don't laugh...waitlist BCV 11/29-12/6

Okay, we just purchased an add on at BCV and thought, what the heck, let's splurge on a two bedroom instead of the two studios we now have reserved for the above time period. There are only 5 or 6 of us, probably won't cook, have a huge garden tub at home, but we like the idea of having the washer and dryer and just being, well, together!!

Of course, we were waitlisted when I called today. I figured I had nothing to lose since we already have the two studios. Those who have tried before, what kind of hope do we have?

Anyone else have "words of wisdom" from previous waitlist experience this particular time of year?

I've never been waitlisted for that time of year, but I have been waitlisted for early Janaury and it came through.

My best advice would be to call them occasionally to check on how you're doing on the waitlist. Sometimes, a little friendly conversation makes you stick out in someone's mind, and you'd be amazed what happens.

That time of year is very popular, especially at the Epcot resorts. Lowest DVC points combined with all the Christmas activities. Good Luck on the waitlist!

Great idea. Our experience with waitlists during busy times is they usually clear about 30-35 days out as cancellations come in. You can also waitlist at other DVC's too, one or all, to increase your chances at bigger accomodations. Good luck!
