Does Everyone Get a Resort ID?

Just wondering if everyone in your party gets a resort ID, including children under 3 years.

Anyone with experience in this area?

Yes, they will provide room ID's for everyone in your party without regard to age. You can select which cards, if any, you wish to have charging privilege. If you feel your two year-old won't need a room ID, you don't need to have one made for them, however.

We're thinking very seriously about buying in. Our sales rep tells us we get "all normal visitor privileges." I can see that this includes an ID card that you can use to charge within the parks. Does it also include having park souvenir purchases delivered to your DVC room?

Welcome to the DIS, rocketriter!

Yes, park purchases can be delivered to your DVC resort- just like all other WDW resorts. They may take them to the front desk for pick-up, but they will deliver to the resort. All privileges of staing onsite are extended to guests staying at DVC resorts- plus some additional perks like pool hopping and free valet service at DVC resorts. Free Theme Park parking is also included as it is for all other onsite guests.

On our last trip to OKW my sister & six-year old niece joined us the second day we were there. Before we arrived I added both names to the reservation. While waiting for them to arrive, I picked up their room keys. The front desk CM said I did not have to add the child's name or get her a room key - my choice. I knew my niece would like her own room key (without charging privileges). She would run ahead of us to open the door - she thought she was special & helping us out!
