The thought of having ones toenails flipped back totally freaks me out! I get that woozy feeling in my stomach and a tingling sensation goes down through my legs. Happens anytime someone wearing open toed shoes opens the door to go into a store or restaurant. It's all because that very thing happened to my oldest DS when he was 3yrs old at McDonalds and he wanted to open the door to go in.
My son had "turf toe" happen is soccer. He kicked the floor along with the ball and bent his nail on his big toe half way back. Nasty!
