Does anyone have green grass yet?

Ours is turning green right now. There are nice dead spots that need to be fixed as well.

Our grass is white. It is piled up all over the yard. The temps are going to be in the 40's the next few days, so the white stuff should be melting soon.
The green stuff will be here in a few weeks!

Here in my part of the UK the grass has only started growing in the last few days. We are about a month behind with the plants in the garden. The cattle are still in and will be for a few more weeks. The birds have just started nesting around the house but a lot of the trees are still very bare.

Winter seems to have gone on far too long this year and I can not wait for some prolonged sun to get everything going. Unfortunately we need a months solid rain or we will be facing severe water shortages.

Lala- Please tell me what color is your grass is. I am just fascinated by this topic. I don't know why. Other than to repeat that ch-ch-ch-chia thing you made me think of.

Well, since ya asked, it's green. Yep. DH is upset because that means it is OH-ficial lawn mowing season. We (He) haven't (hasn't) mowed it three times yet like Dixipixi, but once so far.

The grass is still dormant here. I pull into my sister's yard, and I see a big patch of wet ground, and where it is wet, she has the brightest, greenest grass. LOL! Can you tell what they are having problems with????

So it is true, the grass is always greener over the septic tank.

Mostly brown, with several green patches. The patches are all curtsy of the four legged family member . Our own personal fertilizer maker.
