a contract to another person? I was told this could not be done, yet they allow us to leave it in a will.

you can change your deed to include the other person - but it will cost you alot. I was told mind would be $850.

I don't know about trying to change your deed without Disney getting involved.

I just make reservations for my other person - that works fine for both of us.

I am not sure if they do. If they don't one easy solution would be to sell your points, then buy another set of points in the other persons name. You could also give your points away buy "selling" them and just not taking any money. You might end up paying taxes this way, and it might be illegal.

not with Disney buyback program - you can't - price it below market value and Disney will buyback. (we looked into this)

Disney right of first refusal does not apply to gifts. You can give your interest to another. You will need to go through transfer of any necessary deed and make required real estate recordings and Disney will need to be informed of transaction so it can make the change of ownership on its records.

In order to transfer the deed there can't be any leins against it--you can't owe money on the contract. It must be completely paid off, and the dues must be paid up in order to transfer them to another person. We have taken over the payments on our daughter's contract, due to job salary roll-backs(she works for United), but couldn't even get our names on the contract unless it was paid for, although we have charging priveledges. So we have decided to take out a home equity loan so that we can get the legal details straightened out, and have the contract put into our names.
