We need to access our email while we will be a BCV. Do they have computers somewhere on the property for this. We need to access and send email through our aol account.

Does anyone know where on disney property they are located and if there is a charge and how much?

Thanks

There may be some PC's at the conference center at the Boardwalk. BCV does have high-speed access in the rooms for $9.95 a day if you bring your laptop...

MrsG,

I think most resorts now have internet kiosks somewhere in there hotel lobbies. My DW has used one at OKW before. It was located with the rest of the coin/charge phones. It was between the front lobby and Oliva's.

Before there was internet at some of the resorts, she would use this to access her online accounts.

I would call BCV GS and ask.

The computers are in the Business Center at the Yacht Club. You can use them for a fee, don't remember how much. :wave2:

If you're getting a PAP or planning to go to Quest, the internet cafe is on the 4th floor. It's free, but you can't print anything out. VB charges $5.00/ 30min and it shuts down right at 30min whether you're done or not. Not sure if WDW resorts are similar.

Sadly not anymore. They removed them ALL, even the ones in the parks, much to the chagrin of my teenagers. We used to stop at one of those kiosks (in BWV they were in with the phone banks on the lobby floor) at least 3 times a trip so they could stay in touch with their internet buddies.

Sometime prior to 5/04 (they were there for my trip in 1/04, gone by the next trip I took that same May) all of the kiosks were removed. I asked why and was told they were more trouble to maintain than they were worth.

The only convenient way to get online now (other than bringing your own laptop of course) is to use one of the business centers. BWV has one, as do some of the other resorts. I have also read that you can get internet access at Disney Quest.

I miss those kiosks--they were MUCH cheaper and more convenient than the Business Centers (Business center at BWV is $10 for 15 minutes, yikes!)

Seems like DVC should add this service, even for a fee. Too often people need to check thier communication on the internet.
