought it, and basically since he wasn't planning on renting out the house again, he didn't care what we thought or who we told. He told us that he was sorry that we didn't like the house, although I had told him that we did really like the house once most everything was fixed. But, I thought that the house should have been ready for us before we got there, not three days into our stay. So, we didn't get pool heat, and we didn't get a refund of any sort or an apology. I had payed with Paypal, and it was beyond the time period for filing a complaint with them, so we were out of luck. The owner did seem to think that we should be grateful that he had already given us back our deposit though.....

We had decided that we would sleep in the next day and get to MGM around noon. Sleep, blissful sleep.....

Great Update Teresa!! I can't believe NONE of the CMs said Anything about those girls adorable outfits!!!! They must have legally blind to not see their adorableness!!!

Fun day! I think it's cute the older girls kept their BBB hair in.

Yeah, not our best day in the parks! We managed to squeeze quite a bit of fun in, though.

I had no idea that mom didn't tell you we were leaving and we'd meet you at the entrance! We were just following them. I saw you all come out of the house, so I thought all was well. Then, we drove slow so you could catch up. I was clueless as to the crying and general sadness it caused.

We did talk about telling you to meet us somewhere if you weren't ready on time, but apparently she never told you that! She's so afraid of controversy and she ends up making things much worse!

I forgot about Henry's "if there is a Lord in Heaven" comment. :rotfl:

I continue to be amazed at how similar our TRs are! We even both made the same stupid joke about Dad being Goofy in line!

sounds like you al are having fun!

We really were! It was a blazingly hot day though!
:goodvibes Great Report! I enjoy reading the two versions!

Can't wait for more!

Me too!!!!

Great Update Teresa!! I can't believe NONE of the CMs said Anything about those girls adorable outfits!!!! They must have legally blind to not see their adorableness!!!
I KNOW! This is a theme throughtout the trip! We didn't get the attention that everyone else seems to get in their customs! :confused3
Fun day! I think it's cute the older girls kept their BBB hair in.

They look pretty cute, don't they! Arminda's was way gone by this point! I was really hoping Lydia would keep hers in at least until we ate at BaC, but I think the heat plus the plastered hair was really making her miserable!

I had a really nice time really! It was HOT HOT HOT!! But, we had some really special moments!

I'm not sure what was going on at the house that morning. :confused3 It all worked out though! It always does.

It's funny how many things we write exactly the same way!!

And, I like to read the things I've forgotten that you remember!

I forgot to mention on your TR, but the sandwiches were actually really good!
