What sort of things do they make and do you enjoy it or just bare eatting it cause they prepared it?

Only once in a while things out on the grill. Otherwise all indoor cooking is done by me :)

I usually dress for dinner :rotfl:

DH cooks every Tuesday and Friday because I work the latest. His specialty is taco's and anything on the grill. He has makes spaghetti, but the sauce is sauce that I have previously prepared.

NEVER, did you hear me say NEVER? It's a hot button. If he cooks, we are ordering food in, that's his cooking.

My husband had cooked last night, and he made pad thai, papaya salad, and seared blackened fish-yum my favorites.
Other then that, my husband does cook from time to time but I usually do.

When we were first married (16 years ago) we made a deal thet whoever cooks doesn't have to clean the kitchen. We still stand by that deal.

That being said, I usually do the cooking. But DH is not a bad cook. He does grill a lot, but can also handle basics like baked chicken, meatloaf, or something like that.

I'm the better cook of the two of us (DW is the better baker), so yeah, I cook for us and yep, DW loves my cooking. :)

DH cooks 3 times a week, the days I go into the office. We have same rule as JetMom, whoever doesn't cook cleans up. DH is not an adventurous cook sticks to basics. Roast beef, chicken, pork chops, anything he can grill.

Yup, DH does about 75% of the cooking in our house. He also has been known to do laundry, dishes and run a vacuum occasionally. (all thanks to the Air Force, I am sure!) I am a blessed woman! :D

He cooks on weekend nights sometimes. He likes to try out new recipes, but some of his regulars are fish fries, spagetti and meat sauce, lasagna, quesadillas on the grill and pizza. He thinks his homemade pizza is the bomb, but everytime he brings up the idea to make it, I cringe. He over cooks it everytime so that the cheeze turns brown and the crust is dry as a fart. (Can I say fart? )

My DH cook!   you are too funny. :p His idea of cooking is picking up the phone and calling for a pizza. Problem is he knows how to cook and is a real good cook(studied and worked as an apretience (sp?) chef when he was younger).

there are certain meals that I cook and certain meals that she cooks..and some meals that we cook together, 2 teenagers do the cleanup....::yes:: ::yes::

and when we aren't rushed to prepare a meal, we take the time to teach the 2 kids how to cook..17yr old female, 14 year old male.. they will never starve due to lack of cooking skills...

I love to cook, so I made it quite clear before we got married, that I would share the kitchen, but never give it up....LOL

DH just took over the cooking and cleaning up just recently. I love it. I don't care what he makes, as long as the kids are fed a pretty healthy dinner. It frees me up so much, I hope he continues.

DH will cook if asked. Usually tacos. Sometimes mashed potatoes and banquet turkey. He can cook, just doesn't do it very often. He does all the laundry, homework, meal clean-up and grass cutting. He will also do any other cleaning if I ask. I can't complain. He is wonderful

My husband cooks about half the time. He is pretty good at it. My favorite is his steaks. He does the plain stuff and I do the casseroles and the like.

I love my db's cooking and feel so special when he cooks for me...especially since i don't think my ex cooked once for me. He makes my favorite chicken dish - it's Indian inspired and spicy!!! YUMMY!! :D

DH cooks for me about once every couple months or so. Tonight just happened to be one of those nights...made Prego pasta bake with breadsticks. Yes, I love it when he cooks, even when it turns out not-so-good just because it wasn't me who had to do it.:D
