Does Pixie Dust Help with Decision-Making? A 2012 PTR! NEW! 6/30 pg.85

I'm glad that everything worked out in the end. That would have been a very frustrating situation.

Glad that you enjoy them Jackie! MeMom is pretty awesome. ;)

I'm here...very, very late...but since there's still over 6 months to go, I should be ok.

Wow, what an ordeal with the package, but I'm glad it found it's way home and you liked what was inside! :goodvibes

I am awfully glad, too!

:faint:

I wonder if that is the address that Anita came up with.

As long as it got there, I'm good with however it did it.

Not really.
I would rather it have been a lot easier. ;)

It was very strange that it was the address that Disney came up with...

I love all of your new gifts, Jackie! The smile on your face is so contagious! :goodvibes

Thank you!!!

I missed all the drama about the package, but I'm so glad it wound up where it was supposed to be!

Good job on chosing the pieces Memom! I'm so glad you liked them Jackie!

I love, love, love them! I just have to find the perfect spot for them now.

That is some story.

I wonder what the whole story from Disney Merchandising??? The box may or may not have made the rounds. It did probably stay put at Zawadi and mmaybe some detective CM did some work to come up witht that address. :confused3

I think I have Jackie's address somewhere too.

Not sure if it new, old or even right.

So glad Disney Pixie dust worked. :wizard:

It's the right one because you sent a very sweet sympathy card a couple of months ago.

Oh my word!! MeMom, I bet you were really panicking! Things happen though, don't worry about it. I'm so happy the package found its way home to Jackie however. :goodvibes

Me too because I love all of it!

The story behind the package makes it even more special. They could make a Disney movie out of the adventures of the missing package, with a pixie dust ending.:goodvibes

::yes::

Oh Jackie, those sure are wonderful gifts. I s.aw them on FB, but since it was on my phone I couldn't see them very well. How nice of the Dis friends to send them to you!:grouphug:

My DH would be happy to never go back to WDW. I make him go, he does have a good time, but would rather do Vegas! Not high on my list of favorite places to go.:headache:

I think Charles would like to go to Vegas, but I have never given him that option. LOL!

I am now curious about the address for MIL....
I'll just bet it was the first one that I came with from my online search.

That Chili recipe looks delicious! Do you get many ideas from that website? I love all the pictures!!!

I do get a lot of recipes from Pioneer Woman -- they are all delicious. I have her cookbook, too.

Thank you for the Chili recipe it looks simply delish!! Going to buy supplies and give it a go this week!!!!

Hope you like it -- it's our favorite one.

Oh Memom--what an adventure...were you thinking the whole time "no good deed goes unpunished?" I am so glad it all worked out in the end.

Jackie- Did you get a postcard? :rotfl2:

I feel left out; I don't have Jackie's address or her MIL's! :lmao:

 I would be happy to give you both, Debby!

I'm glad that everything worked out in the end. That would have been a very frustrating situation.

Glad that you enjoy them Jackie! MeMom is pretty awesome. ;)

Yes, she is!!!

Hi, Cherie! I am so pleased to have you here! Yes, since there isn't even a definite trip here, there is plenty of time to catch up. LOL!

Happy Halloween Eve!

Thought I would share some of the fall fun we have been having.

Last weekend, we went to the pumpkin patch. Chelsea wanted to choose the biggest pumpkin, but after I told her no, I think she managed to find the second biggest pumpkin.

Every day on our way to Chelsea's school we pass by fields and fields of cotton. I had the "brilliant" idea that I wanted to take Christmas card pictures in the cotton -- I figured we could say something like "Christmas Greetings from Georgia" on them. Since both kids were looking reasonably neat, the day was gorgeous, and I had the camera, we stopped by them on the way home from the pumpkin patch.

Of course, nothing can ever be done without a bit of drama so the entire episode was filled with Connor complaining about the sun being in his eyes, Chelsea dancing her way deep into the field, and Charles champing at the bit because he wanted to get home to see one of the many football games he insists on watching.

We did manage to get a few cute ones -- the cards themselves arrived yesterday.

Here are a couple that didn't make the cut.

So Chelsea -- she wanted to do this pose.

Yesterday we had family over for our annual pumpkin carving and cookie decorating (I always use Happydog's sugar cookie recipe and get rave reviews for it :goodvibes).

See what happens when Chelsea insists on a big pumpkin -- I had to stand on a chair to see the top.

No matter how old Chelsea gets, she still whines the whole time she is cleaning out her pumpkin.

Connor is all business when it comes to his pumpkin.

Chelsea did bats.

Connor did a googly-eyed ghost.

The gang with their pumpkins -- I told them to look like their pumpkins.

Then there was cookie decorating.

I like to call this one "Charles and Jackie 4-Ever." (We may have gotten a little silly as the night wore on.)

Hope everyone has a great Halloween! Here is a little Disney magic for the day (I love this!)

Silly Symphony The Skeleton Dance

That story has my head spinning. I think I would have had an ulcer.
Glad it got to you Jackie and Memom has some relief now. We are booked from 5/26-6/5 ( I think, I will have to check). I would love to meet the CP gang!
Have a great Sunday!

Love the pumpkin picture where everybody posed like their pumpkins. Too cute!

LOL. We were posting at the same time and I missed your update. I saw your pictures on FB and thought how fun it would be to live at your house.
Love the pics in the cotton fields. I have always been fascinated by cotton fields. They are so neat! Love the pumpkins and cookies!

Fun pictures of your pumpkin adventures!!

Crazy story about getting that package to you Jackie!! I'm so happy that it came to the right place in the end.

You know, I was thinking, once a while back I had been on the phone with WDW - probably for reservations, and they had my MIL's name with our address. It was all mixed up - I think because we had made reservations and used our email/home address but had her name too. We still get mail from Disney for her. Drives me crazy because it's often a PIN code in HER name only!!!! Now she can't travel with us so we can't use them. :(

Makes me wonder if she's been getting mail for us too????

I love the pumpkins and the cookies! So cute! Please post the sugar cookie recipe. I'm looking for a new one. :goodvibes

The cotton field photos are beautiful!

Are you dressing up tomorrow?

Love Love your Halloween traditions!!!!! Can I come to your house next year?? Oooh Happydog has a sugar cookie recipe?!?!? Hmmmm think I need to contact her and get to share it with me LOL!!!!

Love how the pumpkins turned out...WAY tooo cute!!

The pictures in the cotton field are just awesome! What a great idea!

MeMom - That's a pretty wild story of shipping packages

Jackie - Your pumpkins are so cute! I love the cotton field pictures idea, what a great background!

Jackie, it sure looks like a fun day at your house! Happydog's sugar cookies are yummy, so I know yours were too!
I love the pic of Jackie and Charles forever!

I think the idea of "Greetings from Georgia" was genius! You got some terrific pictures of the kids!

I had to laugh at you up on that chair cutting the pumpkin. :lmao: I would have have been up there too.

Looks like you had a great time with cookies and pumpkins.

Happy Halloween

Jackie, I'm so happy that you loved all your gifts!! You truly deserve them!!

Your family is always so festive and into the holidays! I can't wait to have kids of my own...I may just steal some of your traditions, including the pumpkin carving! You're so funny, standing on the chair to cut the top of the pumpkin

I started a Disneymoon PTR today! If you're interested, pop on over!

Jackie- love the account of the day. It really reminds me of the drama we go through and for some reason I keep up the traditions... :confused3 :rotfl:

(We went to our annual pumpkin farm destination two weeks ago--it was 80 degrees and everyone was miserable! Needless to say, no pumpkins because we were worried about them lasting. Then, yesterday, the day we could have picked up pumpkins, it snowed - five inches!)

I love the pose of Chelsea!! I can't wait to see the actual Christmas card!

Great cookies! I want some of your energy and patience!

The pumpkins turned out great! :thumbsup2

I agree with Chelsea...I don't like the pumpkin goo either.

Our family has fun carving pumpkins too only I got mine at the local grocery store. No time to get to the pumpkin patch this year. :upsidedow

What an awesome idea for your Christmas cards!
I remember seeing cotton growing for the first time when I moved down south.
I was so excited...not something I had ever seen before. Very cool!
My son's kindergarten teacher gave me an angel tree ornament made of cotton that I still have to this day. I adore it! :goodvibes

Memom ....what an ordeal getting the package sent. Thank you for all your efforts.
I'm so glad it all worked out. Shall I dare say with a little Disney Magic! ;)

I'm a little late, but Jackie that smile on your face just warms my heart

Thank you MeMom - great job!:thumbsup2

Your pics of the kids with the pumpkins and in the cotton were very sweet! Love the family jack O'Lantern pics! Everyone did a great job looking like their pumpkins!

Jackie, so glad you got your gift! MeMom did a great job picking out the gifts. I am glad you liked them.

Love the pumpkins and cookies!

What pretty fields of cotton.

Again, you amaze me with all of your creative family craft/food ideas!!

The witches are so cute, especially the witch-in-laws that you posted on facebook!

The pumpkin shot with them all looking like their pumpkin is priceless!! :rotfl:
