Doc Mcstuffins and Sofia meet and greet

This may be off topic, but we just saw the traveling Disney JR Live Pirate and Princess show here in SC. The characters were face characters, and the show was amazing! I loved it as much as my DD5 did. If it comes near you, it is a MUST see!!! My daughter has seen the pics of Sofia from the parks, and when she saw the face character in the show, she couldn't believe it was "really the real" Sofia. So magical for her!

This was at the very end and there was Peter Pan, sharkey and bone, Jake and NLP, Cinderella, Sofia and family, and Doc!




I understand it could be a staffing nightmare, but I would be pretty awesome if Jake, Sofia and *one day* Doc could be face characters!! But we will be happy to meet Sofia regardless in November!

We are going to this in October, about a month before our Disney trip! I am super excited for the show!

My information is more recent and I am confident it is accurate.

I concur. I received a confirmation just this morning that "Sofia goes live on Sunday". I said, "THIS Sunday ... August 11?" And the response was, "Yes."

So ... there you go.

I think it extremely likely she will eventually appear, but timetables are very murky.

My daughter's Sofia dress from the Disney Store came today!!! Super cute! I wanted to wait to buy one at Disney but got mixed information on if one was available there or not or sold out or what. Plus wanted it for Halloween. Now to keep it in wearable condition until then!

I was afraid as well, got a friend to pick one up for me in NYC! I heard they were extremely rare at WDW! In act, the salesperson at the Times Square store said they couldn't keep them in stock.

My daughter Amelia (Age 8) would be very excited to see Sofia and Doc McStuffins in any of the theme parks.

Her Daddy (me) thinks that Doc McStuffins sounds a lot like a McDonalds sandwich.

Another thread confirms she started this morning. I expect there is an afternoon set today (and into the future) as well.

Nothing recent. I am confident she is coming, but exactly when is difficult to say. May be a few months at least before we know more.
