I always wear my wedding ring, but sometimes I take off my engagement ring.

Ditto.
As soon as I get home - I take my e-ring off. It's a bit bigger then my wedding band - so it "spins" around my finger sometimes...and I never wanted them soldered together. (as they are 2 different metals - one white gold, one platinum).

But I never take my wedding band off (kick *** tan line)...and I've never seen DH take his off either. (unless he was playing with his welder or something).

My father is on his 4th or 5th wedding band...every time he lost it - they'd get a new set...so my mom has all these extra bands laying around! hehehe

I have 3 rings and they never come off, I wear all the time- engagement ring, ruby & dia anniv band and ruby & dia wrap.

As strange as it may sound, I don't wear mine at work or when I'm working out. Why? Only because I don't like it when it gets dirty or sweaty. My wife understands. Otherwise, I'm always wearing it...

I never wear my rings at home but will usually put one on when I go out. I seem to have a collection. DH doesn't wear a wedding band for practical reasons.

My dh and I don't have any anymore. We did when we got married but after several years his wore thru. My band and engagement ring I gave to my baby sister when she and her dh got engaged and married, because they couldn't afford any. I'll get new ones someday. But with or without them I'm married and madly in love.

I wear mine when I'm out of the house, but rarely at home. DH never takes his off.

My wedding ring stays on 24/7 - it is a plain gold band. All other rings come off as soon as I get home.

Never, ever wear it. Don't wear any other jewelry either. I get a horrible rash from the metal in the ring, and being a nurse I can't have any open areas on my hands or I'm not supposed to work. Plus everytime I washed my hands it was torture. I keep the ring in a little dish DS gave me for Mothers Day when he was a little boy. The sad part of this story is my husband never noticed I had taken the ring off for almost 2 YEARS!

Never wear it. I wore it for 2 days after the marriage but it gave me a bad rash. I have very sensitive skin and I can't wear jewelry for long extended periods of time. I don't wear any jewelry at all, never have since I was a kid.

I used to always take mine off at night, and then I would forget to put them back on - sometimes for days. But my husband told me that it really hurt his feelings that I was so cavalier about not wearing it, so I have reformed, and now I wear it every day, all night, in the shower, etc.

Back in my "forget to put it on" days, I was about 5 months pregnant, we were moving (surprise!) and I ran to the store to pick up chips, soda and beer for all the friends who were helping us move. I brought my (the 4 yo) daughter with me.

So there I am, in the checkout, visibly pregnant, with another kid in tow, no wedding ring, buying beer and junk food.

I got such dirty looks! I wanted to shout out "This is not what it looks like!"

This past Valentines day I was talking to my MIL and she was telling me that she hasn't taken off her wedding band once in the 39 years that she has been married. I thought that was wonderful and I haven't taken mine off since then as well. I only wear my engagement ring when I leave the house.

Well, I wear my "engagement ring" on my left hand now. We were never really engaged so the "engagement ring" was bought after we were already married. I just got a 3 stone anniversary band this past anniversary. AS for my wedding band, it just fits again. After having baby 2 and 3 it didn't fit. It was made my size (3 1/2). My engagement ring was made a 4 1/2 though so that always fit. I used to have to wear them backwards so the wedding band would keep the engagement ring on. Anyway, now I have my wedding band and anniversary band on together. Sorry so long.

The only time I take it off is to clean & sleep. Used to wear it all the time & sleep in it. Learned my lesson after banging my ring while cleaning...I loosened my stone. My husband on the other hand...doesn't wear his wedding ring to work because he is a general contractor. He saw a friend get his hand caught behind a wall (the ring got caught on something) & ripped up his finger so bad...part of the bone was showing. Well, that was enough for DH to see & now he wears his wedding ring on weekends & when we go out.

A lot of people ask me if it bothers me that my husband doesn't wear his ring to work. It doesn't at all. I am secure enough in my relationship that he doesn't need to wear it to work & I would feel horrible if something happened to him b/c he was wearing his ring.

SO...let me pose the question...does it upset any of you when your spouse does not wear his/her wedding ring?

I put most of the time. Because I dont' wear while exercising or yard work or things like that. I take it off when I get home at night and put it on in the mornings.

I voted sometimes.

I don't wear it around home unless we have company. My stone is a marquis cut and tends to get snagged on things. I do wear it whenever we go out though. At first DH was offended that I never wore it around the house. Now he is used to it. I'm not a big jewlery person anyway.
