Does anyone want to join the 120's Club?

I'm back to try again. I was sick for the last 10 days and didn't exercise a bit. I gained 2 pounds. :mad: DH booked a short get-away to Disney in 5 weeks. My total focus is to lose 6 pounds by then. I WILL be at 129 WHEN I succeed! Thanks for letting me check in and read all of your wonderful stories. It helps motivate me more than you'll ever know.:hug:

I'm trying to motivate myself to get started. I was supposed to start before the Superbowl, but that didn't happen.:goodvibes

On the positive side of things, DH wants to lose weight with me, so we can be partners in this. He needs to lose about 40 pounds and I should lose at least 50 pounds.:scared1

I have chicken breasts and veggies planned for dinner tonight. Keepin' it healthy!

I hear ya about the babies....those precious little angels can be hard on the ol' figure. My body looks like a balloon that's been blown up and deflated a couple of times!:lmao:

I was down to 124 a little of 2 years ago and since then I have yo-yo so much that my body really doesn't like me. I injured my back and it all went to heck. I've been back on plan (SBD) for 3 weeks now and have lost 6 lbs :cool1:

This month is going to be very stressful with an audit at work and a new job on the horizon (just gave my notice) :hourglass

I have started walking/running again with the encouragement from my WISH training friends here on the Dis. I've done well today just need to keep it up :thumbsup2
 

I've been good with the excercise...but I've been binging a bit due to my TOM and stress from a possible promotion at work. On a plus note..I've told myself that if I get this job I'm going to get nutrisystems for a month and I'll be in a more flexible work environment to eat better. Not to mention...I'll be doubling my income!!! Wish me luck!!!!

Stacy - I deal with the "you don't need to diet" attitude every day with the ladies in the office. AND they are the ones who bring in the cookies, chex mix, breads, etc every day of the week. I have no will power when it comes to snacks at work. I swear the 10 lbs I put on over the holidays was just from work alone! Keep your head up! Hopefully, in time, they will follow your lead!
 
I just found this thread and I want to join! I am a member of the WW at home thread that's been going since Jan. 1. I started at 152 lbs. and am at 142-143 lbs. now. I'd love to be at 125-127 lbs. I am 5'5". I would like to be at my goal by the end of May. I am going on a cruise in June and would like to be on maintenance by then.

I am trying to take the weight off slowly so that it will stay off. I'm also trying to do it sensibly so that I can train myself to eat right and not put it back on like I've done so many times before. I've been exercising so much more this time around and really feel better about it. DH and I have a goal to run/walk a 5K in April and that is pushing me to work out even harder. I am looking forward to accomplishing that goal.

I keep repeating the mantra: "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels."

I would love to get back to the 120's! I have always struggled with my weight. After my 3rd child, at 190 pounds, I decided that was it. I was tired of being "fat" and wanted to feel good about myself. It took some time but I managed to get to around 150 on my own. I stayed at that weight for a while until I started WW. I managed to drop the wieght and get below my goal of 135. At my lowest I was 128, which is perfect for me.

After a 7 night Disney cruise last May and 2 weeks in WDW last July, I put some weight back on and I stopped weighing in at WW. Now I am above goal and no longer lifetime. :sad:

I just weighed myself yesterday morning and I am back up to 146. I need to stop gaining!!! So, today I am making it official. I will be 128 by June. That is my goal.

I want to join! I feel like I fit in pretty well here... I am 5'1'' weighing in at 137-138 right now, and my goal is 125. For my height and body type, I think 125 would be healthy, slim, and athletic, without being skinny. I've been losing consistently, but slowly (I was 144, three months ago). I'd like to kick up the weight loss and lose the last 12 pounds in 6 weeks! We want to start trying for children in about 7-10 weeks, so I need to use this time wisely! I already have a job that is physically strenuous (dancing and stunt work), plus I'm planning on taking a gymnastics class for a month or so. I also run, and that helps me to lose weight the most, I think. I count calories (not on a specific diet plan) and try to eat good foods. I want to get buff, especially defining my arms and abs, as well as toning up all over.
I'm going home to visit my family in three weeks, and I'd like to be between 130 and 133 when I go, so that is 4-7 pounds in three weeks, which should be doable. I have a wish journal, but I'll update on here, so that hopefully I can talk to people who have similar goals as me.

Thanks for the support guys. I took my fustration over to that "Nutrisystem size 2 ad" thread and tried a lil PSA.....

Now back to my diet....I busted through the 140 wall, but no one mentioned there was another at 137! LOL
 
Broke through the 140 door! Phew! 137-ish, now.

I broke through today! 139.5. I'll take it! I'm down a full eight pounds. Only 12.5 to go. :)

I've been PMS'ing, so have been craving chocolate. I got a Ghiradelli gift basket from my boss for Christmas, and there was a box of dark chocolate drops in it. So I've been letting myself have four each night as dessert--total calories in four is only 72. Because I allow them to slowly dissolve in my mouth I can stretch them out for about half an hour or so. Very satisfying!

OK..so I was down 1.5 lbs this week, but I'm still not quite on track. I'm starting back the Wendi Plan tomorrow. It's too hard to stick to 20 pts when all your friends are going to the bar for beers at 2 pts a pop. The Wendi Plan is good for that...I can just go to the bars on my high days. So...wish me luck...I need to stick to it!!
 
Enlighten me on the Wendi Plan. I'm doing Weight Watchers and I have to agree that 20 pts. is soooo hard to stick to. I know other people who are doing WW and they are getting like 26-28 pts. I'm trying to find all the 0 pt. foods I can, but you can only eat so many carrots and sugar-free jell-o.

Hello Everyone. This would be the perfect thread for me IF I wasn't pregnant! BUT, if you don't mind, I may just follow along and add my 2 cents!! I'm currently 12 weeks preg., due in Aug., and have only gained 1 lbs. so far. I'm at 133. 3 years ago, I was at 133 did South Beach, got down to 122, I LOVED it!! I had been a 4 all my life from working in retail and moving all day, then I quit that and jumped up to an 8. I know lots of people would love to be down to an 8, but I'm not comfortable w/ it and don't want it to get any worse. DMom is now about a size 22 and used to be very skinny, so I don't want that to happen to me. Anyhow, last pregnancy in '04, I started out at 127 went up to 171!! lost everything but the last 5 lbs, but was just not the same body shape afterwards. So this time, I'm really eating well, and doing exercise videos at home. I know you aren't supposed to really diet when preg. and believe me, I am def. eating, but just eating the right stuff. Eggs and turkey bacon instead of Lucky Charms, etc. I want to be really toned again and able to knock the weight off at the end. I've only made it back to the 129 point twice since the baby. Grrr!!! So keep up the good work everyone and I'm sure I'll get some serious motivation from you guys!!

I'm down to 136 as of this morning! Haven't weighed that for 6 months. Going for 135 by next Thursday!
 
Hey there everyone,

I've got some sort of stomach bug going that has made me feel very ill the last couple days :sick: I've stayed on plan though :thumbsup2 It's been that TOM too (when it rains it pours) so I'm staying off the scale until Friday. Hope to see something after feeling so icky.

Welcome Tara! I know what you mean, it's nice to be able to come to a thread and not get flamed for wanting to get back to a small 6 again! Often when I talk about losing weight I get nasty comments about how I'm skinny and shouldn't be worried about losing weight. Well when I've put on 20+ pounds, I'm NOT skinny. I'm not obese, but I'm still NOT skinny! I carry it all in my belly, and frankly it's uncomfortable and I do'nt feel good about myself.

I actually debated starting this thread for awhile, thinking that we'd get haters in here, and I'm glad that I've found a great group of people who are all in the same place with their weight and can understand that we feel the need to lose weight as much as those on other threads.

Just keep up your good eating habits through your pregnancy and stay away from the junk, and you'll be fine. And we'll be here after to cheer you on!

I had a burger (93% fat free) and roll for dinner, but no chips or fries or anything.

I can't wait until Valentines day--DH is taking me out to dinner. I just hope my tummy can tolerate it after eating so healthy for the past three plus weeks.
