Great update! It was well worth the wait! I can't believe you had some cm's who weren't very nice. That is sad that the magic isn't always around! I used to love IASW untill a few years ago my dd who was 2 wanted to go on it about 50 times. Now, I go on in a few times and that is it. I can't take that music but so much! We do love the end with goodbye in all the different languages!

Love the video of the fireworks. I have only seen the MNSSHP fireworks once and dd4 has never seen them and we will do it this year!

How cool! I couldn't remember if you got wetter in the front, in the back, I didn't know. But, who cares! It's Splash Mountain and it was so hot it would feel good to get a little wet. We meandered around for a bit and then I got wet. Not a little wet, my whole butt was soaking wet. Then, it hit me...

I HAD VERY LIGHT COLORED, THIN, PANTS ON!!!!

Oh my gosh, did I ever get my "fret" on at that point. Would they be see-through? What color undies was I wearing? WHITE!! Oh no!!! Those would be see-through, too!! Oh, I could just imagine stepping off the ride, my wet hiney showing through my soaking wet pants.

This sort of happened to me on Kali River Rapids. I never thought about my shorts being see through after the ride. We rode it twice in a row and after we got off the second time, I was pushing the stroller and my SIL was behind me when says, "hey Amy, what color stripes are on your undies?" I didn't get it at first and then she said that she could see them since my shorts were wet. I had on khaki shorts w/pink & brown striped undies. I never dreamed that you would be able to see through khaki short and they weren't made from thin material either. Next time it will be all white undies all the time!

I know! I never even dared to dream of a 14 day trip before this. I'll tell you my secret to getting the Disney-hater to go. I absolutely did NOT want him to be a police officer. So, he agreed to go on this vacation just to butter me up! Plus, we got great deals on everything, so it wasn't terribly expensive.

Great installment. I am one of the few who love It's a Small World and although my DH hates the song, he goes on with me. But the last time we went (in 2005) it was closed and I was in tears. I can't believe all the rudeness of the CM's just because you guys were a big group. I think that's nice that all of you go to go together (I could never go with my SIL and brother's family, she would drive me nuts). I totally would have done the same thing about the wet pants.

Aww..even though I don't share your sentiment about IASW, I would be really upset if Splash Mountain was closed. So, I feel you pain.

Great installment...I love your accents! (ok, i know to you they aren't accents but to me they are!!!) I learned the hard way at AK not to wear light shorts on AK or MK days. Glad to hear that it didn't turn out to be too much of an "issue" for you!

Also glad that there are brave people who take out their cameras on the rides. I'm such a klutz that I'm terrified to do that. Speaking of which, I need to go buy new $10 "Dolce" sunglasses at the mall today since I lost my last pair last weekend on the log flume in Maine.

Great update! It seems like y'all are always standing with the sun in your eyes for photopass pics. Maybe the photographers get a secret thrill out of taking squinty-eyed family pics. What's Philharmagic anyway? Forgive me, I've never been to DW. Those noodles sound delish. When you get a big order of food do you take it home to eat later? I'm thinking of doing that but I don't know if it'd be gross to carry in the parks all day. That pic of Tessa being silly is so cool! I feel you on the crying bit. I'm an easy cryer too. It's just so great when you see the kids having such a magical time. It takes me back to when I believed in the magic too, before all the 'adult responsibilities.'

Yes, I think they called ahead to each other and told the photopass photographers not to take the picture unless the sun was directly in our eyes. I have one that's even worse later on in the TR!

Philaharmagic is a really great 3d movie. It has a bunch of different characters in it, Donald Duck being the main one. It's really cute and there are all sorts of effect, like smells and getting splashed.

No, I wouldn't walk around with the food. I have a "thing" about food going bad. So, if it's out of the fridge for 2 hours, I won't touch it! If I had a little cooler with me, I'd consider it!

We got very little magic from the CMs. We seemed to get more friendliness when we broke off into smaller groups. I just think they see a big group and think we're going to be a PITB. We really try not to be!

What a great update!

I love the video clip of the fireworks. It is too fun to hear the kids saying "Wowwwww!" and "Oooooooh!" And at the end, where you tell Corey to "shut up" I can tell from his little laugh that he is a true sweetheart. There isn't a trace of teenage snottiness in it.

I can't understand why some of the CM's were so unkind. I hope that most of that went unnoticed by the kids.

I love that Tessa loved BTMRR! And that is a great picture of Arminda. I can't believe that guy was such a jerk about FPs! I have had an occasional FP issues at Disneyland and they just wave me through. Sorry about the wet pants scare Splash mountain is Luke's favorite ride. I used to really love it, but at Disneyland in June I went on it and before the big drop I was SOAKED! I'm not too fond of getting wet on rides and I've never gotten that wet on Splash Mountain before! But my pants were dark brown so I was . Sawyer looks soooo sweet on the IASW ride! Tessa is very pretty when she is mad. This will serve her well in life. Boy, that TJ sure looks sunny and cheerful on that ride. Maybe I'll go check out her TR. I bet if I click on it a few times a little of that cheery sunshine will rub off on me. That is too sweet about Corey playing along with the whole puking thing. Does Henry like anything? All right, I get yah now! Teresa FORCES people to read the whole thing because she doesn't let you read one part of the installment at a time! This was really just one update, but I gave each 25 picture post it's own name.

BTMRR- I am embarassed to say how long it took me to figure out what that stood for!

I knew I liked Luke! We have the same favorite ride! I don't remember getting so wet on it in the past, either. But, I've heard a lot of people say they've noticed that. I got wet way before the drop, so I think they added some sprayers or something.

Yes, Henry likes me! Did you see the picture? But, I can't think of much he likes about Disney. You should be scared for Luke! He's already said that when her boyfriend comes to pick her up for a date, he'll have a bullet with his name written on it ready to show him! I think he likes this whole "long distance boyfriend" thing! Seriously, Henry is really NOT a scary guy!

I was impressed that dad actually got some people in his pictures this year. He's getting better! Mom likes to tease him that she gets better pictures with her $89 camera than he does on his $600 SLR!

Great update! We love your trip report and your sister's, too. We are two sisters and a cousin manning this username and we go to WDW together, too, so we know how much fun you guys must have with each other and how much fun your kids with their cousins. Also, thank you for clearing up that dreadful monorail smell! We had always been wondering why elephants seemed to be involved in that operation. BTW, we love all the outfits you and Teresa have made! The prince charming outfit was particularly cute.
