don't know if i'm elated or gassy, but i'm somewhere in that zone...fall 2014 PTR

Don't feel too bad, we have alllllll been seriously lacking in the dis dept:rotfl2:

The end of the year is rough!!! We have our recital tonight so this is basically my only time I will be on the computer all weekend :rotfl:

LOVE the dresses, as always!!!

So excited for y'all to be able to spend some more time together

Joining In...Sounds like a great trip.

We did MNSSHP when mine were about those ages (4, 2, and 10 months). They dressed in a hula skirt, a kimono & a kilt and they were Small World dolls...

Have fun! I'll be following. :thumbsup2

:welcome: i'm always so excited when someone new joins in! thanks for reading along!

I love the costumes you did for your kiddos! as soon as I started reading, I thought small world. I bet they were adorable! any tips on the party and kids? i'm so excited for it!!!

told ya i'd be back soon! and with a bunch of pictures too! tonight was movie night and we watched wall-e!

i decorated with lots of stars, since it mostly happens in space, and got some balloons at the dollar store. i also hung up a globe that Hannah made at school. she thought it was pretty awesome that i used some of her art work.

rich even got in on the decorating and drew eve and wall-e (and that OCD cleaning guy) on the girls chalkboard.

i put out our placemats with plant-ish designs on them, let the girls use fancy glasses, and put these little light up stars (gotta love the dollar store) on the girls trays.

for dinner we had wall-e shaped grilled cheese, eve deviled eggs, moon and stars fruit salad and green plant green beans.

i wanted to use star fruit for the stars in the fruit salad, but i couldn't find any at the store. instead, i cut up some kiwi and the peach slices are the moons.

for dessert, i took the cheaters way out (just did not feel like baking today). i bought chocolate cupcakes from the store, scraped off the ugly yellow frosting and put on chocolate frosting so they'd look like dirt. then i stuck a spearmint leaf on the top and we had plant cupcakes!

Hannah loves the movie!

Madison, who was so excited after i started decorating the room, fell asleep about 10 minutes in (yes, she did the same thing last movie night--we need to do a movie MORNING for her, i think! :rotfl: ) so i guess we'll be watching it again tomorrow. but, i think it was another success!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again!

This is going to be the BEST TRIP EVERRRRR!!!

Yeeee! I can't wait to hang out!! I've been having so much fun creating things with you and it's gonna be so freakin' AWESOME!

I still have my fingers crossed that Jackie get the BOG ADR she wants and is able to join us at HS too!! I just can't even!! Squeeeeeee!!!!

I swear I'm dreaming about it! No joke, I had a dream about us arriving at Disney, and I was totally like "ok let me text Lori and tell her were here!" LOL!!

Your sewing skills are mad, lady, MAD!!! The Sven shirt is adorbs, I was gonna tell you it'd be easy for me to whip up a Sven silhouette shirt if you need but you are way ahead of me! I need to get crackin! My Halloween costumes have been on the back burner, I need to get going on them!

Jackie: I didn't know you guys did dance! It's almost recital time for us to, next month! Eeeeep!

Welcome back!

LOVE your movie night... and I love Rich's drawings! So talented! Looks like a great time!

I also LOVE your new plans! I'm sure you'll love Pop... and I can't wait to stay there VERY soon! And how exciting you'll be there with Terri. Going to Disney is exciting enough, but when you'll be there with someone you "know" it's even more exciting!

And your dresses your made for her girls are adorable!

And great costume ideas for MNSSHP! Can't wait to see the pictures of the final product!

LOVE everything! When I saw the Anna dress on Facebook I was wondering if it was for Terri , CUTE! They both turned out really great. There is something about the colors of Anna's outfit, I love them together!
Fun movie night! We have not seen Walle yet. It looks like it is really good, we need to add it to our rotation. I like your fruit salad, very clever!
Glad your back! seems like everyone is taking a break from the dis lately, it's been kind of slow!

popcorn:: Love the movie nights and the dresses and sewing creations!!!!

I just read your last trip report and this pre trip report. They are so much fun!
I HAVE to get some of that Anna/ Elsa fabric. So cute!
And the things you have made are awesome! As are the things Terri made for you! I need to get sewing for my November trip!

I totally second that--best trip ever!!!!! just wish we'd be there together longer and still hoping Jackie and fam can join us on Saturday!

lol! dreaming of Disney--nothing wrong with that!

I love that sven shirt! it's sort of expensive for one shirt (like $25), but I really think it's so cute! I have a total shirt problem now! I want one that says "reindeer are better than people" and I saw one that said "wait....what?" like anna always says. I also found a couple of cute ones on zazzle, one vanellope that i'm getting and some princess ones that are cute. if i'm not careful, i'll have a whole Disney wardrobe pretty soon and we'll have to add days to our trip just so I have a chance to wear all my shirts to a park! lol!

Lol at the car mocking you!

Love the Anna dress the best!!!

I love the colors in the anna dress--they're so bright and fun! and I love all the sparkle and beads on the elsa. now I get to make them again for Hannah and Madison, plus frozen inspired skirts to wear with anna and elsa tshirts. I think our living room will be covered in sparkles again soon!

thanks! i'm excited to see her girls in them! and to make more for our girls. i'm excited to get our costumes together and get pictures in the park!

we love wall-e. I wasn't sure if the girls would like it or not. it's sort of different for them, not much talking at the beginning, and you sort of need to pay attention to understand what's happening. I explained some to them as we watched and they seemed to get it. Hannah thought a lot of it was super funny. I think they liked it a lot. you'll have to watch it sometime.

thanks--I sent the dresses to terri yesterday, so hopefully they'll have them by the middle of the week and we'll see pictures!

Joining in and catching up ::wave::!

yay! :cool1: so glad you're back!

popcorn:: Love the movie nights and the dresses and sewing creations!!!!

:welcome: thanks for joining in and thanks for the compliments! I am loving doing the movie nights and have a few more sewing projects to get too. stay tuned!

wow--thanks for reading all my stuff! i'm glad you liked it all and :wave2: welcome to my PTR, glad to have you along!

thanks! I always have so much fun making things before our trips, and luckily the girls still like wearing it! terri is awesome! I love our shirts and shoes! she's one talented lady!

I'm laughing because I had a similar resort debate last September when free dining was announced! We were booked at Pop and paying to upgrade to the DDP from the quick-service plan so I was debating just bumping us up to Caribbean beach! In the end, I decided it was worth saving a little extra money and staying at Pop! I think you guys will love it! It's a great resort We requested the 60s section and didn't pay for preferred rooms or anything and we were in the last room of the 60s building closest to the bridge to AoA so it was super close to the pool and food court without being too loud! Plus, it was really easy to walk over and check out AoA! :yay:

Those Anna and Elsa dresses are gorgeous!

Ahh Wall-E-- I haven't seen that movie in so long! Your husband's drawings were REALLY good!

Ahh- how absolutely freakin' adorable are those dresses & the Olaf costume!!! Did I tell you I think I'm doing Olaf as one of my Running costumes? Probably the Haunted Trails 5K that proceeds the ToT run.

Yhea for Pop. I like that resort. It's fun & your girls will love it! Even better that you are having Dis Friend meet-ups! So much fun!!!!!

LOVE the Wall-E party! The cupcakes with the little leafs are seriously cute! I like how your dog was trying to get in the action too! Fun night!!! What movie is next?!?

I think you will have a blast at Pop!

Love the costumes!

YAY Wall-E, love that movie! Your husband's drawings are fantastic. And what a cute idea for the cupcakes.

Loving the frozen attire! :)

I just got the boys' matching Olaf shirts for our weekend next month.. I will have to talk with you about some outfits for them for our FEB/march trip next year! :)

Love the movie night decor too. I wish I was that creative!

Totally didn't comment on the POP thing. POP is my FAVORITE!! I kinda don't wanna stay anywhere else. Lol feels like "home" to us :)
Hope you love it!

Hi there! I've begun reading your PTR and I'm going to be following along now. I'm also from the St. Louis area; I'm 12 miles outside of the city on the Illinois side of the river. I've two boys, 8 and 5 years old, and we're going to Disney for the boys' second trip this November. It's going to be a surprise trip for them, so I'm dying to talk to people about this trip since I have to keep my mouth shut at home!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I'm looking forward to reading!

have you seen this????

it says tickets are available for almost all the venues, but I haven't figured out how to buy them for St. Louis. the dates aren't listed on the website yet, but I'm going to keep checking!

and, just in case any of you St. Louis disser's aren't getting enough Disney planning your trips and hanging out on here, here are a couple more opportunities....

**Sleeping Beauty will be at the Skip Viragh Center at Chaminade june 18-29

lol--I'm always glad to know that I'm not the only crazy one switching plans constantly! I'm really excited about Pop! people seem to really like it.

thanks--I can't wait to get started on ones for the girls now!

I think he's an awesome artist! he's a perfectionist and never happy with what he does, but I love them! I was a little sad to let the kids erase them finally....

thanks! I'm clearly having too much fun sewing! I think I did read that you are being olaf in one of the runs. you are a brave soul! if I went out in all that white, I'd find the only mud puddle and fall right in! :rotfl:

I don't know what's more exciting--Pop or dis-meets! dis-meets!!

thanks! our next movie night is 101 dalmations for our 101st day on the countdown! I all of a sudden have a crazy idea to have a princess tea party and invite friends and watch enchanted too.....plans are swirling around my head!

I think you will have a blast at Pop!

Love the costumes!

YAY Wall-E, love that movie! Your husband's drawings are fantastic. And what a cute idea for the cupcakes.

I am really loving all my Disney sewing! I might even sneak in a dress for myself!

I love wall-e too! it's such a good movie!

I'm really looking forward to exploring Pop. maybe we've found our new favorite!

Loving the frozen attire! :)

I just got the boys' matching Olaf shirts for our weekend next month.. I will have to talk with you about some outfits for them for our FEB/march trip next year! :)

Love the movie night decor too. I wish I was that creative!

thanks! I would love to make something for boys! I'm so used to girl stuff (which, don't get me wrong, is so fun with the sparkles and ruffles!) it'd be fun to try something different!

I am in love with movie nights now! I think it's going to become a regular thing at our house. you should do one. you really don't have to do much (I think I spent $5 at the dollar store) and the kids just love it because you make a big deal about it).

Totally didn't comment on the POP thing. POP is my FAVORITE!! I kinda don't wanna stay anywhere else. Lol feels like "home" to us :)
Hope you love it!

I'm really excited to check out a new place! I think it'll be a fun stay for sure!
