i just discovered Royal Pacific allows dogs & am debating taking our Yorkipoo Fang (yes, named after that Fang!) with us in September

i’ve read all i can online but am looking for some personal experiences

what did you do with your dog while you went to the parks? can dogs hang at the pool? (she’s 7 lbs if that matters) what did your days look like? any tips tricks advice? i’d love to know any details you have if you’ve done a universal trip with your fur baby

Sorry, not the best pic - I actually found this online, but this looks to be the same info we got when we moved my daughter and her cat for grad school last summer.

Never stayed at Royal Pacific but have stayed at Hard Rock dozens of times with our dog. We have a large, oversized for our small dog, wire collapsible crate that our dog stays in when we are out of the room, i.e. parks, golf, dinner, shopping. Housekeeping has never had a problem cleaning the room as long as our dog was in the crate. I don't believe dogs are allowed in the pool area. Our normal day is walk the dog, go to breakfast, our dog takes a nap in the crate, walk the dog again before we head out for the day. Place our dog in the crate with her pillow and blanket, treats and water and enjoy our day. We return to the room usually mid afternoon and walk her again. Then she hangs with us in the room the rest of the day until we go to dinner, then she takes another nap in her crate while we go out. Once we return to the room one more walk before bed. She loves it. Everyone makes a fuss over her, she gets a lot of exercise and enjoys new smells, long car ride to and from Orlando and best of all no boarding. It's her vacation too. We and our dog enjoy our vacation not worrying about how she is doing. We wouldn't do it any other way. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Thank you for this!

We’ve taken ours and it was a great trip. He stayed in the room while we were at the park. We took his crate but left the door open. Room keeping will only clean the room if the dog is out of the room so you can call them when you go walk the dog. Dogs are NOT allowed by the pool for sanitary purposes. They receive a small water/food bowl and a plastic bone shaped holder for poop bags. All the staff are dog friendly, seem to love it actually. You are not allowed to take your fur baby to City Walk but seem to be able to walk them around the resort (lobby, etc.) just not pool area. We had a great experience with our fur baby on the trip! Enjoy!
