Does anybody remember Small World when it first opened?

Someone at work told me they remember it being at least 2x at long. She said they took much of it away to make room for the other attractions around it.

True or just a "kid sized" memory.....?

(I didn't visit this ride until the 90's as an adult. Though I did visit IASM in CA in the 70's...)

I don't think it's ever been changed to remove scenes. I just checked Wikipedia, and it's been open since MK opened in 1971 with a closure in 2004 for the new overlay and refurb.

Kid-sized memories are amazing at times, I am am still shocked at times at seeing and doing things I saw and did as a youth.

Also, the outside beginning part at DL might be what you are recalling, not present at WDW.

I remember riding it at the World's fair but I don't remember what the differences were, I am sure there must have been some.
