Dorky Disboutiquing DiserSistas:Destination Disney HeatherSue's(best)version OVER1/27

Yikes....birds? I didnt notice any when we went last 2 years ago but I did notice the yummy food and the huge dessert buffet! My DH (Disney Hater #2) actually twirled his napkin while we were there....I almost fell out of my chair. I have to admit that I am a little akward around the characters. I was in Sawyer's camp when I was little...I was askeered of them all....so I am not afraid now....just akward. Perhaps you can cure this of me in Feb??? :confused3 :rotfl2:

Heather - Those birds in Chef Mickey's - yucky. I would have thought the same thing about them pooping in my food and then me eating it not knowing. I find that some characters are not big kid friendly (I think it depends who is in there ;) ) I had big issues with an Eeyore once that totally ignored me in Epcot but then I saw him another time and it was a different experience. Mickey must have been having issues that day, don't blame him, it's the other person, wink wink.

Ok now that I remembered this, is that is what is on your pins, the Incredibles but it says Family Reunion. Too cute. That is a great picture. I cry everytime I walk down Main Street so you're not alone.

I can't possibly one-up my sister! She has over 700 more views than I do, and she's 1 installment behind! Not that I'm comparing or anything....:rolleyes1

Just so you know. . .I have clicked on your tr several times this morning in order to help your view count. I wouldn't want you to think your tr is less entertaining than Teresa's and stop writing. Wait a minute! - Teresa how many times a day have you been clicking on your own TR? Love reading both of your TR's!

Great 1/2 installment! My favorites:

David is the one on the left!

The whole "we paid for 15 people to see the characters, we should get 4x the time with the characters" thing. Silly woman commenting so you can hear her... shame on her!

WHAT's up with that mouse? Why did he think he could dis you? Shame on him!

It'll be the HoJoKiHa's. It goes in order of who's been in the family the longest. You can't go jumping to the front like that. :snooty:

Then again, it might be the HoJoKiReHa's because Arminda will probably be married to Jacob before then. :rotfl:

Thank you! I hope you know Megan considers Tessa and Lydia her best friends and Jacob is practically engaged to Arminda (she wrote him the cutest e-mail telling him how to spell check, he said, mom, I know how to spell check).

Um...stirrup pants in 1995!! Don't you know you were supposed to have at least moved on to leggings by then. Sheesh! If you buy Megan a pair of those hideous stirrup pants, I will never forgive you!:snooty:

Thanks for the outfit compliments!

I think Megan would be darling in stirrup pants!:snooty:

What can I say, I have a hard time letting go of trends! I am horrified when I look back on pictures, why did my mom let me wear that?

Another great installment, I love your sappy stories. Your family is fantastic!! I would have been upset with Mickey too for blowing me off. How dare that little girl say that at the squishy penny machine. I don't see why people raise their kids to be that way :sad2:. The girls shirts were beautiful. You are so talented!!

I get teary eyed at the castle too. I loved the group shot in front of the castle, I can't wait to hear more popcorn::.

WOW!! I think I would have called 911 if Henry started twirling his napkin!! I can't imagine your shock!!

I totally understand your awkwardness with the characters. Up until this trip, I would always look at the characters as people dressed up in a costume. I'd try to figure out where their eyes really were, so I could look them in the eyes, etc... But, this trip I gave in to the magic and just pretended they were actually real. It worked, to a certain extent! I didn't once try to imagine the little person inside the costume and I didn't search for the eye holes. But, I also couldn't have a "conversation" with them like some people are able to do.

Heather - Those birds in Chef Mickey's - yucky. I would have thought the same thing about them pooping in my food and then me eating it not knowing. Who's in there? Whatever do you mean?!

Yes, that's what was on our pins!! Or, maybe they say Grand Gathering. I'll have to look and see.

Awww...I am forever in your debt! ;) Yes, I feel a little sad when people comment on Teresa's TR and not mine. We may share a brain, but we're not the same person. :rotfl:

I think you're onto something. I bet Teresa just leaves the TR thread open on her computer all day and just keeps clicking on her TR!! People don't love her best with all her stinkin' sunshine and light!

Great 1/2 installment! My favorites:

Like I said, that hat TOTALLY suited my brother, so I thought you might get confused if I didn't point him out!

I know, didn't Mickey know I was one of the "Diser Sistas"? :rotfl:

Thank you! I hope you know Megan considers Tessa and Lydia her best friends and Jacob is practically engaged to Arminda (she wrote him the cutest e-mail telling him how to spell check, he said, mom, I know how to spell check).

Oh, that's so sweet! Tessa just loves Megan. Every time she sees their pictures in your siggy, she says "There's my friends!!!"

I'm sure Megan would look darling in anything you chose to dress her in. However, the stirrup pants themselves would never be darling!

Another great installment, I love your sappy stories. Your family is fantastic!! I would have been upset with Mickey too for blowing me off. Thank you for the compliments on the shirts! They were really pretty easy and I just used leftover Mickey fabric (from my mom's shirt). That's why Mickey isn't centered on the front of them. I didn't have enough fabric!

Uh! I loved Chef Mickey's! The birds were a little freaky to me too! The food was great there, what you are able to shove in...but more from me on that later...

We went for dinner, we may have to try breakfast next time.

I loved Chef Mickey's, too! I hope my whining didn't overshadow that fact!!

Great installment, Heather and I love the matching outfits at Chef Mickey, and too funny that you pointed out which one was David at Chef Mickey.

I can't believe how rude that little girl is to Tessa at the penny machine, and her dad didn't say a word???

I can't wait to read more about your trip...I can only dream of going to WDW for 14 days!!

Okay, where were we? Ah yes, I'd just been hassled by the CM at the entrance to MK. But, she couldn't stop the Disney magic from touching my heart when I beheld *the castle*

image366_548x768.jpg

*sigh*

Dad was rarin' to go. Look what a cute tourist he makes.

DSC08309_360x480.jpg

We stopped for some photopass pictures. Can you tell the sun was in our eyes?

image372_640x457.jpg

These pictures are so bad! I think Teresa was making a funny when she cropped and decorated them! :rotfl:

image374_640x457.jpg

Why, yes, I did change Sawyer's shirt. His Mickey shirt was pretty dirty from Chef Mickey's. Why, yes, I DID make that Buzz Lightyear button-up shirt myself. Thank you!

After the photopass pictures, we headed straight to frontierland to grab Fastpasses for Splash Mountain. I still had my handy cards that I was given by a CM at Epcot because 2 of our tickets didn't work in the FP machines. So, I zipped those babies through, along with 1 of our tickets.

Teresa and I wanted to ride Thunder Mountain. But, there was some discussion about this because David wanted to go see The Country Bears. I had no desire to see them again, so I suggested we split up. I know Henry took Sawyer to see them again (he's also a coaster-hater), but I honestly can't remember who else went. We decided to meet back in front of Splash Mountain at our FP time.

Tessa had never ridden on Thunder Mountain before and she was SO excited!!! This was her first "real" roller coaster! She'd been on the barnstormer, but that's it. She was just beside herself with excitement! She put her arms in the air and screamed and LOVED it!! I mean, she LOVED it!! It was so much fun to see her enjoying herself so much. You can see her excitedly pointing at something in this picture.

S6300217_640x480.jpg

She reminded me of myself at her age...except I was on the Scooby Doo kiddy roller coaster and I tried to scream, but no sound would come out. Then, I told my mom I wanted to get off. Hmmm....maybe she's not so much like me at her age!

The line was super-short, so we got right back in line and rode it again!! Yee-haw!! This time Tessa sat by Aunt Teresa and Arminda Sue sat by me. Do you see a pattern here? Teresa and Tessa, Heather Sue and Arminda Sue? Yes, they're both named after their aunts!

DSC08314_640x480.jpg

DSC08315_640x480.jpg

DSC08316_640x480.jpg

When we got off the ride, the family was all gathered together and ready to use our fastpasses for Splash Mountain. We got to the front of the line, when I saw.....

I HAD AN INVALID FASTPASS!!!!!!

One of them had worked- the one I used my actual ticket for. The other two said they were invalid. It was only then that I realized that nifty card I was given at Epcot said it was only good for that day, at that park. D'OH!!!

I was hoping this wouldn't be a huge problem. Surely the nice man would see that I was with 12 other people, all with valid fastpasses and I had 1 valid fastpass. I only needed 1 more since Henry wasn't riding. So, I get to the front of the line and very humbly explain how I had goofed and that my tickets don't work in the machine, etc...etc... He said "You'll have to go over there and talk to someone by the fastpass machines."

Okay, the rest of the family waited while I went back to the FP machines. I explained it to the person down there and they said. "Let's just swipe your tickets again and we'll get you some new FP." I explained that I had 12 family members who were waiting to ride and if I got a new FP, I'd have to wait another hour. They then told me I'd have to talk to the guy at the FP entrance about it.

Ooookay....I went up and once again talked to the guy at the FP entrance. He was NOT happy that I was back again and he let me know it. I asked if there was any way he could give me a FP so I could ride with my family and he told me flat out "No." I practically begged the guy and he finally reaches in his pocket and handed me a parent swap pass.

Um...why didn't he just do that in the first place?!?! He was NOT nice about it and it really upset me. I tell you what, these CMs do NOT like big groups of people! It will not be our first run in of the day. I realize it was my fault, sort of (it wasn't my fault that my stupid tickets wouldn't work). But, did he have to be such a big jerk about it?

This whole time my family had been at the front of the FP line, off to the side, waiting for me to get in. So, when the guy gave me my passes, we all went in. Makes sense, right? Well, the people in line did NOT think that made sense at all. They started yelling "Hey, we were here first! What time is on your FP? Ours time is before yours! Etc...etc..." They most certainly were NOT there first, and what difference does it make if their time was before ours? We were 20 minutes into our FP return time at this point. We just continued on our sorta merry way.

Teresa told me once we got furthur up in line that he had just reached in his pocket and handed a FP to someone else in the EXACT SAME situation! He did not give them a hard time or make them run back and forth between the FP machines and the entrance. He just handed them an actual FP, which he had in his pocket THE WHOLE TIME! GRRRRRR!!!!

Okay, I tried to put this behind me at this point. Splash Mountain is my VERRRRY favoritest ride!! I LOOOOOOVE me some Splash Mountain. Love, love, love, love, love Splash Mountain!!! This was Tessa's first time on Splash Mountain and I just couldn't wait to experience it with her!! We had been talking about it for months. We also watched the Singalong song where they ride Splash Mountain and she was SOO excited!

Tessa, Arminda, and I sat in the front of the log.

DSC08319_640x480.jpg

How cool! I couldn't remember if you got wetter in the front, in the back, I didn't know. But, who cares! It's Splash Mountain and it was so hot it would feel good to get a little wet. We meandered around for a bit and then I got wet. Not a little wet, my whole butt was soaking wet. Then, it hit me...

I HAD VERY LIGHT COLORED, THIN, PANTS ON!!!!

Oh my gosh, did I ever get my "fret" on at that point. Would they be see-through? What color undies was I wearing? WHITE!! Oh no!!! Those would be see-through, too!! Oh, I could just imagine stepping off the ride, my wet hiney showing through my soaking wet pants.

We continued our way through the ride, but I barely saw any of it...

DSC08320_640x480.jpg

How would I get out of my seat? Was Tessa big enough to cover up my derrier if she stood behind me? No, she's a skinny little thing. How about if I kinda pulled my pants away from my butt as I was walking. Would that help to ease the see-through-ness?

DSC08321_640x480.jpg

I don't have the diaper bag, so I can't wrap the changing pad around me. I'll have to tell Teresa to walk really close behind me. Yes, that's it. I'll tell her to walk right behind me...

Woo...down the drop we go. I hardly got any wetter and I hardly enjoyed it at all. I mean, people are going to be seeing my backside in just a few moments!

We got off the ride and I told Teresa to walk behind me and look and see if she could see through my pants. She's such a dear sister, so of course she did it for me. She said she couldn't tell because we weren't outside yet. So, she stayed close behind me until we got outside. I took a deep breath and stepped a few paces in front of her so she could take a look. This was the moment of truth....

NO! She said NO! She couldn't see through my pants at all! I was SOOO incredibly relieved!! But, I could never get back Tessa's first time on Splash Mountain. :sad2:

We took the obligatory redneck photo of a photo. The picture of ours didn't turn out, but here's the rest of 'em.

DSC08325_360x480.jpg

They look like they're enjoying themselves, without a 2nd thought to see-through pants.

*sigh*

We found Henry having a blast in the play area outside of Splash Mountain.

IMG_1131_640x426.jpg

Well, Sawyer was having a blast, at least!

IMG_1134_640x426.jpg

He was hot and sweaty, but having a grand 'ol time! The other kids played for a while, too.

DSC08328_360x480.jpg

Next: The It's A Small World Bully

Then, we stood around for a moment trying to decide what to do next.

Guess what I have? ::yes:: That's right, I have STANDING AROUND PICTURES!!!

IMG_1143_640x426.jpg

I love how Courtney's looking at her Daddy in this one.

IMG_1142_640x426.jpg

IMG_1144_640x426.jpg

Sawyer was all about Uncle Brian for a little bit. I think Brian enjoyed that!

IMG_1148_640x426.jpg

It was HOT, so one of the family geniuses decided it would be a great idea to get some ice cream treats! We spotted a cart and started taking orders.

I got my favorite Mickey bar, Henry got some fruit thing, and Tessa got this rainbow thing. What's wrong with these people? Don't they know that those things aren't made of chocolate?

Tessa wanted me to feel her forehead because it was "cold".

DSC08332_360x480.jpg

As we were standing there on the bridge, eating our ice cream and popsicles, along came a parade!!! It was SO cool because we hadn't planned it at all, but we got a nice, shaded viewing spot without even trying. It wasn't very close, but we could see it and Tessa exclaimed over each princess as they went by.

IMG_1149_640x426.jpg

IMG_1153_640x426.jpg

It was such a nice time. Really, it was. We were all enjoying ourselves, we had our icy goodness. We were together, we loved each other, and we were a family. :grouphug: We had no particular place to be and were in no hurry to get there (you can't plan for these moments, t-beri ;)).

But, the only problem with having NO plan, is that you inevitably end up at.....

It's A Small World! No!! Not AGAIN!! Oh yes, there was only a 10 minute wait, so we HAD to ride it. I think Teresa and mom had asked someone as we got in line if we could all ride in the same boat. From what they told me, this person acted like they were complete idiots and told them that there was NO WAY we could all fit in the same boat. I thought this was crazy and that they must have heard this person wrong. I mean, there were at least 20 people in each boat, why couldn't we all ride in the same one? We didn't care if they let people in front of us to fill the previous boat or anything.

See what I mean about CMs not liking large groups? We got this kind of treatment almost everywhere we went together.

We got to the front of the line and the guy asked us how many. I told him 15 and asked if we could all ride in the same boat. He got a smirk on his face and said "No." I thought he was just playing around. So, I said "Yeah, we can. You're nice, you'll let us all ride in the same boat." He just crossed his arms and said with a smirk "No way." At this point, I realized he was playing around, but it was a private joke. He was not interested in laughing with us, he was laughing AT us. What a JERK! It's hard to explain, but it was really degrading, the way he was treating us.

Our boat got there and yes, we all got in the same one. Gee...we were forever grateful to the smirking jerk for that one.

There's only so much IASW I can take. Sawyer LOVED it, so that made it more bearable.

DSC08349_360x480.jpg

I was entertaining myself by taking pictures. Tessa! Turn around, I wanna take your picture!

DSC08338_640x480.jpg

Turn around again, I wanna take another one!

DSC08339_640x480.jpg

Yeah, she was thrilled about that! :rotfl:

At least Teresa didn't mind.

DSC08343_360x480.jpg

By this time, the whole family had their cameras out and we were all snapping pictures left and right.

DSC08345_640x480.jpg

It was a picture taking frenzy!

DSCF3059_640x480.jpg

DSCF3051_640x480.jpg

Henry was lovin' it!

DSC08336_640x480.jpg

So were the girls (okay, they actually were enjoying it).

DSC08350_360x480.jpg

Corey was having a rockin' good time. Or, is that hang loose?

DSC08344_640x480.jpg

Yes, another picture. Can you believe there were LOTS of pictures that I didn't even include?!

DSC08337_360x480.jpg

Next: Making Corey Puke and Such

Next up was the teacups. I do NOT do the teacups. I used to like spinny rides. But, one day when Corey was 10 years old or so, he talked me into going on the spinny thing on the carousel (at the mall) with him. That kid spun that thing around so fast I thought I was going to hurl. I was seriously sick for the rest of the day.

I've told Tessa this story and she wanted to avenge her mother. So, she vowed to make Corey sick on the teacups. She has been looking forward to this for at least a year! So, she giddily told Corey that she was going to make him puke and that he was riding with her. He couldn't turn down THAT invitation, of course!

IMG_1172_640x426.jpg

Look at him, trying to look like he's feeling sick!

IMG_1171_640x426.jpg

Being the most wonderful teenager in the world- when he got off the ride, he pretended to throw up in some bushes. This was met with gleeful giggles from several little girls!

Henry is also a spinning ride-hater. So, he sat this one out, too.

DSC08365_360x480.jpg

Casey was pretty tired, so she stayed with her mom who also doesn't like to spin.

DSC08366_360x480.jpg

Our last non-spinner of the day is David. But, it looks like he could fly if he really wanted to!

DSC08368_360x480.jpg

On the way out, we stopped and chatted with a very nice CM in a cart that sells some sort of stuff in between the teacups and Pooh. He was so nice and told Arminda happy birthday and such. Then, he told us a great place to watch Wishes from. He was just so sweet. It's nice to run into a CM like that every once in a while!

We grabbed FP for Pooh, where I got a 2nd set of cards to use in the FP machine since 2 of mine didn't work. It also gave us bonus FP for Philaharmagic! Cool!

There was no wait for Snow White, so we hopped on for a non-spinning, non-coaster ride.

DSC08377_640x480.jpg

Arminda just loved sitting by Sawyer whenever she got the chance!

DSC08378_640x480.jpg

A bunny!!!

DSC08381_640x480.jpg

Buzzards!!

DSC08383_640x480.jpg

Kissy, kissy, smoochy, smooch!

DSC08384_640x480.jpg

After Snow White, we headed over to Philaharmagic. There was no wait, so we didn't need our FP.

Look! I've got walking through the no line pictures!!!

IMG_1174_640x426.jpg

Sawyer had his glasses and was ready and rarin' to go.

IMG_1177_279x480.jpg

We had to wait a while to be let into the theater. So, here's a waiting around in the lobby picture.

IMG_1178_640x426.jpg

Sawyer found the show to be rather shocking!

DSC08385_640x480.jpg

We then headed over to Pooh where it was rather blustery.

DSC08386_640x480.jpg

DSC08387_640x480.jpg

Tessa was excited because she remembered "bouncing like Tigger" from last time.

Sawyer was enthralled with the whole experience.

DSC08388_640x480.jpg

I tried taking a picture where Mr. Toad is handing off the deed, but I ended up taking blurry video instead. But, I did see it and it does exist!

Funny story- Back when Henry and I were rebel teenagers (we were 16 and at Disney with my parents), we rode on Mr. Toad's wild ride. We thought it was fun to reach out and see how much stuff we could touch. Oooh fun!! When the ride was almost over, we saw a guy walking behind us on the tracks. We were more than a little freaked! He said "Hey, you better not touch one more thing or you are going to get escorted off the premises." Yikes! We still giggle about it to this day.

Whodathunk we'd be in that same place again, 17 years later, with our little son riding right between us. :cloud9:

DSC08389_640x480.jpg

*sniff* *sniff*

Moving on...I wanted Sawyer to meet Buzz Lightyear since he was wearing his Buzz shirt, so we headed over to Tomorrowland. However, my plans went awry when I went to get him out of the "magical reclining stroller".

DSC08391_360x480.jpg

But, I did take a picture of him in front of the Space Ranger Spin, at least.

DSC08393_360x480.jpg

Next: Romance on the People Mover

I sat with Sawyer while the family rode. It was about time that Henry got to ride something while I waited with the kid. Besides, Buzz is one of the very few rides he likes.

It was kind of nice, sitting there watching the people go by. I actually really enjoyed it. Everyone came out and wanted to ride again. Mom said she's sit with Sawyer so I could ride this time. I took her up on it, of course!

Lydia showed that alien "what for".

DSC08395_360x480.jpg

It's late and I'm running out of witty captions. So, here's another picture.

IMG_1197_640x426.jpg

I LOVE the people mover, so we rode on that next. Teresa took these pictures of Henry and I from the car in front of us. We had our own "love machine" all to ourselves.

DSCF3061_640x480.jpg

I absolutely love this picture. Look, Henry does love me!

DSCF3062_640x480.jpg

When we came out, the stroller was there, but mom was gone! Hmmm..maybe Sawyer needed his diaper changed? We waited around for a little while and then we saw mom and Sawyer coming out the Buzz exit! Sawyer was holding her hand and hopping and kicking up his feet. I'd say he liked him some Space Ranger Spin!!

Most of us hadn't been to the Laugh Floor, so we did that next. I really knew nothing about it, so I was really looking forward to it. There was no line, but we had to wait a really LOOONG time in the lobby area waiting to be let into the theater. They kept playing this little movie and then we thought they'd let us in. Then they'd say it was going to be x number of minutes. It was a bit much.

But, when they finally let us in, I LOVED the show. I just thought it was too cute. It was a lot of fun to laugh at everyone on the monitors. I'm just glad they didn't pick me! Mom kept saying she thought the kids were just faking their laughter so they'd let us out of there. I dunno about them, but I really thought it was funny!

Alas, there was no flash photography allowed and I always follow the rules...

We all had the munchies after this, so mom and dad treated us to The Noodle Station. I got a really yummy chicken asian type thing. It was really good, and I was really hungry! It was huge, big enough to feed 4 of us. So, I shared with the kids and still had lots left over when I was done with it. Henry polished it off, though. That boy is skinny, but he can EAT!

I went to change Sawyer's diaper and the family got some fun pictures. This one cracks me up! I can just hear my mom saying "Tessa, get over here right NOW!"

IMG_1202_640x426.jpg

This one is so cute! Gotta love my family!

IMG_1205_640x465.jpg

It was time for the fireworks, but instead of going to the special spot the really nice CM told us about, we thought we'd get a pretty good view from right outside the noodle station. I was hesitant because I wanted to beat the crowds back to the monorail afterwards. The other spot was right up by the monorails. We had a LONG day and were REALLY tired. But, the rest of the family wanted to stay here, so we stayed with them.

We had a little time to kill, so my dad took some blurry, in front of the castle, at night photos.

This one turned out really cool, Corey probably took it!

IMG_1222_320x480.jpg

Corey took this lovely photo of my daughter. It's a good thing she's not silly.

Henry was pointing out ducks in the water to Sawyer.

Then, look what we spotted!!!

As you can imagine, the kids were very excited! Not only ducks, but BABY ducks!!!

Sawyer tried on Tessa's hat. At least someone wore it on this trip!

Tessa was tired, but being very good. She just sat on the step next to me waiting for the show to begin.

Next: It's just MAGICAL- shut up!

Finally, it was time!! I have never really seen Wishes. The last time we were here, Tessa was obsessed with Tinkerbell. Aunt Teresa had told her that Tinkerbell would fly off the castle. So, that's all she had talked about for months! When it was time for us to watch Wishes, we were told it was too windy for Tinkerbell to fly. Tessa was heartbroken and hasn't stopped telling people about it since. Once the fireworks started, she freaked out and I had to take her into a bathroom and wait until they were over (she was only 2 at the time). So, this was my first time seeing Wishes!!

I LOOOOVED it!!!

Sawyer was very quiet and occasionally pointed at the pretties!

Teresa said that Tinkerbell looked like a Tinkerbell instead of a "TinkerBILL". However, I thought she was looking rather butch. No matter, we got to see her fly! Tessa was kind of upset because you could see the zip line she was "flying" on from our location. She said "Tinkerbell is just a bunch of lights on a string." But, I told her that Tinkerbell was real and that she was just holding onto the string so she wouldn't blow away. ::yes:: I think she bought it.

Courtney just couldn't contain her excitement, she was "Wow"ing all over the place! It was wonderful!

Tessa kept using her imaginary camera to take pictures, just like me. She just loved the show.

Even the Disney-hater was feeling the magic.

I don't know how to describe it, other than it was just pure joy, pure magic, pure Disney. I'm so glad we stayed right where we were because it was the perfect spot.

You want proof? Here's video.

Yes, I'm crying at the end of it. Corey asks how I liked it and I said "Don't ask me, I'm crying", as I wiped tears from my eyes. I wasn't just teary-eyed, I was practically sobbing with joy and sentimentality. He says "Why?" and I said "Because it's just magical." Then, the boy laughs at me and I tell him to shut up! :rotfl:

Aaaahhh Disney....I love you so...

Next up: Just Call Me Soggy Buns

Great installment. I am one of the few who love It's a Small World and although my DH hates the song, he goes on with me. But the last time we went (in 2005) it was closed and I was in tears. I can't believe all the rudeness of the CM's just because you guys were a big group. I think that's nice that all of you go to go together (I could never go with my SIL and brother's family, she would drive me nuts). I totally would have done the same thing about the wet pants.

Another great update.

I cracked up about the wet pants. That is soooo me. And that is the reason I didn't ride (although I think I was wearing denim capris on that day, but anyway. . .)

We missed Wishes on our trip- gotta fit it in next time.
That picture of you and Henry is PRICELESS! I can see why you love it so much, great pic of you and you husband is gazing at you adoringly- perfection!

We need pics! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ahhh! I loved Wishes and yes I got the goosebumps watching your video! It really is so magical. What special times with your family. :goodvibes

Thanks for the pics and video!! It is just magical. :wizard:

I have memories of being in line for the scooby doo coaster when I was young and pleading with my mom not to make me go on it. ;)

Great installment...I love your accents! (ok, i know to you they aren't accents but to me they are!!!) I learned the hard way at AK not to wear light shorts on AK or MK days. Glad to hear that it didn't turn out to be too much of an "issue" for you! :cool1:

Also glad that there are brave people who take out their cameras on the rides. I'm such a klutz that I'm terrified to do that. Speaking of which, I need to go buy new $10 "Dolce" sunglasses at the mall today since I lost my last pair last weekend on the log flume in Maine.

Great update! It seems like y'all are always standing with the sun in your eyes for photopass pics. Maybe the photographers get a secret thrill out of taking squinty-eyed family pics. What's Philharmagic anyway? Forgive me, I've never been to DW. Those noodles sound delish. When you get a big order of food do you take it home to eat later? I'm thinking of doing that but I don't know if it'd be gross to carry in the parks all day. That pic of Tessa being silly is so cool! I feel you on the crying bit. I'm an easy cryer too. It's just so great when you see the kids having such a magical time. It takes me back to when I believed in the magic too, before all the 'adult responsibilities.'
